Amazing location! Pool area was very nice and loved how easy it was to get to the beach. Condo was nice and clean. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Awesome place, right on Gulf and nicely remodeled!

Excellent place with all amenities! Great location! A very minor issue with parking pass but otherwise a perfect place to stay in Gulf Shores!!

Perfect location, I've stayed at Boardwalk many times over the past years, the location can't be beat. The only issue is very limited parking Thanks again.

Our stay was awesome. My partner is Bosnian and has never been to the sands of Gulf Shores until 2 months ago, she fell in love and immediately wanted to bring kids back. So we found this place on VRBO and it was perfect. Clean, stocked, location and budget friendly. I will definitely be back to THIS place when and if its available for our next trip. Previously they had only visited Myrtle, PCB and Daytona and they said GS beach was much better and more family friendly.

Black Mold and Damage to Property

There is black mold on the ceilings. The air has a foul odor, the balcony door does not work, half of the lights in the unit do not work, there is dust caked on the vents, the floor is unbelievably dirty, the first bathroom bathtub does not function properly, one of the vents in the unit had fallen out onto the ground. The owner will not give me my security deposit back and has now charged me TWICE for it for no reason. We did nothing to this property, we tried to barely stay in it. All photos were taken on entry. I do not recommend staying here. Ever.

Great location for family of teens during spring break

This condo was very clean and cozy. For this short trip, we enjoyed the location beside the Sea-n-Suds because we had teenagers and it made for convenience. However, the sea gulls were very loud and a nuisance and the view of the gulf was just "okay." The owners of this condo were amazing to work with and met our every need. We will definitely consider staying here again with teens during spring break.

Needing Updates & Deep Cleaning

Location was great and close to everything. Property owners were very nice and very responsive. Condo was in need of a deep cleaning as the tubs were dirty, was not dusted in a long time, condo was hard to cool even when we had the curtains pulled all day long in living and bedroom. Very dusty and floors needed to be swept.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful time during our stay in Gulf Shores! The location of the condo was great - we could walk to many of the restaurants, etc. And the view from the first floor porch is amazing! The heated pool was great, especially because the weather was a little cool. Our six year old son had a blast and was in the pool everyday. There are some needed upgrades to the condo, but nothing major and they certainly didn't hinder our stay. The owners were easy to work with and easily accessible when we had questions. Overall a great place to stay!

Great stay

The condo was clean and as advertised. Location is perfect and in walking distance of The Hangout. Sea n studs is the property. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Check in was a breeze! The only one minor thing is the door to the balcony is hard to open. Could be easily fixed. And the owners are hard to slow to respond. We will stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful week!!

There were a few things in the unit that could’ve been a little nicer, but just had to wear and tear of the whole summer probably on it. We was a little disappointed in the security system or the security guards around the property. They were very overzealous about the pool rules we’ve stayed there several times over the years and the idea that you can’t go down the deck after 10 o’clock you can’t do anything on the deck at per se, though cornhole toss a football frisbee play with your kids with toys or just that whole huge large deck was unused might’ve been eight people on it all weekend when we were there and the security guards were just like Gestapo, but we love that area We love the ability to go see inside, but when my wife can’t lay in a pool on a raft when it’s 90 there’s something a little off. They did not allow any rats or anything in the pool at all except for infant kids. That’s something you should look at a little common sense rules around the deck in full according to how many people are there or what’s going on I understand middle of this summer. There might be some issues where it’s too crowded to do anything and you don’t want the whole pool full raft I understand but That wasn’t the situation in September. One of the reasons we go in September.

Great Location and great views

This was our first visit to Gulf Shores and our first time renting for a month. We stayed at this condo for the month of Feb. From the moment we walked in and saw the view from the balcony we were captivated. We spent mornings watching the dolphins and afternoons just soaking up the warmth from the sun. We also spent many hours walking the beaches. We did a lot of exploring of the local parks and sightseeing attractions. The condo was clean and very comfortable and we felt very much at home. We had a couple of mechanical issues during our stay but were very pleased that the owners responded immediately to have the issues resolved.

Just what we'd hoped for!

The condo was adorable, clean, well-stocked and in a TERRIFIC location. We could see our kids just down below, playing in the pool, or easily look out from the deck and see that they'd safely made it to our spot on the beach. Sea and Suds was our favorite place to hang when we weren't soaking up sun or chilling in the cool of the condo. Would LOVE to go back to this exact place next year. (Next week, for that matter.) Lots of great activities in the area, so easily a great spot for any type of outing you may be in the market for. We were there during my daughter's 14th birthday. I asked if she was having fun... her response, "I think I'm in heaven!"

Not as described - needs lot of maintenance!

While decor was fairly nice, there was a page & half of issues - could not use door to balcony from living area- curtain rod pulled out of wall - drapes could not be pulled at night in front of beach restaurant- no privacy! Door to balcony from bedroom also had issues but could use it. Owner requests renter inspect & sdvise issues - we submitted list and response was “thanks”….nothing fixed during stay. Boardwalk maintenance was going to send maintenance person to fix door but never did. Boardwalk pool area has many boards with screw heads up - boards not even - trip hazards. Carts to transport belongings to room were not clean. (This is bldg HOA). Owners cleaning & maintenance crew have certainly let him down - place was definitely not worth the fees!

Great Location

The condo is in the heart of Gulf Shores, great location for activities and restaurants. Very clean, and secure there was always an attendant in the parking lot. The heated pool is wonderful if traveling when it's a little bit cooler. Loved being able to have my coffee in the morning on the deck over looking the water. The condo was tastefully decorated, which made us feel right at home.

Last minute rental.

We wanted to stop in Gulf Shores on our way home from Ft Myers for a few days. I checked for last minute rentals and this was right on the beach in an area we have stayed before and liked. On the beach, heated pool and great food next door. The building is one of the older ones in the area but worked for us.

Very, Very Disappointed

I've been staying in Gulf Shores for nearly 30 years. I've never written a review that was negative, but there's always a first, and this is my first. After emailing multiple times to ask if we could check in an hour or two early, if the apartment was ready I finally got a favorable response - "sure, if the apartment was clean." We got there at 4:00, check in was at 3:00. The apartment had two garbage bags in the hallway, beds were unmade and the tabletops, counters and floors were covered in dirt/sand. I called the owners because their number was taped to the wall and was told they were sorry, but they were on their way. Keep in mind, it's 4:00, check in was at 3:00. Evidently the cleaning person was a no show. The owners were polite and immediately began cleaning. I commented that the floors were covered in sand and the lady's response was, yeah that's what happens at the beach. Unfortunately, when they left, and we came back into the apartment, the floors had not been swept or mopped. But, that was only the beginning. The sofa and ottoman had been replaced with a love seat and ottoman, both of which were filthy and stained. There was not one chair in the living room with arms. There was a table with four dining chairs and two dining chairs on either side of the armoire with the television. There was no ice maker, no ice trays, no bagged ice - no ice. There was no hot water. The ceiling is cracked, which is a little unnerving after what happened to the older condo in Miami. After multiple emails asking when I should expect to receive my deposit back (which nobody asks for a deposit anymore) I finally got a reply that it would be processed on 8/8. We left the apartment on 7/25. I actually received it on 8/9 - 15 days after we left. To put this in comparison with other complexes...I'm returning to the Gulf Shores area next week. I'll be staying at Turquoise Place and my rate is $10 less per night than it was at the Boardwalk. Compare the two. There is no comparison. In good conscious I would not recommend this unit to anyone, ever. It's dirty, dated, there's no ice or hot water and parking is a nightmare. If you're going in the peak summer months and looking for an inexpensive stay, stay home if this is your only option. It's not worth it...not by any stretch of the imagination. Absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt the worst VRBO I've ever paid for since the inception of VRBO in 1995.

The Gulf brought us such peace and joy with each visit that when we finally decided to tie the knot, we did so right on the very beach in front of this condo! Bringing our families and lives together where it all started made it the trip of a lifetime.
The Gulf has quickly made its way into our hearts and has made leaving it harder with every stay. Wisconsin’s white winters have nothing on the Gulf’s white beaches so… we packed up and moved down! We are able to accommodate our guests every needs ourselves while living our dream life together in paradise.

We love that this property is directly on the beach. You can take a stroll on the beach and arrive at one three great restaurants within a half mile to the West as well the State pier which is located within a 15 minute walk to the East on the beach.

There is a gift shop located on the ground level and the Sea N Suds restaurant is located a few yards from the building directly on the beach. There are music festivals every May at the Hangout located 5 blocks down the beach or if you just want to enjoy some reggae music on the beach, the Pink Pony is a nice restaurant/Bar where you can have a bite to eat and enjoy the beautiful weather on their inviting deck.
