Unité 1

Notre unité de coin DIRECT OCEANFRONT (# 1) a sa propre plage à seulement 27 pas de la véranda (patio). Cette unité de fin (personne au-dessous de vous ou au-dessus de vous) a ajouté l'intimité comprenant un secteur herbeux tranquille. Vivez des couchers de soleil tout au long de l'année et laissez le son des vagues vous détendre. Depuis la véranda, la chambre du bord de mer et même la douche à l'étage, vous pourrez observer les tortues vertes qui paissent sur les rochers, les dauphins qui sautent (généralement les matins) et les baleines à bosse ).

Nous sommes directement sur une plage de sel et de poivre. À l'extrémité nord, beaucoup de mares avec des créatures et des pétroglyphes. A l'extrémité sud plus proche, à marée haute si les vagues sont calmes, alors snorkelers expérimentés et en forme (avec un pote, jamais seul!) peut trouver une variété de vie marine. Cependant, si un novice et / ou les mers sont plus rudes, alors la plage de l'état de Kahaluu (juste ~ 5 minutes de marche au nord de notre baie) est pleine de vie marine et d'un endroit plus sûr.

Les deux chambres ont des lits King Cal. Le salon a un canapé et un siège d'amour, 42 "HDTV, lecteur DVD / BluRay, et système audio (avec prise et ports USB). Haut débit WiFi gratuit et téléphone (local, U. S., Canada, Mexique, Chine, et de l'UE). Cuisine entièrement équipée pour des repas simples ou élégants. Nous fournissons beaucoup d'extras: shampoing et conditionneur, détergent à lessive, savon à vaisselle, serviettes de plage, matériel de plongée, glacière, boogie boards, chaises de plage, etc. Cette unité est immergée au bord de la mer avec de larges fenêtres en jalousie laissant la brise de la mer et les sons dériver sur vous aussi facilement que la lumière des couchers de soleil ou des rayons de lune (ventilateurs de plafond, pas de climatisation).

Lieu: Notre maison de ville est située dans Keauhou-Kona Surf & Racquet Club, une communauté privée fermée de 16 acres ~ 5 miles au sud du centre-ville de Kona. Le complexe propose 3 courts de tennis éclairés de qualité professionnelle (avec accès professionnel), une grande piscine, un terrain de volley-ball, des trous pour barbecue et des barbecues à gaz. Les jardins sont luxuriants avec de belles fleurs. Nous sommes également à distance de marche du Kona Country Club pour le golf (tarifs réduits si vous êtes un invité du Surf & Racquet Club) et du centre commercial de Keauhou avec épiceries et pharmacies, restaurants, salle de cinéma et une clinique médicale sans rendez-vous… Le samedi matin, visitez le marché de leurs agriculteurs avec des produits locaux, du café Kona, des fleurs et du poisson. Notre emplacement est pratique pour explorer la grande île ou simplement vous détendre près de la mer!

NO AIR CONDITIONING With temperatures in the mid to high 80s and very high humidity during the month of May, this unit got uncomfortably hot during the day even with every fan available turned up high. To return to this townhome after the day's activities to change for dinner found it very hot and stuffy. The unit did cool down starting before sunset with a nice cool ocean breeze, and sleeping was comfortable with the windows open.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The unit has a beautiful ocean view, and being able to hear the waves from the bedrooms at night—and even while showering upstairs—made the stay feel extra peaceful. The community is very quiet with lush, well‑kept grounds that add to the relaxing atmosphere.There’s no air conditioning, but the cross‑breeze with the windows open was lovely for us. Still, it’s something to consider depending on personal comfort. The location is great too: close to grocery stores and restaurants, yet far enough from the busy tourist areas to feel calm and private. We especially loved spending quiet mornings on the lanai.We did experience one unusual night where guests in another unit next door were extremely loud and inebriated late into the evening, yelling, cursing and drinking on their lanai. With the windows open it was definitely disruptive, but the host/property manager handled it quickly, and it didn’t happen again. Parking was easy, close by, and made coming and going simple.It was just my husband and me on this trip, and we would absolutely recommend this place for a peaceful getaway. I can’t speak in detail about all the kitchen utensils since I bring my own due to a gluten allergy, but there were items available, and the provided soap and shampoo were a nice touch. My only small suggestion would be to include basics like salt and pepper.Overall, a lovely and calming place to stay.

My family had a magical stay here. So close to the beach, a great location with everything we needed, friendly neighbors, the pool was a great option when we (our kids) needed a break from sandy beaches. We really loved it and would definitely come back again!

Lanai provided a beautiful view, steps to a nice little beach. BBQ's were close, and not busy. The tide pools nearby were interesting to explore. Shopping center up the hill was handy, with a great shave ice place. Condo was in a great location, we'd definitely stay again.

Quiet townhome in the beach

We loved our week at the house. Everything went smoothly and it was so nice and quiet. The adjacent snorkeling beach park happened to be closed all week for coral sponing, but nearby magic sands was open as were other snorkeling beaches.

Best Place to Stay in the Big Island

This is our 2nd time staying here and it will not be our last. If you are on the Big Island, this is where you want to be. Oceanview from Lanai, Pool and Tennis Courts as well as a great place to stay. There is a Shopping plaza with a grocery store, Movie theater, drug store and a bunch of restaurants all in walking distance. There is a beach footsteps from the townhouse great for watching sunsets and exploring the tide pools. We look forward to staying here on our next trip. Thank you for another amazing stay.

Overall loved this property. Location was excellent. Walking distance to restaurants and grocery store, on a beach with great tide pool exploring—but also not right in the middle of Kona/tourist congestion. We saw yellow tang, starfish, sea urchins (lots! Beware!) and even a Hawaiian monk seal on the beach outside the townhouse. It was a perfect spot for our family of 4 (kids ages 5 and 8). The grounds of the complex are beautiful and the pool was a short walk. It’s an excellent pool for small kids, with a 1 ft deep area. The house seemed adequately accommodated in the kitchen and there were boogie boards and beach chairs. Only a little glitch in our stay—the planned exterminator coming for their quarterly spray, but we ended up heading to Hilo that day to visit the Volcanos, so all worked out. We would definitely stay here again.

This home is an absolute gem!

There is so much to share about this home! First, the location is incredible - to open the backdoor and feel the ocean breeze was so wonderful! Our family loved looking at the tide pools and seeing reef fish at high tide! We were a short drive from so many amazing beaches and places. The house was fully loaded with everything we needed, including things like a mini beach cooler, snorkels, tennis/pickleball rackets, beach chairs...we didn't need to buy a thing to be very comfortable! We can't wait to come back - this house was a key part of why we loved Kona so much!

Beautiful stay in paradise

We had another great visit to KSRC - our favorite place to stay on the Big Island! We have stayed in a couple of different units here over the years and this is definitely one we would return to. Well maintained, amazing view, close proximity to the little adjacent beach as well as the pool - perfection! Loved laying in bed and watching/listening to the ocean waves. When we needed help with a fan in the unit that wasn't working, the property manager was quick to respond. Definitely recommend. Aloha and Mahalo!

Location

If I could give the location more than 5 stars... I 100% would! The condo is steps from a beautiful beach with really neat tide pools and we saw several sea turtles feeding in the mornings. We also saw dolphins a couple times. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There is a farmers market a couple minutes drive. We enjoyed our stay!

Great view and short walk to beach

The place had a great ocean front view. The beach was less than 50 yards away, The beach is great for tide pooling and snorkeling, not so much for swimming. The place is does not have A/C. The first night was a little warm, but the remaining nights were cooler.

Location, location, location!

We had an amazing stay in this unit in Keauhou, which is away from the tourist bustle of Kona, but close and convenient to everything. Direct access to a nice beach right off the lanai with soothing ocean sounds all day and night. No AC, but we didn’t miss it with all the fans bringing in the ocean breezes. They provide virtually all the amenities, including beach gear for your day adventures. We stopped at Costco on our way from the airport and stocked up to cook for our entire week’s stay and had pretty much all we needed in the kitchen for evening meals on the lanai. Would definitely love to come back!

Great Find

Still can't believe how great of a find this was. Amazing view and great location. I loved watching all the people staying in other units walk past our front door to go sit on the adjacent salt and pepper beach to watch the sunset. All we had to do was walk out onto the lanai! The unit was equipped with everything we needed and more, and served as a great starting point for all the places we wanted to go and all the things we wanted to do. Can't wait to return.

Very pretty location - great views from the downstairs lanai, main upstairs bedroom and bathroom of the cove where on last day yellow fish surfed the waves in their hundreds - no need for snorkeling! Kitchen fully stocked in a very cute smallish townhouse. No dining room or kitchen bar; only outside lanai patio dining set - bring or buy bug spray for evenings. Daytimes have minimal bugs in December, more at night. Close to Longs and restaurants up the road. Very close to one of best snorkeling beaches in Hawaii.

Great location with spectacular view.

The location of this unit is its best feature. Right on the ocean, we woke up each morning to a great view right from our bed and fell asleep to the sounds of gentle waves each night. The unit is well equipped with everything you could need. Binoculars for whale spotting, we saw two from our lanai, snorkeling gear, beach chairs and coolers. Made our trip very easy. The unit could use a little updating, but definitely serves its purpose. We like to stay on the fringe of the action and this was a great location. Not far from the hustle of Kona, grocery store within a half mile and a great snorkeling beach within walking distance.
