This property exceeded our expectations! The home is decorated impeccably, and is in a fantastic location. The owners have thought of every convenience and comfort. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Cute house in a good location

Our family (two teenage boys) stayed here for a long weekend. Found it quiet and comfortable, and David was great to work with. Convenient check-in, free off-street parking, comfy beds. Website photos need updating - two views of the same bedroom makes it look like maybe there are three bedrooms! Outdoor patio is a terrific space to relax with a cup of coffee or glass of wine

FABULOUS!

The house was super adorable! It was a great residential neighborhood, just down Rose to the Beach or Abbott Kinney. We didn't need a car for great dining, bike riding, fabulous beach walks, and anything else you might need to do at the beach in LA. I highly recommend this house for couples, families, groups of girls or boys. Everyone would love it!

Fantastic home in a great location.

My husband and I, along with our 2 grown children and my mother-in-law, were in town for a wedding. We lived the beachy feel of the home, and found it to be very spacious. We slept comfortably, appreciated having 2 full bathrooms, and we loved the front patio. Booking, paying, checking in & out were all easy to do. David answered us immediately any time I contacted him. Will definitely rent from him again.

Nice place, nice location

The apartment was as described and very convenient for our family with its 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. The large terrace with BBQ was really a plus since we had all our meals there (otherwise the inside eating area is a bit small). We also really enjoyed the bar with the view on Rose avenue. Opportunity to watch funny people. There is a car parking lot coming with the house. Location is excellent, very close to the beach and to Venice area. Many nice bars and restaurants just around and a Whole Food supermarket not far. The communication with Patricia and David was easy. Check-in and out processes were very smooth. A great find, highly recommended !

Perfect for our needs!

We had a wedding to go to a couple of blocks away and this location made it easy. 5 family members comfortably shared the space and by splitting it that way we saved on hotel costs. For some, that 5th person might be too much as it required walking through a bedroom to get to a bathroom. We loved the patio and had meals out there several times. There are good restaurant options in easy walking distance. The beach is also an easy walk. This isn't in a perfect neighborhood - it is definitely urban with the quirks and grit that come with that. The fact that it has a designated parking spot is great, however this area gave us things to do without ever needing to have a car.

Great location and nice property--could use a few updates

The pros--amazing location, close to shops restaurants and an easy walk to the beach and Venice boardwalk. We only got in the car once while we were there. Overall, the unit is pleasant. There were a few things that were less than perfect. My guess is that they would be ok for most folks as long as you are aware of them going into it. First, the unit is nice, but we found the front room a little dark and a couple of items such as the shower doors and back slider could use an update. It also was frustrating that although the unit has a washer/dryer no detergent was provided, so we landed up buying a bottle that was much more than we needed. Hopefully, the next guests benefit from our purchase. Lastly, the location is amazing for its proximity to things, but just be aware that it is on a main strip mixed in with everything. The meditation center next door had a ceremony one night with drums and chanting that went until very late in the night and made it impossible to sleep. All in all it is a great unit if you want to be close to the action and the beach.

Amazing location! Would return

Location, Location, Location!!! This was the best part - we could walk to the beach, walk to shopping on Abbot Kinney Blvd, walk to Santa Monica Pier, walk to the office where husband was working, walk to almost where ever we wanted to go! And we had 1 parking space for the car so when we did go somewhere far, the car was handy. The beds are the super soft foam beds. There's a kitchen that seemed adequate (we abandoned our plan to cook and went out to eat instead). The wi-fi worked great when we were home. I peaked into the closet in the smaller bedroom and saw that they had a pack and play and some other baby friendly things. The house was also nice and quiet. If you have mobility issues, be aware that the "master" bed is without a box spring so it sits about 18 inches off the ground. Not a problem for me, but I know some older people wouldn't be able to get in and out of the bed. We came in the early spring and it was a bit chilly. There are space heaters to heat the bedrooms, but the one in our room was so noisy when it kicked on/off that we ended up not using it during the night. The door to the patio did not work well at all. It was very hard to open for me (although my husband didn't seem to have a problem with it)! Overall, I would stay here again next time we come to town.

Perfect Location!

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. It is located among many shops, restaurants, and a Whole Foods. It is within walking distance of Venice Beach and the Santa Monica Pier. The outside porch area is the best part of all. We spent our mornings there enjoying our coffee. It is fairly roomy (3 of us stayed there). We had very spotty WiFi which seemed to be out of the owner’s control. There are issues about using toilet paper in the toilet which we weren’t made aware of until right before we arrived. The owner replies to any message almost immediately.

Patio became my Favorite Space

Everything was seamless when dealing with the property owners, and we had a very relaxing experience. While the property will sleep 6, I think 4 would be the most comfortable. The two rooms were roomy enough, and having the two bathrooms was great. We quickly found the outside patio to be our favorite place to hang out, eat, play cards, read, and even take an afternoon nap. We didn't use the kitchen much because there was great food very close by. The burgers at the American Beauty Win-Dow were great, and breakfast at Flake, anytime at La Fiesta Brava and don't miss the ice-cream at Jeni's. There were several other bar/restaurants that looked really interesting but since we were traveling with kids, we didn't try. The walk to the beach was farther than I'd imagined, but very do-able. Lots of scooters and bikes were available but we didn't get those either. We had a great time. Thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was cozy and clean and reasonably priced. Close to beach and restaurants. We had four adults in our party and had adequate room. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Which was very private and convenient.

You can’t go wrong staying here! Easy walk to the beach and you are right between Venice and Santa Monica. Two great bedrooms, comfortable beds, love the patio!! Super hosts as well! Oh and, we so appreciate Pete are welcome. We’ll be back for sure!!

Great location with accessibility to restaurants bars shops etc etc. Electric scooters are an awesome way to get around! Down load the Bird scooter app and you are all set. Apartment is as advertised and the private patio is really really great.

Convenient location close to beach

Our family of 5 with 3 school aged kids enjoyed our 3 night stay. Walked to beach twice (beach towels provided) and to several restaurants. Apartment was a bit small but clean and comfortable and we loved the outdoor patio. Even had a upper sitting area to just sit and have a drink or people watch. In a neighborhood with a mix of several commercial properties as well as other residential properties, but we felt safe. Drive to places in LA was fairly convenient too.

Nice apartment in a great location!

We were in L.A. for a friends wedding and stayed here with another couple. It was a nice place with a great outdoor space to relax and had the added benefit of parking and laundry. We enjoyed our stay and were able to easily walk to the boardwalk and some great places to eat in the neighborhood.

Great location: just as pictured

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy home about 4 blocks from the beach and boardwalk. Great location and walkable to everything. The home was clean and well appointed. I traveled with three older teens and my husband and found it a little small for a party our size but we still had a blast. The futon-like couch does lay flat for a third bed but it’s tight for the 5th person. We had a few questions while we were there and the owners were very responsive. Loved the outdoor table to eat and play games at. Thanks for a great stay!
