Welcome to Frankie’s Place on Lake Carlos! Our newly remodeled 5BR lake house sleeps 12 and features a modern kitchen, updated bathrooms, a great yard for games, & a private dock with access to Alexandria’s famous Chain of Lakes. Relax on the spacious deck or in the sunroom featuring a vaulted ceiling & beautiful lake views—it's also the official hangout spot of Frankie (you will find him keeping an eye on things from his spot on the wall). Frankie’s Place is designed for gathering. With 5 bedrooms plus a stunning lakeside bonus room (featuring 2 additional beds), we comfortably host up to 12 guests.

The Heart of the Home: Main Level

• Modern Kitchen: A chef’s dream featuring all-new stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, and sleek counters. The massive center island and dedicated coffee bar make mornings a breeze.

• Dining: Our large dining table seats 10, perfect for long lakefront dinners and board game marathons.

• The Living Room: Our favorite spot in the house! This expansive room features vaulted ceilings and panoramic lake views. It’s also the official hangout spot of Frankie (you’ll find him on the wall overlooking the lake)!

• Outdoor Living: Step through one of three sliding glass doors onto a massive lakeside deck. Whether you’re grilling or just soaking up the sun, the view of Lake Carlos is unmatched.

Upper Level Retreats

• Find peace in the upper-level bedrooms, including two balcony decks (one offering private views of the lake) where you can enjoy a quiet morning coffee while watching the mist rise off the water.

Lower Level Lounging

• The lower level is perfect for families or larger groups, featuring a bunk room, a private queen room, a comfortable TV/lounge area with a couch, and our bonus "sunny room" with two additional beds.


Yard & Lake Fun

We pride ourselves on having great yard space—a rarity for lakefront properties! It’s spacious and ready for yard games (cornhole is our favorite!).

• Private Dock & Great Fishing: Bring your boat or rent one locally! You have full access to our private dock to explore Lake Carlos and the rest of the chain. Don't forget your fishing gear, as Lake Carlos is known for its incredible fishing. We are less than a mile from the closest boat launch.

• Quiet Street: Located on a peaceful road, you’ll enjoy the tranquility of lake life while being only minutes away from the action in Alexandria.

Things to Note

• Check-in: 3:00 PM | Check-out: 10:00 AM.

• Parking: The driveway can accommodate up to 7 vehicles.

• Seasonal Items: The dock is typically installed by Memorial Day and removed in early October (weather opermitting). Please message us for specific dates if booking during the spring or fall months.

• Respect the Space: This is a quiet residential street; we kindly ask for no parties or loud events to ensure the neighborhood remains peaceful.

House Logistics:

Technology: We have 3 Smart TV's that will allow you to log into your personal streaming platforms. We ask that you log out of each of these before you leave. We do not want our next renters to have access to your accounts.

Heating/Cooling:
The Nest located in the main entryway controls the temperature for the home except for the following exceptions:
* Frankie's Room (living room) and the sunny twin bedroom in the basement are not on the central system. We have a system in each of those rooms that is controlled by the white Remote Control on the wall. These systems work very quickly to change the temperature in those rooms, we ask that you turn them off when you are not using those spaces.

Safety:
Your safety during your stay is important to us. We have smoke & carbon monoxide detectors throughout the home. We also have fire extinguishers on each level. Upstairs: Closet of lake side bedroom. Main Floor: Under the kitchen sink. Basement: Inside the mechanical room on the wall on the right.

We also have a first aid kit located in the bathroom cabinet on the main floor.
