Whether you're sipping coffee under bright summer skies or enjoying the fiery colors of the fall foliage, this cozy cottage offers the perfect setting to relax and recharge.

The space
Perfectly located in the heart of Northern Michigan, the Dogmans Hideout sits on 2.5 private acres between Charlevoix, Boyne City, and Petoskey. Enjoy quick access to beaches, lakes, skiing, wineries, and charming downtowns — all within 10–20 minutes. Close to Lake Charlevoix, Lake MI, Boyne Mountain, Walloon Lake, and Bay Harbor, this peaceful retreat offers the best of Up North. This property also backs up to Horton Creek Nature Preserve, a 385 acre nature area. There is 4 miles of trails in the preserve.

This bright and welcoming single level home sits on 2.5 acres and is ideal for families. Inside you'll find a comfortable living room with 3 couches, with one being a sleeper sofa.

A large dining table, enough to seat 8.
A blackstone grill on the back porch.
A trampoline and firepit in the backyard.
The master bedroom has a king size bed with an en suite bathroom.
A kids bedroom has two twin bunk beds.
The 3rd bedroom has a queen size bed.
A full size bathroom next to those bedrooms.
The 4th bedroom is located on the side property, a "guest cottage/tiny home", which has a queen size bed.
The kitchen is bright and functional with everything you need to cook and gather.
The en suite bathroom has a walk in shower, the shared bathroom has a bathtub.

**The 4th bedroom guest cottage is not recommended for winter bookings. It does not have central heating, but we do have space heaters**

Whether you’re sipping coffee on one of the porches, hosting dinner outdoors, or curling up by the bonfire after a day of exploring, the Dogmans Hideout offers the perfect blend of comfort and relaxation.

Guest access
You are welcome to use all spaces except the garage & the closet in the master bedroom.
Entry is through a keyless keypad for convenient self check-in.
