Designed by the owner, a former Ralph Lauren designer in New York, our home was created for families who want both elegance and ease. Thoughtfully renovated and curated as our personal home — not a high-turnover rental — it blends elevated coastal design with the practical details that make traveling as a family feel effortless.

From layered textures and original artwork to carefully selected furnishings, every detail reflects a home created for meaningful time together.

Private Beach Access — No Roads to Cross

Step outside and walk through Silver Dunes' lush, manicured courtyard directly to our private beach — with no streets or public roads to cross.

The courtyard is part of what makes Silver Dunes so special. Unlike Destin's crowded high-rise resorts, this low-rise beachfront community offers an expansive green lawn where children can actually run and play.

Enjoy morning coffee overlooking the Gulf, bocce and lawn games in the afternoon, or seasonal Movies on the Lawn under the stars.

The community is gated with nighttime security for additional peace of mind, and seasonal beach service makes days on the sand even easier.

More Than a Vacation Rental

Silver Dunes has been part of my life since I was born.

My parents came here before me, and although I've moved 23 times in my life, this was the one place I returned to year after year. It has always felt like home.

Now, I get to watch our own children make memories in the same place — running across the lawn, playing with other children, swimming, searching for shells and spending long days together on the beach.

After becoming a mother, I also realized how difficult "vacationing" with young children can actually be. So when we had the opportunity to create this home, I wanted to combine my background in design with everything I had learned traveling as a parent.

I wanted it to be beautiful enough that the adults felt like they were truly on vacation — and thoughtful enough that parents could actually enjoy being on one.

This is not simply a place to stay.

It's a place to gather, slow down, celebrate and create the kind of family traditions that bring you back to the same place year after year.

We would be honored to have our home become part of yours.

What makes Silver Dunes so special isn't just the beautiful beach—it's the community. Nearly everyone we meet has a story like ours. Families have been returning for generations because this place has a way of becoming part of your family's traditions.

Unlike many larger resorts, Silver Dunes feels peaceful and personal. The low-rise buildings mean the beach never feels overcrowded with endless rows of chairs, and the private beach access makes every trip to the sand easy. The gated courtyard becomes a gathering place where kids play wiffleball, spikeball, football, and make new friends while parents relax nearby.

Throughout the summer, the community hosts family events like live music, movies on the lawn, s'mores nights, and holiday celebrations that bring everyone together. It's the kind of place where neighbors become friends and vacation traditions are passed down from one generation to the next.

To us, Silver Dunes has never been just a vacation destination.

It's our home away from home, and we're honored to share it with your family.

Before starting our family, I moved to New York to pursue fashion design. Design has always been part of who I am. But when I came home and became a mom, that passion took on a new purpose. I knew I wanted to create something that made family vacations easier, more beautiful, and more meaningful.

Traveling with young children was, without question, the hardest kind of travel we had ever experienced. Every rental brought new worries—forgotten essentials, unsafe spaces, sleepless nights, and the constant feeling that we were living out of suitcases instead of actually relaxing.

I wanted to change that.

My goal was to create a home where parents could truly exhale. That's why you'll find a fully stocked nursery, high chairs, bath toys, books, toys for every age, flexible sleep arrangements, beach gear, and so many of the little things that make traveling with children feel manageable.

But I didn't want it to simply be practical.

I've stayed in too many vacation rentals that felt empty—where everything beautiful had been removed because it might get broken, and where the kitchen had only the bare minimum. I wanted this home to feel warm, inviting, and lived in. People told me I was crazy for decorating it this way, but I believed guests would appreciate being treated to a space that felt like a true home.

The kitchen was designed for gathering, not just cooking. It's stocked so families can prepare meals together without wishing for one more pan or serving bowl. The living spaces were intentionally created so everyone has room to spread out, play games, laugh, and simply enjoy being together.

If an afternoon storm rolls in and keeps you off the sand, I don't want you counting the hours until the sun comes back out. I want you to love being here. I want the memories made inside these walls to be just as meaningful as the ones made on the beach.

This isn't just a vacation rental.

It's the home I spent years dreaming about creating for families like yours.
