Within a half-mile of the house are numerous restaurants (including the trendy Union Market area), public transportation stations (just a 9 minute walk to the Red Line), and other amenities (such as a Trader Joe's and other grocery stores). Or if you'll have a car, there is ample free parking and quick highway access for day trips around the DMV. Whether you’re unwinding in the spacious living areas or preparing meals in the chef's kitchen, this marvelous townhome offers an enjoyable stay. This tastefully appointed house boasts 2,700 square feet over 3 floors. The 12-foot ceilings and myriad windows create a light and airy feel throughout the house. Its spacious accommodations make it the ideal retreat for your group getaway. Some of the features include:

- Each bedroom has a designated bathroom. Two have their own en-suite bathroom, while the third bedroom has a bathroom across the hall from it. This is in addition to the half-bathroom on the ground floor.

- The dining area has a 9-foot long table that can easily accommodate 8 or more diners. It also has a comfy sofa for lounging while you wait for supper.

- The chef's kitchen boasts a state-of-the-art stove and oven, complete with pot-filler faucet for big cooking projects.

- As well as luxury furniture, the living room hosts a mini botanical garden in the bay window, providing a sunny green refuge in the comfort of your home.

- The third floor has a dedicated game room well stocked with modern board gaming titles, with floor-to-ceiling windows.

- Connected to the game room is a beautiful rooftop patio with cushioned furniture for a relaxing day in the sun.

Everything is completely private during your stay. The entire house is yours from the ground floor to the rooftop patio. There is a separate basement unit (with its own separate entrance through the back), but its only connecting point with the house is a stairwell behind a door with a manual lock on your side. Your host lives in the downstairs unit, so help and recommendations are never far away.

The house is in the heart of Washington, DC. While this affords unparalleled access to all the city has to offer, it does mean that you may encounter other aspects of city life - litter, ambulance sirens, etc. The neighborhood is safe, but if you're not comfortable with such sights, you may want to consider other bookings.
