The DG House offers 1,500 sq ft of pristine, brand-new living space just one mile from the water and 8 mins from downtown Hartwell. Named for its iconic neighbor—the Dollar General directly across the road—this home ensures you’re never more than a minute walk away from extra snacks, ice, or that one thing you forgot to pack.

No Pets: We maintain a pet-free environment to accommodate guests with severe allergies. This includes dogs and cats of any size.

For the past 15 years, my life was defined by the road, the music, and the stage. I’ve had the incredible privilege of touring the country playing music alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including Morgan Wallen and Blake Shelton.

But as any touring musician will tell you, living out of a suitcase means you spend a lot of time looking for a place that feels like home. Over the course of my career, I have stayed in well over 500 vacation rentals across North America.

I’ve seen it all—the good, the bad, and the brilliant. I quickly learned that the secret to a great stay isn't just a roof over your head; it’s the tiny details. It’s the crispness of the sheets, the cleanliness of the space, and that immediate feeling of relief when you walk through the door. I began keeping a mental checklist of exactly what makes a property truly exceptional.

Recently, my life took the best possible turn. My beautiful wife and I tied the knot, and we decided it was time to plant some roots and move closer to family. To make things even more exciting, we are now thrilled to be expecting our first child!

With this beautiful new chapter beginning, we found ourselves transitioning away from this brand-new home. Instead of selling it, we decided to turn this pristine property into a premium haven for travelers and lake-lovers.
