We've now stayed here twice. Both times were good experiences. This time, there were no coffee filters. We didn't know until late the first night. Yeah, I know, but we were leaving extremely early the next morning to go crabbing.

It’s wonderful to hear that you chose to stay with us again, Karen! We’re thrilled that you had good experiences both times. We completely understand how important that morning coffee is, especially when you’re heading out early for crabbing. We appreciate you bringing the missing coffee filters to our attention, and we’ll make sure to have that sorted for future guests. We hope your crabbing adventure was a success, and we’d love to welcome you back for a third visit whenever you’re ready for another getaway!

Points forts : Arrivée, communication et emplacement.
Points faibles : Exactitude de l’annonce
This property should be advertised as a shared property, because you are sharing a single driveway for parking and the backyard/deck with the people renting the room over the garage. Several things in disrepair: broken bathroom mirror, doorknob to back door fell off, shower doesn’t drain so you are standing in a backed up drain, privacy shade on front door is broken and falls off. States full laundry room but it’s locked. Backyard is not mowed. No propane in the advertised fire pit. Not fully fenced for a pet friendly rental. Not impressed with this stay.

Points forts : Propreté, emplacement et exactitude de l’annonce.
Points faibles : Arrivée, communication
The property itself is fine. But there is a real communication problem with the management company Avari. They dribble important information out while a the same time bombarding you with useless info. Case in point. In all the digital information provided nowhere was there instructions for the keypad on the laundry room. They also didn’t provide the checkout instructions until 16 hours before checkout. We left a day early so we had to call Avari again to get the info we needed, All of this back and forth could have been avoided if there was a written manual containing all the vital information in the unit.

We appreciate your feedback, George, and we're truly sorry to hear about the communication issues you experienced during your stay. It’s important to us that our guests feel well-informed and comfortable, and we understand how frustrating it can be to not have all the necessary details at your fingertips. Your suggestion for a written manual containing vital information is a great idea, and we will certainly take that into consideration to improve the experience for future guests. We want every aspect of your stay to be seamless, from check-in to checkout. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us, and we hope you still found some enjoyment in your time at the property.

We love the location and we had a wonderful vacation here. Vacasa was wonderful to us when my car broke down and I was unable to get into it. The housekeeper was very helpful in taking me to the store.

Review

This is a great location if you wanna go to Winchester Bay and fish or crab, fish hike, and enjoy the great outdoors you can walk to different restaurants there and the amenities in the home are very nice. We really enjoyed the comfortable beds and the living space is very nice with lots of room to watch a movie late at night. We also enjoyed all of the things in the kitchen for cooking.

Great Place and Location

I am working in Reedsport for the Summer and this place provided my coworker and myself with a quick and easy commute to work every day. The property is about a 5 minute drive from Reedsport and dune access with multiple restaurants in walking distance. The property and house were well taken care of, clean, and made us feel right at home.
