Chalet confortable avec belle vue sur la baie

Le "Retreat Retreat" est un appartement de 1 chambre à coucher, de 500 pieds carrés, offrant une vue magnifique sur la baie Netarts. Il y a un lit queen size dans la chambre et il y a un futon confortable dans le salon. Il y a Wifi et la télévision par cùble, de sorte que vous pouvez rester connecté pendant vos vacances. Le salon / salle à manger a une télévision à écran plat et le lecteur DVD a des capacités de lecture en continu. Il y a beaucoup de place pour garer votre camion et votre bateau et également une station pratique de nettoyage du poisson en plein air. Le foyer dans la cour est un excellent lieu de rassemblement et offre une vue magnifique sur la baie! En outre, l'unité à l'étage est disponible à la location aussi! The bay views are lovely, there are plenty of heaters to keep the space warm in the winter months, and the surrounding neighborhood is charming. The kitchen has everything you need in terms of cookware, etc. It's a great space!

Place was clean and well equipped. Past review said you need to be under 5’10” due to low ceiling, I’m just shy of 6’, the ceiling although low was still 7 feet. Only issue was the Thursday storm which brought in a substantial amount of water through the front door

The place is cute, well equipped and has a beautiful view of the bay. Things you’ll want to know: I don’t advise anyone taller than 5’10” to stay here. The ceilings are very low and the shower is very petite. If you are planning a romantic time, just know that the bed is VERY creeky and loud. Also, there was no key in the lock box only a key pad on the door, which we couldn’t figure out how to lock again when we were coming and going. So it’s cute, it’s quaint and very peaceful overall.

Roadtrip

This place was everything i was hoping for. Was very comfortable and our view was great. Perfect location away from town but close enough to explore the surrounding beautiful area of Cape Meares and local creameries. Definitely a place we'd come back to.

This is not true, they rent out the 2nd floor to a different party. The description states if you have more family, there is space available on 2nd floor you can rent. It never says anything about a completely different group! I definitely would not of rented it if I knew that. Complete false advertising!

Netarts Stay

Loved the unit. So cute and well equipped. The front deck was so nice for taking in the beautiful view. The fold out sofa was lumpy so I didn’t try to use it as a bed, (snoring). The bed was very comfortable. We had a great stay!

Unexpected Adventures in Clamming

We had originally come to the coast for hiking and whale watching but due to the cloudiness, we had to get creative. My husband, our puppy, and myself instead opted for clamming, renting tools from the Netarts Garden RV Park. Though mucky and chilly (and our lack of proper attire) we met so many kind and helpful locals, and we were able to harvest a few clams, cockles, and gapers. Though cleaning them was a quite intricate process, they all went very well in a beurre blanc sauce. The accommodations were very cozy and the view from the deck was beautiful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It really was a lovely spot and a cozy place with a great view. There was a great kitchen with lots of essential spices and such. The not smoking rule seemed fine, until we were there and didn't want to go out on the street to smoke pot- which is illegal and there really is plenty of property to smoke on the safety of the property and far away from the building. It felt unsafe and inappropriate to have to smoke on the street. The other bummer is the fire pit, which is awesome to have, but would have been so much more pleasant without a blinding spot light in the yard.

Cute and cozy

Great chill spot. Met the cool neighbor Bill working on his house out back. Good communication with host. Great view from windows. Pretty darn close to the beach over in happy camp. My one disclaimer would be if your a light sleeper or are annoyed with noise from upstairs tenants than make note that it’s pretty loud at times. Probably just due to the construction but it worked out fine. It’s just loud at times.

This vacation rental ( Shore Thing) is the best. I’d recommend them to everyone. The rental was warm and cozy and had a amazing view. And Sarah is the best! We had a hard time with the key lock box. She talked about s through it. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
