Perfect for a small family vacation or a romantic getaway for two, Circa 1940 is this adorable classic cottage built with local cypress and old-growth heart pine. It is located in downtown Bonita Springs, Florida. Relax by the glow of the firepit in the evening, counting stars and sharing stories and good times with family and friends. While this property is conveniently close to downtown and right across from Island Park, you'll also be near several local attractions, including additional parks, Barefoot Beach, the Hertz Arena, and Bonita Fairways Club Golf. Within walking distance to the Historic District of Bonita Springs, you can access the path across from the home to walk or bike through Island Park and catch a quick workout or take a relaxing stroll under a canopy of majestic Oak, Banyan, and Buttonwood trees and bridge over the Imperial River which takes you right to the heart of town. Step back in time, relax and enjoy the charm and peacefulness of Old Florida.





Step through the front door and discover a cozy and inviting interior restored in period fashion. Stock up the fridge and prepare anything from your morning coffee to full course dinners in the full kitchen. Dine together at the adjacent table or head outside, fire up the gas grill, and gather on the patio for the perfect alfresco experience. You'll also find a fire ring to enjoy as the sun sets.

Thank you for the fun and welcoming stay! The only issue is that only one of the stove top burners work and the wifi for live tv was spotty and slow. Other than that, it was great!

Centrally located cottage

If you like rustic, this is for you! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay- walking distance to restaurants and not far to the beach. Great back yard, comfortable beds, and had what we needed. Clean too!

Great place

The houde was super cute and cozy, the trees in the yard were huge and breath taking. Super easy to get too, and to get to other places. The town is super cute and decorated for chridtmas !

We had a wonderful stay. The grounds are beautiful, with a huge banyan in the front yard. Lush green foliage fill the view out the original 1940s metal windows, Wood cladding and a worn leather sofa brought instant relaxation (as did the plush mattress and bedding in both bedrooms). Our boys loved running around the park across the street. Nice quite street. We walked to the Wonder Gardens, Grandpa's Pizza, and several other shops. We highly recommend for budget minded travelers!

Great little bungalow

Snuggled in the town of Bonita Springs, this great little two bedroom bungalow, is close to Naples and Fort Myers, and yet is secluded, private, and homie. It had all the amenities I could ask for. I would love to stay there for longer next time.

All the amenities you would expect and then some. The owners have literally thought of everything you could need. Would choose this place again in a heartbeat!

The house was wonderful. Quaint cottage. Some beautiful furnishings. We had everything we needed. We didn’t cook or use the fire pit. The minor issues we had were dealt with quickly and adequately using the help section of the app.
