The Space:

Perfectly located for outdoor activities, dining, and shopping, there's something for everyone at Far Away by the Sea. Seagull Beach is a great location for fun with lifeguards in the summer, parking on-site, concessions, restrooms, and showers. Tour the area and discover fun attractions like Nantucket Ferry and fantastic nearby chowder restaurants. After a day of adventuring, play a round of cornhole outsie, gather around the firepit to tell stories, and stargaze, bringing the perfect day to a close. Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and a cozy atmosphere throughout the well-appointed living area. Relax and make yourself at home on the plush furniture, stream a favorite movie on the large TV, or curl up with a good book by the crackling fireplace. Prepare grand meals and beach picnic snacks in the sophisticated open-concept kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances, a floating island breakfast bar, and a quaint dining table. Comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms ensure that everyone will receive a wonderful night's rest from the day's adventures, with a sofa bed provided for extra room. THINGS TO KNOW To use streaming services, guests must log in with their own credentials. An outdoor shower is provided; please rinse off when returning from the beach. Far Away By the Sea is a beautifully styled, comfortable home away from home. Excellent amenities and outdoor areas for sitting and relaxing. Convenient to the beach, restaurants, and shopping.

Perfect vacation home!

This was the perfect getaway for our family. Beautiful home, very clean and welcoming. Walking distance from the beach and different activities, shopping, and dining. We did not want to leave and we will definitely be going back!

Late summer getaway

This rental was gorgeous, very comfortable and cozy. The outdoor table was perfect for dinner on the deck. The wifi worked great with my streaming stick.

Far Away by the Sea

The home was perfect sized for a family of three. It was set in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The bedrooms and living space was nice. The kids bedroom had a Ms. Packman console which was a hit. The only downside(s) were the pest control issues in the kitchen and bathroom (ceiling). Seemed to be contained to those areas. It seems host contacted pest control company since there were dead bugs on every windowsill in the house. The coffe maker water reservoir also has green algae in it which was a turnoff to brewing some joe.

Far Away by the Sea…

The property is in a quiet neighborhood with a somewhat secluded backyard. The property and amenities matched the online listing. The home is small with one bathroom, but worked well for a family of three. The rooms were nice and kitchen appliances seemed updated. The only negatives were some pest control issues in the kitchen and bathroom ceiling. You could tell they had some company spray the house since every single window sill in every single room had dead bugs. Also, the ninja coffee maker water reservoir had green algae which was gross. The pest problem seemed contained in those two areas of the house and we didn’t have any issues in any of the bedrooms. The kids room did have a Ms. Packman game console which was a hit. Overall, a good stay.

Cute home but not the best option

Loved the area, house was great location. Didn’t love that the AC only cooled front part of house. Bathroom was TINY for 4 people. Ant problem in kitchen and room with bunkbeds out door in cabinets and don’t leave anything on counter! Fire pit didn’t work, which is why I rented this house. Boo… I reached out to Vacasa the night we arrived, they said they would be back in touch with me. I waited and waited- no response so I reached back out: They sent someone out that day to fix it because I said customer service wasn’t great. Sadly, we left the day after and never got to use it: Cute house, but not for a family of four with bigger kids.
