Let Sterling Shores Resort host your next getaway to The Sunshine State and spend a vacation you will never forget! Take advantage of the on-site shared amenities that include swimming pools, a seasonal poolside snack shack, a grill area in case you'd like to try your hand at grilling, and even a well-equipped fitness center. Inside your charming vacation rental, the fully-equipped kitchen is perfect to whip up tasty meals while the private balcony is exactly what you need to admire the ocean views.



What’s nearby:

Sterling Shores is located just off Highway 98 and is just a short walk to many beach dining experiences such as The Pancakery and The Back Porch. Golf is a very popular sport and you won't have trouble finding many golf courses nearby. Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park and its waterslides, swimming pools, and rides await you and your family only two miles away.

Please be advised that a roof replacement project is currently underway at Sterling Shores, with an anticipated completion date by the end of July 2026.

Construction activity will occur Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with the possibility of Sunday work if weather delays are encountered. During morning hours (7:00 AM to approximately noon), guests may experience sawing and scraping noise, most notably in penthouse units. Afternoon work is expected to be considerably quieter.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as this necessary improvement is completed, and we regret any inconvenience this may cause during your stay.

Great location

I really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a great location with lots of good amenities. The condo appeared to be a bit dated, but was clean for the most part. I would recommend this property!

We thoroughly enjoyed the condominium. Very large master bedroom and a very spacious family room. The grounds and pool were extremely well kept. The beach of course was fantastic . Would definitely stay here again !

Enjoyed the stay, loved the location. Private beach, bar and grill, all in the sand! Supplies were a little thin, paper towels, TP, bath towels....otherwise wonderful!

We hare so glad that you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately 1 of the 3 elevators on property is down due to a part needing to be replaced and we sincerely apologize. I have passed along your review to the building association manager as they are responsible for the elevator repair and they are at the mercy of the back ordered elevator part. We want every guest to have an amazing vacation and again we do apologize and we will do everything in our power to make sure that this is not an issue again.

Perfect Location

This was the perfect condo for a family of 5. Enough space and privacy for everyone without feeling cramped or crowded. The close access to the beach (skip and a hop) and the nice pool was perfect for our group. The check in and check out process was very easy and effortless. Appreciated the keyless entry to the main gate and our condo.

We had a good time..kitchen was a little inadequate and the fees were a little much I had to constantly worry about losing one of the wrist bands because the replacement fee was $25 each (a nickel wrist band)

Amazing

My family and I are supper happy we had a lot of fun. The beach was super close. Perfect weather. The only problem was that in one of the room the ac didn't work at night. Other then that everything else was perfect. Definitely coming back!

A great hotel to stay in Destin

Everything is perfect except the sink water runs too slow. I put three stars for the cleanliness because there’s no place to put star for the slow running water. I’m happy with the cleanliness. I love the location, the ocean view, the spacious and nice looking outdoor pool with great landscape. We will come back again.

The sofa and recliner chair were EXTREMELY uncomfortable and rather cheap, considering the rent I paid. One elevator didn't run for over 11 weeks.

Nice, Clean Condo with Good View

Sterling Stores is a great condo to stay at if you don't mind having a beach view but not being directly on it. We find its priced well and we love having the extra large pool. We find its a reasonable trade. The room was clean and super nice. The kitchen wasn't quite as well stocked as some of the condos we've stayed in. They had everything that was absolutely required but not much extra. If you plan to cook every meal, which we did not, it might be a pain. It worked well for us though.
