House was beautiful, close to everything, great beds and pillows. Overall good experience. Enjoyed access to the pools and beach.Close to torch lake and bellaire lake. Would be helpful to have adresses to the beach we have access too. Overall great experience

Our group of 8 had a fantastic stay! The beds, pillows and furniture were very comfortable and the layout of the home gave everyone tons of space to spread out - or come together as a full group for activities. I don't think there was a second at the house that someone wasn't using the game/movie room :) The hosts were super nice and communicative and you can tell that they take pride in the home. The mid-century modern decor is unique and well done. The home was well equipped with everything we needed.The location was in close proximity to Torch Lake, Lake Bellaire, Golf Courses and a reasonable drive for a day trip to Mackinac Island.

Place was gorgeous, immaculate and great for our family which included 6 adults and 2 kids (15 and 11) We enjoyed the games down stairs. We never had time to enjoy the movie room. We ate all breakfasts and dinners at the house. We grilled 3 nights. Great appliances in the kitchen. Whole place had good setups and starter supplies. We enjoyed the huge dining room table for eating and great meal conversations. We used the breakfast bar counter to do puzzles. The living room was great sitting for conversations and some games too. The master bedroom was huge with its own living room and sitting room. Master bedroom was very nice. The master walk in closet room had all the baby furniture stored there for use had we had a baby. We enjoyed the beach access and we looked at the pools. We just did not have time to use the pools. We enjoyed the paddleboards. We enjoyed the closeness of Torch Lake for boating/tubing and for another beach. The hosts answered our questions ahead of time and during our stay to make sure we had a great time. I loved Jeffs suggestion where to rent a pontoon boat. That too was a great experience. We would definitely like to come back the next time we vacation in the area. Thanks for hosting our stay!!!

With views overlooking a fabulous golf course at one end of the home to a sweeping westward landscape view from the other end, this home is situated with ample outdoor space and stunning vistas. The golf enthusiast can enjoy playing a round at one of several local courses while others can adventure in the waters of nearby Lake Bellaire and Torch Lake. In the winter months, the home is located just a quick 5-minute drive from Schuss Mountain Ski Resort for fun on the slopes. Shanty Creek resort also offers free access to indoor and outdoor pools as well as the beach at Lake Bellaire; and the home is within walking distance to unique bars and restaurants at the resort.

This property is one-of-a-kind! The flat-top A-frame central gathering area gives homage to its mid-century building design inspired by typical ski chalets and allows for gatherings of large groups. For quieter moments guests can find relaxation in the reading nook, the well-appointed bedrooms, or even on one of the four outdoor decks. The lower-level offers plenty of entertainment with ping pong, pool, and poker tables along with a 150 in. screen for movie watching. We think everyone will find a little slice of heaven on earth here at Cedarcrest Hideaway.
