Cozy Cabin

This beautiful cozy cabin on lake Miltona is nestled in a quiet bay and is only a 1/4 mile from the public boat landing. Unbelievable view with this higher elevation shoreline. One of the best patios on the lake, surrounded by perennials and a firepit to watch the sunset. Cabin is a 3 bedroom that sleeps 6 legally as to Douglas County guidelines. new kitchen new windows and a top fishing lake in the county. springtime off the dock produces very large Bass and pike have been caught just a short cast off the dock as well as sunfish during the summer. Lots of big boulders along the shoreline and around the landscaping. A word of caution with the elevation with small children and elderly but as long as you stay on the steps and not venture to the rocks or grassy sides of the back yard you will be fine. This is our cabin that we are truly in love with, and we hope you will love it too. Dock has no boat lift for guests, but a boat can easily be anchored next to it. Important---This property has 2 outdoor cameras and 1 doorbell camera for security reasons. It is part of our policy for security reasons for all guests to provide a driver's license or some sort of identification and reasons for stay.

We had a wonderful time in the cozy cabin on Lake Miltona! The cabin is cozy, but very nice and the outdoor space by the lake is great.

Nice quiet stay

A bit small but has a great 'cabin' feel. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is nicely furnished and very comfortable. Owners offer lots of small extras and we really enjoyed our stay!

Very clean cabin with roomy common areas for relaxing, eating or playing games. Kitchen has a very nice refrigerator, plenty of cookware & dishes to prepare meals, Keurig & pods for morning coffee. Bathroom & shower are a bit small, but they provide a full line up of supplies, paper products and plenty of bath towels. Dock access & tie off is simple. Nice little cabin on Lake Miltona. We really enjoyed our week here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cozy cabin! It was especially amazing because our grandparents owned this property for some forty starting in 1958. My cousin and I were overwhelmed at how the structure had maintained its’ authentic integrity. The improvements were wonderful and the memories for us amazing. It is a great place to fish, boat and relax! Make sure to eat at Chet’s by the Lake; it too, transcends time! Thank you to our wonderful hosts!

Beautiful Lake View

This is a very cozy cabin. The bedrooms are small but who needs a big place to just sleep!? The gathering spaces inside and out are great. The kitchen is sufficient. The outdoor space is fabulous! We loved the view of the lake and swam right out front.

Perfect Place for Family

We loved the property. The kitchen provided everything we needed for preparing our meals. The patio with the grill and and outdoor table and chairs gave us lots of room to eat. The living room was a good size for us to sit and play games. We loved the fire pit with the BT speakers in the evening and in the morning. And I and my grandson had fun fishing off the dock. It was perfect for us.

A great cabin on a classic Minnesota lake, totally peaceful!

We actually have a family cabin on a nearby lake. Anticipating a large family gathering at our cabin with younger members, in order to have a quieter place for those of us who prefer earlier bedtimes, we were delighted to find this cabin on Lake Miltona. It was a perfect nighttime get-away for my wife and me, very quiet and peaceful. The cabin was spotless and the kitchen well appointed. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. We didn't use the bunk beds this time, but they would be great for future visits with our grandchildren! Our hosts have a great place here and were helpful with the arrangements; FIVE STARS!
