The Space:

The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops. A well-rested vacation awaits at this charming, family-friendly studio just steps away from the beach! It's well-equipped with everything you and your guests could ever need to spend an unforgettable time together. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials and all new appliances, new accordion style curtains, new furniture, freshly painted, central air-conditioning, a private balcony with terrific beach and ocean views, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and Smart TV with cable.



Things to Know

The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.

The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.

Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.



Assigned Parking begins Sunday 6/6/26 through 9/11/26. In Season Check in and Parking instructions:

NO EARLY PARKING or NO EARLY CHECK-INS ***No Early Parking and space numbers are NOT the same as the unit number.

***SATURDAYS ONLY… ****Security Staff will be positioned in the parking lot to give you your parking permit and parking space number at your check in time through 8pm, after 8pm please go to the front desk in the lobby of the Golden Sands building. There is 1 parking space available and Building Policy is a strict No early parking. Vehicles may not be parked or left unattended during the move in or move out process. All vehicles must be parked in your assigned parking space or your vehicle is subject to booting or towing at the vehicle owner’s expense. Parking tags must be displayed at all times. ***No Early Parking and space numbers are NOT the same as the unit number.

***SUNDAY through FRIDAY…June 6th, 2026 through September 11th, 2026 ****Please see the front desk in the lobby of the Golden Sands for your parking permit at your check in time. Please have your check in email ready for staff. ***



Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Great Vacation Spot

I rented this unit for 5 days over the 4th of July weekend. It was well maintained, very clean and in fact appeared to be recently updated. Would highly recommend renting this unit and would rent again if I come back to OCMD.

Great location!

We love the fact that we had a beach front view and just a few steps from the beach itself. The places has great amenities. The only downfall is that the whole place is dated, the building and the apartment we rented. The wait for the elevators is crazy, but besides that, the location was great and the price right for the place.

Overall, it’s a decent hotel. The staff is very friendly. The only suggestion I would Give would be for some updates in the rooms. Also, our room had a stale smell to it.

Perfect little escape

We really enjoyed this property. Centered near various restaurants, the beach and shops. We stayed Sunday to Sunday. Check-in and parking was easy. The pools were clean and maintained very well. Loved the outdoor amenities. This place was ideal for us, smaller yet very cozy. Had one minor maintenance issue wheich was resolved withing a few hours. We look forward to coming back again.

Great Room with A View

This studio was wonderful, and just right for the two of us. Updated, clean, and well supplied with necessities. The view was great, and being on the 7th floor, we could see what was happening below, but was not bothered with any noise. The bed was very comfortable to sleep on. The facility was great, being on the beach and with a lot of other amenities available. We notice that it was a very friendly atmosphere, with staff and other residents and guest. Looking forward to a return visit.

Great Bday weekend for my husband.

We love Ocean city for the boardwalk, beaches and great restaurants. We spend most of our time on Assateague hiking and looking for ponies and enjoying the beaches both there and at Ocean City. This condo was a perfect location for everything we did and The Golden Sands is a great building with friendly wonderful staff. Vacasa was in touch with us through the whole vacation, answered questions immediately and took care of the one incident we had with the dishwasher. The views for both sunrise and sunset were amazing!

Great place

Everything was updated. It was very clean. Having linens and towels provided was a special bonus. I was highly appreciative of the little things that were added such as hand soap, toilet paper, wash machine pods, etc. This makes this condominium stand out far above the rest. I would recommend this to any family or friends
