This turned out to be a perfect choice for our stay in Edinburgh. The location is wonderful with delightful shops, great restaurants (and pubs) and the fun Sunday market steps away. The owner made everything easy and welcomed us with fresh fruit and flowers. Lovely.

The place was great. The second bedroom is a little smaller to fit more than one suitcase but that was the only slight inconvenience. The location is fabulous. Walkable to anything except maybe old town and right next to the bus stop for when you’d like to use that. Laura’s helpful and kind. I’d stay here again.

This is a spacious, 2 bedroom apartment in Stockbridge, a quiet neighborhood about an extra 10 minutes from the crowds of the castle area. Note that there are 3 flights of stairs to climb to the unit. The apartment is sunny and comfortable, and the nearby pubs and restaurants were great - no need to leave the neighborhood! Loved the little gas fireplace. Laura was a kind and helpful host, and thoughtful enough to provide coffee, tea, fruit and a bag of crisps for us. Would happily stay there again when in Edinburgh.

We had a wonderful stay overall. The location was absolutely perfect - Stockbridge is a charming neighborhood, and it was easy to walk to great restaurants, shops, and attractions while still enjoying a quieter atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always responded very quickly whenever we had a question, which we really appreciated. The only downsides for us were the lack of air conditioning and the beds. We happened to visit during a warmer stretch of weather, so the apartment became quite stuffy. The mattress also seemed well worn. We could feel the springs and it sagged towards the center, making it difficult to get a comfortable nights sleep.Despite those issues, we enjoyed our stay and are grateful to the hosts for their hospitality. The excellent location and responsive hosts made it a great base for exploring Edinburgh.
