There were 3 of us, and we loved this apartment. It was spacious, very clean and nicely furnished. We were thrilled to have 2 bathrooms, each with a shower, and the water pressure was great! The kitchen had a refrigerator, electric stovetop, microwave, and convection oven. Both the host and concierge were gracious and helpful. If you’re reading this, a big thanks to you both!

the apt is spotless with fresh towels, coffee and all household supplies- utencils plates cups glasses etc. and all cooking gear (altho we didn't cook). big sunlit windows with black out drapes. all info was emailed prior to arrival and we were met with owners "sitter" who showed us how everything worked. had a wonderful comfortable stay. merci!!!

Beautiful home in an inviting neighborhood!

Marie-Laure's flat in the Opera-Louvre area is outstanding. It is exactly as the pictures on the listing. Close to the metro, restaurants, shopping and museums. There is a small lift that was great, especially at the end of a long day exploring. My brother, mother and I spent 8 nights and truly felt at home. We really enjoyed being part of such a special neighborhood. There was nothing that we missed, as Marie-Laure provides a well appointed home. We hope to visit again.

The sheets and bed pillows were made of rough fabrics and the pillow covers weren’t for a bed.They were for a couch instead.In the late afternoon the whole apartment smelled like food from the resto next door

Thank you Claire, I understand your disappointment and bitterly regret that you didn't tell me about it, as it could have been adjusted simply and quickly. Especially as you contacted me regularly throughout your stay and never mentioned this. There are many other sheets and pillows available in many different materials (linen, cotton etc.). I didn't have any information about the smells, so I couldn't do anything about it. As you will see, the ratings before and after you are excellent. In any case, I am sincerely sorry.

Comfortable apartment, great location

This apartment met all our preferences for a long stay. Spacious, comfortable furnishings, good wash-dryer, well fitted out kitchen, well supplied paper goods, and elevator.Beautiful moldings through out. Interesting floor plan - encompasses the entire floor and wraps around the spiral staircase. The location is central - 5 minutes to the Louvre, another 10 across to the D'orsay. There is a 2 line Metro stop a block away, Line 1 and the RER C a short walk. Bakeries around every corner and the Monoprix on Ave Opera for all other foods and essentials. We would definitely book here again - if I can convince my husband to continue taking trans Atlantic flights!

Wonderful Apartment!

Such a lovely apartment! It is was a very clean, light, bright and comfortable living space that included all of the amenities to make us feel at home. The host that greeted us was friendly and helpful. Marie, the homeowner, was very attentive and responded quickly to all the inquiries we had. We absolutely loved the beautiful crown molding and detailing in the walls and mirrors and especially the green plants sprinkled throughout the apartment. The flat was walking distance to many popular tour sites, cafes and restaurants. There was also a small market with fresh fruits & vegetables just a block away that had everything we needed including wine & champagne. :) The breeze that passed from the front to the back of the apartment in the evenings was wonderful and very welcome after a long day of site seeing. Mornings could be a bit noisy in the front bedroom from the bin pick-ups and morning traffic but after closing the windows it was much quieter so we could sleep a bit longer. My mother stayed in the back room & kept windows open and never heard a thing. Thank you Marie! My mother and I enjoyed our trip to Paris and loved this delightful flat! We hope to be back soon some day. Would highly recommend to everyone!!! ~ Lisa & Mary

Très belle location

Dans le Centre historique, à proximité de tout (Louvre, Opéra, Palais Royal,...). On se sent rapidement comme si l'on était chez soi. Tout est prévu pour le quotidien. Je n'hésiterai pas à renouveler si l'occasion venait à se représenter.

Location!

The location is terrific. Close to the Louvre and great shopping. There are a ton of cafes although those within 2 blocks are mostly Asian food. Beyond the 2 blocks and it opens to a lot of variety. It is a bit noisy at night as the street is very lively. The unit is cute and has everything you need. The owner is delightful and very helpful in all respects, and while there are some of the owners possessions around it is very minimal and you can make it your own. But above all you just can’t beat the location.

Perfect in every way

My stay was delightful. I loved this location and how close it is to The Louve as well as shopping. It’s safe and very spacious and lots of natural light! The windows are large and there are two separate decks to stand out in and watch the people down below in all the restaurants. It was perfect!

"Nos hemos encontrado con un piso muy acogedor, parecía que estuviéramos en casa de un amigo, muy agusto. La propietaria, Marie-Laure ha sido tambien muy amable y acogedora. Nos ofreció de todo. El piso es antiguo con los techos artesonados, cada cuarto con su chimenea, su planta, todo tan blanco como se ve en las fotos. La situación es fantástica, a un paso del Louvre y la calle llena de garitos japoneses para una cena improvisada."

Très calme et parfaitement sûr - de jour comme de nuit - vous y trouverez de nombreux commerces pour faire vos courses ( supermarché, boulangerie, épiceries ) et des centaines de restaurants pour découvrir la gastronomie française ou japonaise quel que soit votre budget !
