Welcome to our charming year-round cabin on the shores of Medalfellsvatn, a peaceful retreat surrounded by some of Iceland's most beautiful natural scenery. Nestled between majestic mountains and overlooking the tranquil lake, our home offers the perfect balance of relaxation, comfort, and easy access to Iceland's top attractions.

The cabin is 63 m² and features three bedrooms, comfortably accommodating a family or small group. Sleeping arrangements include one double bed, one 140 cm bed, and one 80 cm bed(Folding bed). The house is cozy, bright, and fully equipped for a comfortable stay in every season.

One of the highlights of the property is the outdoor wellness area. Relax in the hot tub while enjoying panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains, or unwind in the outdoor sauna after a day of sightseeing and adventure. The peaceful setting makes it easy to slow down and enjoy the beauty of Icelandic nature.

The area is ideal for hiking, birdwatching, photography, and exploring the countryside. In summer, enjoy the endless daylight and long evenings by the lake. During winter, the location offers excellent opportunities to see the Northern Lights away from the city lights.

Although the cabin feels secluded and immersed in nature, it is located just 35 minutes from downtown Reykjavík. It is also an excellent base for exploring some of Iceland's most famous attractions, including the Golden Circle, Þingvellir National Park, geothermal areas, waterfalls, and black sand beaches on the South Coast.
