Beautiful house. Immaculately clean. Excellent entertainment including an Amazing pool. But a little annoying that there was no replacement toilet paper, paper towels or garbage bags. Also very uncomfortable in that the thermostat is locked with a PIN code. One night it was unseasonably cold and we could not turn up the heat. Two nights it was very Hot and we could not adjust the air conditioner. We sent a communication asking about how we could adjust the thermostat and we were ignored, which was very odd as the host had been very friendly and communicated responsively up to that point.

Hi Eric, as we pointed out to you when you asked about additional garbage bags, the house is rented on a self catering basis. It’s not a hotel. We supply you with a “starter” supply of all these things. And as you correctly state it was very unusual for us not to respond and the reason for that is that we did not get your message until an hour ago. After you had left. If it was urgent you could have called the management company or ourselves directly. As for adjusting the thermostat yes there is a PIN code but that is only in place when a user tries to adjust the cool below 72 or the heating above 85 to avoid damage to the system, but you can adjust it freely within these ranges. For 18 years we’ve never had a guest that was unable to adjust the system. Again if you had called the management company they would have assisted you but you didn’t. So we are very sorry that you felt you had to leave a lower star review as a result.

Great getaway

This was a beautiful home in a very pleasant and quiet neighbourhood. The hosts were very good with communicating and had lots of notes around the house to help answer quick questions. The pool was lovely and our family had a great time. It was also close to lots of shopping and the local attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful spot in Florida

We were a group of 4 adults staying at the property in February 2024 for 9 nights for a relaxing getaway. The home is in an excellent location, close to everything and a 5 minute drive to Publix, Walmart, and restaurants. Check in was a breeze and the owners were very quick to respond to any inquires The pool area was amazing, our favorite part of the house! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Christmas break

Had a lovely stay at Alan and Morag’s villa for a Christmas break. Location is great looked around the old town of Clermont one day , which was lovely. Had an issue with the pool heating , unfortunately, but Alan kept in touch and has said he will refund the cost as most of us didn’t get in! Villa was very easy to find and all contact with Alan and Morag very good. Thanks for having us!

Excellent family rental

Great communication from the owners. Great location close to disney parks. Very private pool area overlooking a pond. So much wildlife including a small alligator and 2 turtles. The kids just loved watching it. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious pool deck and outside sheltered dining area. Felt very safe area and house alarm with alert when outside doors opened. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic tv

We had a great family vacation. House was nice. 3 large beds which we need for our adult children. Minor issues with house that were quickly taken care of with emails or phone calls. Large projector tv in living room was a big hit. We will definitely consider staying again

Large villa with lovely outlook

The villa was large and spacious with nice pool area overlooking a lake. Very peaceful. Pool was a bit larger than others we have experienced at other villas in the area and was a nice temperature in May. Supermarkets nearby with some restaurants as well. Drive to Disney and Universal was a bit longer than expected with about a 30 minutes drive to Disney and 45 to Universal. Had an issue accessing the villa on arrival but the owner sorted this out quickly. Overall, we were happy with our stay and had no major issues.

Nice house

The house was very clean. The children loved the pool. It takes about 40 minutes to get to Disney because there is a lot of traffic. The only problem we had was that we couldn't program the air while we were there. It kept on going back to 81 and we had to keep lowering the temperature. Overall it was a great house.

Wonderful Family Holiday

We had a lovely stay here 6 Adults one toddler & the house was perfect, clean & comfortable. Very quiet & private location overlooking the lake. The alarm system was easy to use and made us feel safe & secure. Large outside area & a great pool which was screened off this was great for the safety of our 2 year old granddaughter. A great location not far from all the parks and 10 mins away from a citrus farm including a petting farm and large Monster Truck tour where you can feed the animals, including a friendly camel ! A huge Walmart just before you enter the estate and plenty of good places for food. We had great communication with the owners who responded to all our questions very quickly much appreciated.

Great rental home

The only drawback we had was the old refrigerator ice maker and the washing machine. The face towels could also been updated. There were plenty of pool towels but not enough face and hand towels. We had a limited supply for 8 guests. Otherwise the house was immaculate and had plenty of room.

Thank you for your feedback which is very helpful. The refrigerator is only a few years old and was in full working order when we left in May so that's worrying. We are replacing the washer in September. Sometimes the guests move towels around the villa. I will ask cleaners to relocate them in one place and will add to our supplies in The Fall. Best Vacation Ever

My family and my sisters family, (total of 9) rented this property for the week to visit all the Disney parks. When we arrived, all we could say was "wow!" This home is amazing, roomy enough for all of us, and all the amenities we could want. The drive to the Disney parks is a little longer than we thought (about 1/2 hour) but even when staying on Disney property, you can end up waiting that long for transporation back to your location, so it didn't bother any of us. If you pass up renting this property for your next stay, you don't know what you are missing. Owners are very kind and quick to respond. My family and I will definately rent this location again for our next trip to Florida.

This was the perfect "home base" for my family on our Disney vacation. It was very spacious and extremely clean. The pool was beautiful and well maintained and we loved the projector/television. The owners were very nice and responsive, and when we needed the property manager, they were very quick to help out as well. When we arrived, I noticed a small section of the screen room surrounding the pool had separated from the frame at the bottom, which allowed a few little critters into the pool area (the tiny little lizards). I called the property management company, texted them a picture, and they came out and fixed it. I don't even know when - it must have happened when we were out.The house was in a very nice neighborhood - not a high end area, but was really nice, quiet, and seemed very safe. We were about 30 minutes from the Disney them parks and water parks. Overall, a great place to stay and was as advertised.

Family Vacation

The home was very spacious. The big screen cinema room was very nice. The pool area is very large. There is plenty of seating outside. The owner was very quick to respond. They were great to work with, but if you call the management company with any questions they are not helpful and refer you to the owners. The kitchen was stocked but could use new frying pans. The king bedroom upstairs could use a new mattress or a mattress topper. The king bedroom downstairs was very comfortable. Property is close to Disney. This is a nice home for large families.

Don’t Hesitate Book Now!!!!

Wonderful Experience from the moment of communication with host. Property was a dream. We spent 7 days (3 adult 3 kids 6,7,9) and our children loved having such a large pool in the backyard. Was so nice to have such a beautiful view of the lake from the pool, and lots of sunshine!!! We utilized everything in the home. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could think of for all cooking needs! Really appreciated that since 95% of our meals were homemade. Plenty of towels, linens etc. Anything you could think of is there. Food storage containers, food cooler, first ad, plastic patio dishes..,.. We used Uber instead of a car and had no difficulty getting to Disney/Universal. This house was spotless, clean, modern and so spacious. Exactly as described. Excellent price point. Book Now, you won’t regret it.
