Superbe maison face à l'océan

"Propre, fraîche, simple", cette jolie maison est à quelques pas de la plage. Admirez la vue magnifique depuis le salon au premier étage (meublé d'un canapé-lit queen) et la salle à manger avec des sièges pour 12 personnes. Profitez de la cuisine magnifiquement conçue avec des appareils Bosch et un îlot central, entièrement meublée avec tous les besoins de cuisine et de service. Une chambre privée avec un lit king et une salle de bain avec douche complète le premier niveau. Le deuxième étage, avec des vues encore plus incroyables, comprend une chambre principale face à l'océan avec lit king et salle de bain attenante. La deuxième chambre face à l'océan avec lit queen, partage un bain jack et jill avec la quatrième chambre, meublée avec 2 ensembles de lits superposés. Une buanderie avec laveuse et sécheuse de capacité commerciale complète le niveau supérieur.

Maison équipée de téléviseurs en streaming à écran plat dans la salle familiale et toutes les chambres, WiFi haut débit et lecteur Blue Ray avec une variété de films, ainsi qu'un assortiment de puzzles, de jeux et de livres pour le plaisir de la famille. Sortez de chaque niveau sur de grands ponts et admirez la vue imprenable. Le pont supérieur est partiellement couvert pour l'ombre ou pour les bains de soleil. La grande terrasse au niveau principal est équipée de petites tables et chaises pour se détendre et admirer l'océan. Commencez ou terminez la journée sur le pont de conversation octogonal avec vue sur l'océan, avec des sièges intégrés.

One of the best beach houses we've stayed in! The layout was perfect, all of the necessities provided, and the location on Oak Island is perfect. The upper deck is the perfect sundown watching spot (I love the orientation of this island (east/west). Our party of six adults had plenty of room the spread out and feel at home.

This was our 2nd year in a row staying here. House is the right size. Deck on back has the right amount of sun and shade.Vance was great to work with.

Family Beach Week 2022

Our vacation was fabulous. The house was perfect. Everything was so convenient- especially all the outdoor sand rinsing options! The decks are amazing. Kitchen has everything you need and the large table was so nice for family meals. Easy access to the beach. We loved our stay at Work Will Wait.

Awesome Beach House

Our entire family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beach house. Totally equipped with everything you would need for your stay. The location is perfect, all homes and no commercial properties. The house was extremely clean and well kept. The Owner was quick to respond and very nice. We really had a beautiful vacation. Thank you so much.

A Nice Relaxing stay

We absolutely loved staying here. Mr.Whicker was extremely welcoming. Vance was so helpful with recommending places to visit and places to eat! Also, recommending the best fresh Seafood market Haag's. We visited and purchased from twice and had a wonderful feast. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The best we've slept in a long time. Oak island is a peaceful area and not fast paced. Very Relaxing and friendly. We loved our stay and highly recommended it. Especially recommending you stay at this location ! feast.

Beautiful, new and clean

This home was tasteful, functional and beautiful. We were very comfortable, having everything we needed and then some. The access to the beach is right off the deck, and the views from the deck are breathtaking. The house is in new, excellent condition, constructed from high-quality materials, thoughtfully furnished and well-equipped with choice appliances. We were only able to stay a couple of nights, but will be back to stay here again as soon as possible.

Wonderful Memories

The house is wonderful and has everything you would need for your stay. We had plenty of room for 5 adults and 4 children. It was very clean and well kept. Oak Island is a wonderful place to visit as well. We were close to any place we needed to go such as a grocery store, some restaurants or a doughnut shop : ) The beaches weren't crowded (and we went over 4th of July) and it was just a wonderful relaxing trip. We definitely have plans to return to Work Will Wait.

Very nice

We had a great week. House is lovely and well-equipped. Our only minor complaints were the lack of space in the downstairs bedroom (a Queen bed would fit better) and having to duck under the boardwalk to get to the beach. (I hit it with my face on the last day!) We also had some trouble controlling the downstairs thermostat but we made it work. But the short distance to the beach was fantastic. The large upper and lower decks were wonderful. Would definitely rent again.

Family Reunion 2017

Needed a house to accommodate 7 adults plus a baby. This house pretty much met our expectations with just a few exceptions. Location is excellent & even though it was peak season, the beach was not crowded. West Beach Rd is busy but the sound of the crashing waves drowns out the road noise. Dolphin and Pelican roads are better for jogging and biking. We are "foodies" and the kitchen was large and well equipped with even a hand mixer and lg crock pot. Fridge is very large. Be sure to bring a few dish towels as the linen service did not supply them. There is a nice large dining table perfect for family meals and card games. The living area is on the small side but the 2 very spacious decks with high quality furniture make up for this. The decks are gated for small children. We enjoy building puzzles and there is not a coffee table to do this. Had to improvise using a sheet of plywood. There were several rainy days so this was a big deal for us. The house is newer, clean and nicely furnished. Bedrooms and baths are adequate as well as the laundry. The spacious outdoor shower was the best! It should be noted that when we travel, we usually try to find a little quiet nock for the babies Pack and Play. Even a walk in closet or laundry room will work. This house does not have that. The bunk room is perfect for older children but there is no quiet place for a baby. My bad for not inquiring first. Other then that, its is a great beach rental and we would recommend it highly.

Great Property

We loved our week stay at Work Will Wait. It was very clean and well equipped. The starter kit of toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, laundry and dishwasher packets were so helpful. The beds were comfortable. Jackie was easy to work with and responded to my questions in a timely manner.

Pure Relaxation

Communication with the owner was exceptional! Upon entering the house, there was a small welcome package containing cleaning supplies. Also, each bathroom had liquid hand soap. This might be a small thing, but it just shows the courtesy of the owners. Simple, but welcoming! The house was exactly as pictured. We had two infants (one 4 months and one 15 months) so we had two pack and plays. One was very easily set up in the master bedroom. The other one was a bit tighter in another bedroom, but we were able to make it work (and no fault of the property since the second infant was a surprise after our reservations were made). The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We loved that everyone could sit at one table for eating. The decks on this house are unbelievable. When we weren't sitting on the beach or in the water, we were sitting on the decks. The outside shower was great for washing on the sand. This kept everyone from tracking sand into the house. What a great addition! We would definitely stay here again!

Great Vacation

This was our first time vacationing at Oak Island and we loved it. The house was perfect for our family. We loved sitting out on the deck and rocking in the rocking chairs. The views were amazing. We are already looking forward to coming back next year!

Just what was needed

A fabulous property overlooking the ocean, Work Will Wait provided us exactly what we needed! We could enjoy the beautiful, well-stocked kitchen for a meal at home or visit any one of several fabulous restaurants within a 20 - 25 min drive. The views from the house were spectacular. Our visit here was truly nourishing for the soul!

This was our second vacation at Work Can Wait. The home is very well kept, and furnished.

The home sits right on the beach with huge decks for relaxing, enjoying the nice ocean breeze, and watching the sunrises and sunsets. The beach is just a few steps away so you can just go for a short stroll or make day of it. The owners go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. You won't be disappointed.
