Getaway with kids

This place was great! The location was in a good spot, not too crowded like other places can be. The condo was just as pictured and the check in/out process was easy. My kids LOVED the fact that each bunk bed had a tv. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Short stay; so much fun!

We didn’t stay long but the condo had everything we needed except scissors. It was a comfortable condo. Lots of games to play, beautiful views, and very clean. It was also very quiet.

Gorgeous and relaxing

Condo was clean, had everything we needed to cook meals, the views were breathtakingly gorgeous, friendly welcome, and did not have any issues. Perfect place to stay. Well stocked with the essentials and plenty of towels. We didn’t want to leave. We will definitely book 209 again.

Great location for small family!

This was our first stay at this location, and we loved it! Initially, we planned to have our family of 4 and ended up adding 2 other adults. The two full bathrooms were key to making this work! The kids loved the bunk beds, but full sized adults could have also used them easily. The only complaint I have is the lint trap on the dryer was broken, and it was difficult to get the dryer going on multiple occasions. Other than that, the unit had everything we needed, and the view was fantastic!

The condo was very clean and had many amenities! Everything was in proper working conditions. There were plenty of games and movies available, the beds were comfortable. Each bunk bed, main bed, and living room had their own tv with roku/cable access. It was stocked with plenty of linens and a great assortment of kitchen items. The pool and hot tub were in great working condition and clean. The beach was easy to access along with with 2 chairs and umbrella included with the stay of your room. They are already set up on the beach. Would defiantly stay here again!

Perfect place for us

We loved this condo! It was extremely clean and well maintained. The pictures don’t do the condo justice. They definitely pay attention to detail, with plenty of soft plush towels (not the usual hotel type ones that feel like sandpaper), our 2 boys loved the bunk beds with they’re own TVs. It was also nice to have little things like night lights, liquid hand soap, some cleaning supplies, salt and pepper, lots of extra pillows and blankets. You can’t get any closer to the beach than this. It was so nice and convenient having the beach chair service but on a busy day you need to get out there early to claim yours. We will definitely be back.

Nice unit, Nice overall property

The unit was clean, great temperature, supplied well and decorated cute and beachy. 100% will stay again. And a quick word about the overall property location, Every morning a man diligently cleaned the pool, pool deck and hot tub. I later seen him cleaning the elevator area. He was polite as well. Also, every elevator had a quality hospital grade hand sanitizer that ALL of them worked and were stocked. These are seemingly normal, but it's something I've observed larger, more expensive resorts and condos botching terribly. My wife and i appreciate the man that was cleaning lobby elevators between 10 and 2 on 04/13/2024. Thx

Family Vacation

The condo is nice, could use a little upgrading, but nice. Great location right on the beach. Daily beach service included—two chairs and an umbrella. We appreciated that. Our kids enjoyed the bunks with their own tvs.

Quick Fam Trip

Was a great experience for our first time doing VRBO. Everything was as seen and detailed in description and photos. 1 way 18 steps to beach, other side 6 steps to the beach. How can you go wrong? Ready to go back. Nice quiet setting away from all the hustle and bustle of daily life. Just perfect views of it all. Super nice friendly enviorment for all. Kids want to go back yesterday. Nice facility

We loved staying at Pelican Isle. The hot tub was steamy, the beach was beautiful, and the room was nice. I frequently saw staff cleaning the premises. While we were the the parking deck was being repainted and their was some maintenance work taking place on the front of the building, but it wasn’t to distracting. The decor of the room could be updated, but we had everything we needed and a perfect time away.

Beachside Bliss

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pelican Isle. The condo was clean and met our needs perfectly. The property was very family friendly yet peaceful and quiet at night! The fitness center was closed for remodeling, but that didn't effect our stay. We enjoyed the wonderful views of the fireworks from the pier and the kids had a blast walking to the end of the beach to hunt for crabs! We will definitely be recommending this place to our family and friends!

Nice place, little busy

The condo was very clean and decorated nicely. I noticed this location was busier than expected, but everyone was friendly. The master bed was very springy and hard to get comfortable. Not as stocked as other condos we’ve stayed in, but enjoyed our stay overall. I was surprised to see carpeting in a beachfront condo. The chairs on the balcony were high so it was nice to see over the railing.

Great location

We love the location of this condo and the size of the condo was just right for our family of 4. I especially loved the amazing views from the balcony! The complimentary beach chairs and umbrella are definitely a plus as well.

Great stay

We had a great time. The location was perfect, room clean and comfortable, only suggestion would be to replace the master bedroom fan with one that has a light in it. Lightning in that room was the only thing that drove me crazy. Found myself wanting to turn on more lights other than the nightstand lamps. This was minor though! We loved it and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Ft Walton Beach.

Great value for a family with kids!

The bunk beds made me a little nervous though since no railing. I used a pillow to prop the mattress up. I loved how easy the check in/out process was!!! The code entry made it easier than other condos I’ve stayed at! The beach was very pleasant!

Nice condo

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. I was a little bummed that the gym was out of commission due to damage from hurricane Sally. I was able to work up a sweat walking the beach so it all worked out! There was a small issue with our door code upon check-in, but we got that sorted out rather quickly. I would definitely stay here again!

When Sally came for a visit

In spite of Hurricane Sally’s visit, we enjoyed our 6 nights in #209 thanks to the owner’s concern for our well being and a lovely, clean, well furnished, comfortable condo. Would definitely stay there again.
