Immergé dans l'une des plus belles vallées de Taormina, la villa Kate se présente comme une charmante maison pour vos vacances. Récemment rénové avec soin et élégance, il dispose de pièces lumineuses divisées en deux chambres doubles, une chambre simple, deux salles de bain, une cuisine et un salon avec canapé-lit. Le jardin parfumé de fleurs et d'agrumes agrumes entoure la villa en faisant une oasis de détente. Mais la vue est magnifique: la villa Kate surplombe la baie de Giardini Naxos et offre des levers et couchers de soleil inoubliables. À seulement 5 minutes des plages de Giardini Naxos et Taormine, il se trouve à 5 minutes du centre de Taormine et à 10 minutes de l’autoroute.

Awesome villa in Taormina

Everything about this property was excellent. The hosts were friendly and helpful including greeting us when we arrived and helping us with our bags. The house is large with room to spread out and has amazing outdoor spaces to take in the views. The location is perfect if you want a quiet spot in busy Taormina and still being just a short walk to everything. It was convenient to be able to walk to the parking garage and then take an elevator up 7 floors to get to town. I absolutely recommend this villa if you’re planning to stay in Taormina.

Taormina is a beautiful place.

The property is difficult to find and because I'm 73 I had a very hard time walking up the steep drive to the city. The hot water was not hot and the heater didn't work. The apartment was clean and had everything I needed. The view is spectacular and the city of Taormina is perhaps the most beautiful city in Sicily.

Mi dispiace per Lei se ha trovato l'acqua non calda e l'aria condizionata non calda, ma ha sbagliato a posizionare con il telecomando la pompa di calore ed ha messo l'aria condizionata fredda. Io avevo detto di avvisarmi per qualche problema ed invece non sono stata chiamata. Il giorno della partenza mi ha riferito tutto questo. Sono contenta che Lei e' stato qui ed ha lasciato l'appartamento pulito ed in ordine.

What a view!

I chose Villa Kate based on the photos of the view and it did not disappoint. I could not stop looking out the front window. It's just an incredible setting. That said, we also enjoyed how immaculate this apartment was kept and the fact that it had 2 bathrooms. As others have mentioned, the driveway in and out makes for a steep uphill walk. But the night we walked into town we just drove up to the parking garage up the hill and then drove back down when it was time to return to the apartment. Miss Caterina was a very gracious and helpful host; we would love to return to her home another time.

Pretty setting

Overall our experience was excellent and memorable. Caterina was very responsive to any of our requests or issues and if the weather was warmer we would have been able to enjoy the patio a lot more. I’m sure in the late spring,summer and fall the fruit trees would all be in bloom as well as all of the trees and flowers. It is definitely a steep climb to the top of the hill! Once at the top if you climb a little further up the road you can go to the parking garage and take the elevator up to the town. A real bonus! It would have been helpful if Caterina had a list of recommended restaurants and other points of interests and resources but Taormina is small and fairly easy to navigate.

It is a climb

Getting to property is difficult it was great Katrina and Tinto picked us up on 2separate days. But be warned walking to town using parking garage elevator is still 7flights down and 21 flights up. I should have cancelled when I injured myself before the trip. But even the able bodies had trouble. But the biggest issue is the beds are awful. They have rock hard foam toppers can't even indent when pushing hard, on top of very bad mattresses, making it very unstable all 4 of us had trouble sleeping and had many aches. I'm sorry can't recommend the unit even though the view is stunning.

Mi dispiace che il letto non era comodo ma nessun ospite si è mai lamentato, tanti lo preferiscono così, l ascensore è comodo per tutti per raggiungere il centro, ci siamo messi a disposizione prendendovi alla stazione con la nostra macchina e cercando di farvi stare bene.

My wife and I stayed three nights at this property, and wished we had reserved a longer stay. We had excellent communications with the owner, and received a thorough explanation of how everything worked in the flat as well as how best to walk into town. The flat is very clean and fully equipped for self-catering. The flat seems large for just two people (there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms equipped with a shower in each one). We really appreciated the wonderful views, and spent a lot of time on the outside deck eating, drinking wine, and checking out the coastline beaches as well as Mt. Etna. There is parking on-premises in the dead-end street leading to this flat, which is great. This flat is private and quiet, a real plus. An earlier commenter noted issues with heating, but we had no problems with the efficient heaters and the operation was straightforward. This flat probably won't work for folks with mobility issues or for couples with young children as there are stairs and it's a steep slope. All in all, we'd love to return and Caterina is wonderful host.

Une vue magnifique sur l Etna et la baie de Naxos

Nous avons passé une semaine à Taormine. Le logement est idéalement situé à moins de 10mn à pied du centre. Petite maison de deux chambres ( mais aussi deux salles de bain), tres confortable et bien équipée. Et surtout une vue fantastique sur la baie de Naxos, et de la terrasse, où on prenait notre petit déjeuner, une vue aussi sur l Etna. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et gentils. Ne pas oublier de nourrir le petit chat noir si il vient vous rendre visite !

Vue magnifique de Taormina et de la mer

Appartement dans la montagne très bien située près de la vielle ville. Stationnement privé qui nous évite de payer un stationnement public très dispendieux. Vue sur l’Etna et à 1 hre de route de la montée de l’Etna. Très beau séjour

Vue époustouflante !

De la maison la vue sur la mer et l’Etna est magnifique cependant il faut la mériter car l’accès se fait par une côte très raide ! La maison est confortable avec ses 2 salles bain. Caterina est adorable ! Une location à recommander

Superbe séjour

Très agréable séjour dans cette maison à la vue magnifique, au calme, à quelques pas du centre de la jolie Taormina (accès au centre via l’ascenseur du parking à proximité, après avoir remonté la rue de la maison). Maison bien équipée et confortable, et en cette période l’hôte nous a invité à cueillir les excellentes clémentines du jardin! Merci Caterina!

Super séjour

Nous avons passé 6 jours à Taormina. La location de Caterina bénéficie d'une vue extraordinaire sur la baie et sur l Etna. Maison propre et agréable. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette station balnéaire. La location est située sur les hauteurs de la ville, à 10 mn à pied du centre et à environ 20 mn de la gare routière.

des vacances... vraiment des vacances!!!

L'endroit est superbe et propre, la patronne est vraiment très serviable et arrangeante. il n'y a aucun voisin directe, une baie vitrée avec panorama sur la mer et une vue magnifique sur la mer et l' Etna lorsque vous prenez votre repas sur le balcon-terrasse. un accès à Taormina centre, en 10 minutes, à pied et à la mer, en 5 minutes, en voitures... Que rajouter de plus si ce n'est que ça faisait longtemps qu'on avait pas passer des vacances aussi relaxante. Un grand merci à Caterina et à Pino pour les Pizza et le limoncello ;-) à bientôt, de la suisse!

Die fantastische Villa Kate!

Eine ideale Unterkunft für Taormina mit einem fantastischen Ausblick aufs Meer und den Ätna und das praktisch in Alleinlage in Taormina! Sehr sauber und gepflegt, mit Liebe eingerichtet und einem wunderbaren Terassengarten mit netter Sitzecke. Das war für uns Urlaub pur, zumal Taormina über einen zwar steilen, aber kurzen Fußweg mit einem kleinen Stück entlang der Straße und dem Lift des Parkhauses in knapp 15 Minuten zu erreichen ist. Dazu ein Parkplatz direkt in Nähe des Hauses, das ist hier sonst ein Problem. Wir wurden von Caterina herzlich empfangen und betreut und haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt! Urlaub von Anfang an in einem Haus, in dem uns nichts gefehlt hat. Sogar der Kaffee stand bereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen es ausdrücklich weiter. Cara Caterina, grazie mille!!!

On the Edge of Heaven in Taormina!

My husband and I are in our mid to late 50’s and thoroughly enjoyed our wonderful, peaceful stay here in Taormina. The views are amazing and the home itself is lovely. We enjoyed the 15 minute walk up to the intriguing medieval city but one could easily drive to the nearby parade and walk a short distance from there. No issues at all with this rental. Everything was perfect and Caterina, the host, was very friendly. We would recommend this rental to all able bodied adults and older children. One cannot easily forget this view of the sea!

1 night in Taormina

I arranged a check in time in advance. The host met us at a nearby restaurant and showed us to the unit. The unit is down quite a steep hill and then up several steps, which was not clear to me when booking. The unit was clean and had laundry and 2 bathrooms. We had a great view of the harbor below. The walk into town was easy once we figured out how to use the elevator in the nearby parking garage to get to the city level.

Stunning Location for Couples/Family

Villa Kate has the most incredible view at an unbelievable price! Perfect for couples, friends or a small family. While the house is located outside of the city centre, it is only a short walk. If you aren't keen on walking, taxis are readily available. We were in Taormina for 5 days attending a wedding. Villa Kate offered us the perfect base, a stunning location to cook some meals and enjoy an incredible ocean view, sit on the terrace to enjoy a morning coffee. Absolutely gorgeous and we cannot wait to come back.

Taormina

This is a fine property with lovely view and comfort. The only difficulty occurred when the directions given by the owner about where to meet her were not possible to follow in that we arrived into town in a way different from what she assumed we would. Connecting with her was thus delayed and difficult. There should be a better way of giving directions . We had to meet the owner and then follow her to the address. I'm every other respect everything was fine. The view of Mount Etna from the apartment is superb.

Taormina Stay

The property was very clean, view was spectacular! It is my suggestion though, that the walk up to the apartment be advertised. My friend and I, both found the walk up to the apartment to be very steep and slippery trek. Being elderly it was a bit much for us. It would also be difficult for anyone with heart issues or weak knees/ hips.

Enjoying Taormina

We really enjoyed staying in Caterina's little villa. The place offers an fantastic view and is situatet in a little green oasis. It's a bit out of the way from the town itself and gives you the chance to relax. Of course it helps to be in good condition or to have a vehicle, because some of the paths are quite steep. Caterina and her husband were very friendly and helpful. They picked us up at the trainstation and offered us any help we asked for. In the villa You will find anything You need for some relaxing days, we certainly will come back.
