For our first ever visit to the Keys, we enjoyed our camping stay at Remedy’s Key. The campground is great and we were able to kayak, bike ride, and explore the beauty of the area. Jorge and Ilya are responsive hosts providing a welcome gift of wine, fresh fruit and cookies!

It’s an adorable Ket West Vibe/ older RV with a few quirks but very clean and comfortable. Great outside patio area perfect for grilling and relaxing! The owners are very communicative and available to help with anything you need! Very kind and friendly people. We had a great stay!

Cozy get away in Key Largo

Camper had everything we need we were traveling with an 18 month old child and host provided us a stroller and playpen that made everything much easier I would recommend this to anybody else it was looking for a place to stay in the keys

Spring Break 2025

It was a great family vacation. Calusa is located conveniently in Key Largo and the neighborhood amenities were excellent.We enjoyed the pool, kayaking, security, the golf cart and the beautiful outdoor living patio. Jorge is an amazing host and was very focused on our vacation experience.

Unique Hidden Gem

This small and unique hidden gem was really an amazing last-minute find. We booked it and received truly amazing communication from the owners! We were not sure what to expect but we would absolutely stay here again! Sure, the property is older and slightly worn, but it was clean, comfortable, and easy. For the price, I feel like this was easily more competitive than area hotels. Great location, great owners, great experience. We'll absolutely be back!

Amazing time, over all a great experience.

Can’t say enough about the attention and responsiveness Jorge provided to us. The property was accommodating, great outdoor space for cooking and lounging. Calusa is great for families or anyone looking for a great time in Key Largo.

Nice place to visit for some sun and fun

We enjoyed our stay and found plenty to do in the area. The trailer is older but well maintained. There were two of us and we used the small room with the bunk beds for our luggage. I’m not sure it would be comfortable for 4 unless 2 were young children. We did all of our cooking in the lanai. We’re campers so staying in a trailer worked for us. The pool was heated and the golf cart was a fun perk. We brought our own bikes but there were 2 bikes included.

Excellent rental and location

My family really enjoyed staying at Remedy's Cay. Wonderful outdoor screened patio/kitchen to hang out and cook. Campground has nice amenities like the pool, playground and boat dock. Enjoyed using the two-person kayak. Close to John Pennekamp State Park and shopping. The campground was clean and everyone at the campground was really nice. Great host was very helpful and available.

Winter getaway

My husband and I together with our small dog spent the month of March in this very comfortable vacation travel trailer. We loved the outside screened porch, which provided everthing we needed to prepare meals or just sit and relax. The campground provided excellent security and we loved the location. There was shopping, restaurants and things to do in the general area.

The location is beautiful with, manatees, pelicans, iguanas, osprey, crocodiles, heated pool, & splendid sunsets every night! The double kayak was used almost every other day, bikes, & golf cart all came in handy. We love the screened in porch and friendly people at Calusa!

A Small Slice of Paradise

The property was just as advertised. The owner was incredibly responsive during ou visit addressing any questions and even proactively sharing important weather updates as we had some serious rain storms during our stay. This is a wonderful community with a great location in Key Largo which truly is a bit of paradise. The golf cart and bicycles make moving around the property very easy.

It's 5 o'clock somewhere.

Convenient boat ramp and dock. Nice swimming pool. Beautiful sunsets. This unit has a great porch. The use of the golf cart, bicycles and kayak was a great plus. Just a note, it is a travel trailer, not a regular mobile home, so it is a bit smaller than a regular mobile home.

Great little getaway

Nicely carribean styled RV with fantastic screened porch, in safe gated, golf cart friendly resort community. Has everthing you need for a wonderful stay. Lots of hot water, AC keeps you nice and cool. Fully stocked indoor and outdoor kitchen. Bed linens and towels supplied. Host readily available, if you have any concerns or problems. We had a great 1mo. stay, and hope if we visit the Keys again, we will be able to stay in the cutest RV ever!

wonderful place to stay

We spent two months at Jorge and Ilya's Calusa home. Their home is decorated with Keys décor, very charming. The outside screened in porch is the best part. It doubles the living space. Jorge and Ilya were excellent and very attentive to all are questions and issues. I highly recommend this location as it is right across from the bath and laundry facilities. And a shortly walk to the pool and canals. I would stay here again.

A Summer to Remember

My family and I spent the entire summer at this beautiful Key Largo getaway spot. It was very clean with all the important amenities we needed. Great safe environment for the kids with plenty to do as well as shopping spots closely located. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets and centrally located within the community close to pool and clubhouse. This was absolutely a summer my family will never forget! We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Great Location for John Pennekamp State Park!

My son and I spent his high school Spring Break here snorkeling, swimming and kayaking. This is a great location for all of these things. The mobile home is comfortable and fully equipped with anything you need including a golf cart to get around. Communication with Jorge was excellent - he quickly responded to any questions. The pool chairs, tables, etc. look new and there are plenty of them available. The pool deck was a great place to watch the sunsets. Lots of great activities and restaurants close by. We loved our time here and look forward to visiting again.
