Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would say this place is "ok". Be aware that you have to drive to get to a pool until construction is done. When I rented this place, it said you could use the tower next door which is not true. The listing has been updated, but I just want to emphasize that you must drive to a pool. It could have been cleaner. I found 2 big dead moths that did not look fresh. My son found a piece of candy under the coffee table that I'm very happy he didn't put in his mouth. The living area just seems worn. The bedrooms were nice. Also be aware, there is NO BATH TUB if you are counting on that for kids. There's a bath in the pics, but both bathrooms have showers. The immediate view is construction just beyond the balcony. After that is nice. There's a lot of sand toys. The resort sets up a ton of chairs that take up a lot of beach. They are expensive to rent and would be behind all the people who set up closer to the water. You have to get out there early if you want hope of a spot. There' a vacuum which i really appreciated to pick up sand, but there's a yucky smoke smell that comes from it. I hope that helps anyone wanting to book a stay.

Friends vacation

Property was just like the pictures. Could use a little refresh. Great location. Elevators were very slow and some don’t work. All and all everything was great until we checked out and we received an extra fee for 750.00. The cleaning people said it smelled like cigarette smoke. No one smokes! We have received 500.00 back and will receive the rest once a supervisor can go check it out. That was a surprise.

Inaccurate condo description

We booked a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo. The condo we received had a nonfunctioning guest bathroom (when toilet was flushed it would overflow or it would fill up to the topand would take 2 hours for the warer to drain). The shower head also sprayed water out the front and back of shower so the floor would be soaked when using. Both of these were reported to rental agency and maintenance did come out but said a plumber would need to come out to fix problem. This did not occur during our visit (we stayed Sunday-Saturday). The rental agency did apologize but did not offer any type of compensation since the bathroom was not usable (they asked that we did not use until the problem could be fixed). This was very inconvenient for my family as we had to use public bathroom due to guest bathroom being broken and showers took forever as well. We only had 4 guests and i cannot imagine having six people stay in the condo with one working bathroom. I feel the rental description was inaccurate due to this problem.

Great place, super convenient

Clean and the property managers called to check on me every day to ask how things were. The shower handle was broken. And they let me know ahead of time and had someone out to fix it very quickly. Right on the beach, access was so convenient and the pool was great.

Good value for sandestin resort

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is easily accessible from parking lot and meet our needs for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo within the complex. Beachside Two is also conveniently located next to the pool/resturant, and tram/shuttle pick up. Only negative is the location of the unit to the dumpsters-one floor up and on the same side, so there was a little stink while walking to the room from the parking lot or pool. I would pick this unit again for the price.

Also the broken knob on the faucet that was broken but we managed . Also spent the last night with the air condition not working and when we called maintanance , we were told to open the doors and windows . There was nothing they could do . We turned it off and turned it on 2 hours later. Also there was a lot of mold in the shower. Fortunately , we are not allergic to it. Overall, it was a good trip.

We came back for a second time to this complex because we enjoyed it the first time so much. Unfortunately there was DOG hair everywhere!!!! I don’t mean a few pieces. We had it even in our luggage when we got home. This condo wasn’t a pet friendly condo and we wouldn’t have booked if so. We have a 6 year old that is very allergic!!! You could also tell where the dog use the bathroom on carpet and rugs. Same on the way this was handled

Long weekend.

Our condo was nice and clean. However, two things were issues for us. The pool was disappointing. There were no chairs with umbrellas and the area was unimpressive. The other was more serious. We had our 16 month old grandchild and I had to maneuver a stroller over steps. The elevator by our room was out of order and there are no ramps to the other elevator from our room. I do not know how a property these days can get away without being ADA compliant. I would not rebook for these 2 reasons.

Sandestin resort is beautiful. Place was not near as nice as others I have stayed at, Normally there is a guest book explaining how to get around (would have been nice especially with all of the construction) did not have access to the elevators. No suggestions on dining or activities, The condo itself had a horrible smell the entire time (musty moldy smell). There were lights that didn’t work and other small things that just gave the feeling of lack of care for the unit. Again, it was disappointing because other properties within the resort have been fabulous, for the same price. Had to lower the bar for expectations.

Nice condo, beach not so much

The condo which you pay for is very nice and well kept, no issues that I can recall. Its very spacious, if could use a cookware upgrade. The beach on the other had was awful, I have never experienced anything like it, you literally are sitting shoulder to shoulder with atleast 5,000 other people. I am guessing it the beach area for the entire complex. But the water was closed 5/6 days we were there. The pool area is nice and spacious, no one was hardly ever in it. The grill is one single charcoal grill. I reached out to the "My Vacation Haven" folks a few times and never got a response. The parking is nice though, you can park right outside the room.

I have already expressed my issues with leasing agent. When calling I never got responses to my issues. You should tell people there is a lot of construction going on so I know when I go out on balcony in the morning I am going to be greeted by machinery, etc. won’t go back.

Amazing property!

We stayed here with our young children and loved the space! The views were breathtaking, loved the quick and easy walk to the beach! The condo was clean and had everything for the beach we needed. The only downfall was the pool was closed due to construction on the building. I don’t recall seeing that on the description when I booked but we made the best of it and had excellent weather so spent most of the time at the beach. We would definitely book here again! Oh, and we loved that parlor donuts was just a short walk away!!!!
