Avec un plan d'Ă©tage ouvert et des plafonds voĂ»tĂ©s, vous ressentirez le vrai charme du sud de cette maison de vacances Ă  la plage. Le grand porche grillagĂ© est parfait pour votre cafĂ© du matin, une partie de ping-pong ou pour vous dĂ©tendre dans le hamac. Et la libertĂ© de s'asseoir dehors sous une pluie douce lors d'une soirĂ©e agrĂ©able est merveilleuse. Le porche arriĂšre est Ă©galement spacieux, Ă©quipĂ© d'un ensemble de salle Ă  manger et d'un barbecue Ă  gaz. Une fois que vous entrez dans la maison de 3 chambres et 3 salles de bain, vous verrez tout ce qu'elle a Ă  offrir. La cuisine spacieuse est entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour vous sentir comme chez vous pendant la cuisson. Le bar peut accueillir 4 personnes et est parfait pour divertir les invitĂ©s tout en prĂ©parant les repas. En passant par la cuisine, vous trouvez la grande buanderie, avec une laveuse et une sĂ©cheuse pleine grandeur, un Ă©vier et une porte arriïżœïżœre vers la piscine et la terrasse. La cuisine s'ouvre sur la grande salle avec une table Ă  manger pouvant accueillir 8-10 personnes. La grande salle a plus qu'assez de place pour la famille et les amis. Sur la droite de la grande salle, vous trouverez une chambre d'hĂŽtes avec 2 lits queen et une salle de bain privĂ©e. Cette chambre a accĂšs au grand porche grillagĂ© sur le devant de la maison; avec volets extĂ©rieurs pour l'intimitĂ©. La chambre principale et salle de bain privĂ©e sont Ă©galement sur le cĂŽtĂ© droit de la maison. Le maĂźtre a un lit king avec accĂšs Ă  la grande terrasse arriĂšre. De l'autre cĂŽtĂ© du salon, Ă  gauche, une salle de bain complĂšte de la grande salle et de la deuxiĂšme chambre d'amis avec un lit queen.
Le 8 Dove Street est vraiment un endroit idĂ©al, la plage et la place Coligny sont Ă  quelques minutes Ă  pied. La piste cyclable de l'Ăźle est accessible au coin du bloc - vous n'avez mĂȘme pas besoin de traverser la rue.
Coligny Plaza a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour des vacances parfaites; épicerie, shopping, restauration et divertissement pour enfants et adultes. Et la piscine est idéale pour se prélasser à la maison.

Dove getaway

The property was amazing. Everything we could want was in the house. Walk to the beach and closeness to Coligny was such a plus. Communication with property manager was great. And you can’t beat that screened in porch with the ping pong table.

Great house and location!

Our family of 6 adults and 2 children all enjoyed 8 Dove St. The home is spacious and airy - we had enough room for all. We especially enjoyed the pool, the porches and the well-equipped kitchen. The home is convenient to everything. We look forward to going back again.

Best vacation ever

We have been coming to s. Forest Beach for years. We love the atmosphere in the neighborhood and the convenience. Our daughter loved it when she was young and her toddler does, too.

Perfect Beach and Shopping Vacation

This house is in a great location, close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. The open floor plan and spacious bedrooms are very nice and the pool is the perfect size for a small family to enjoy. We will definitely rent from Beachside Getaway again as they were wonderful to work with and we very much enjoyed our visit.

Exactly what we expected

The property is ideally located for a family beach vacation. Less than five minutes’ walk to the center of town, and to the beach. The porch, pool and ping pong were perfect for mornings and evenings. I would only consider a little upgrade to the fridge.

Fit our needs perfectly

We could not have been happier with this house. Quick walk to the beach and to Coligny Plaza. Easy access to bike trails. House was perfect size for six adults, extremely clean and outfitted with everything we needed. Pool received late afternoon shade and made for a relaxing gathering place after a day at the beach. Would stay here again, without question.

A magical stay

The house was big, clean, and beautiful and in the quiet neighborhood that was within walking distance to many shops ajd restaurants. We hope to come back and stay again.

Great house, great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. The location is an easy walk to the beach or to downtown Coligny Plaza. The screened in front porch with the ping pong table and the nice cozy wicker furniture with the ceiling fan was very enjoyable. Especially because the bugs seemed to be out full force with all the rain. The pool isn't huge but it's perfect for getting wet and enjoying the afternoon and if you look around the area, it's hard to even find a bigger pool. The house accommodated our group of 8 plus a 10 month old perfectly. The only reason I give it a 4 for cleanliness is there are quite a few stains on the cushions to the kitchen table (although we loved the nice large table), and on the covered porch wicker furniture. The only complaint we had was the refrigerator. It's older for sure and it took a long time for it to actually get cold. The freezer was missing a shelf or possibly two and there was approximately 2" of ice buildup on the bottom that wasn't flat so the things we had in there kept falling out. We removed the ice once but it built back up again. The refrigerator definitely needs upgraded. The washer and dryer are excellent and seem new and dishwasher worked well. Had a nice variety of dishes, silverware, pots and pans as we did cook several times and the grill was a very nice touch. The house is as big as it looks in the pictures. We loved the open floor plan.

Location and space just right!

House was perfect for our family of 5! Nice short walk to the beach and coligny plaza for restaurants, shops and ice cream. Only complaints were bed and couches were uncomfortable and the cleaning wasn’t as good as I would expect for professional cleaning. We had an internet issue and the staff was extremely responsive and the issue was resolved quickly and they followed up to ensure all was good. All in all we loved our vacation and highly recommend HHI and beachside getaway!

This property is not what it seems. The photos are amazing but upon arrival we were very disappointed and did not stay. 1) the pool is the size of a king size bed 2) the neighborhood is terrible - there was a lovely neighbor across the street enjoying a cigarette in a lawn chair, another neighbor had numerous plastic toys in the front yard 3) the mattress in the 2nd bedroom is a futon with no box spring, 4) stained furniture, stained rugs 5)OPEN food left in the cabinets (COVID RISK!!), i could go on but you get the point. Rental property was accommodating and let us get out of the rental. Luckily we found another home.

A wonderful home away from home!

My family and I just returned from a 9 day stay. We absolutely loved the house and the layout. We truly felt at home in a wonderful neighborhood and met some lovely neighbors. Just a quick manageable, walk to the beach (we usually stay beachfront with other families, so this was a change for us, and we actually didn’t think the walk was bad at all). The pool was small and unheated, but sufficed. Our favorite part about the house was the huge open layout, vaulted ceilings, and large bedrooms. Also, the huge screened in front porch with a ping pong table is where we spent most of our time in the house. It really is lovely!! The only reason I gave this house 4 stars overall is because the cleaning could have been better. Needless to say during these COVID times, a deep clean was NOT performed and that was disheartening and quite disgusting actually. Upon arrival, we found 2 dirty socks and an empty water bottle when we opened the garage. The countertops were not fully cleaned as sauce remnants were still visible. There was food splashed on the coffee pot. There was a piece of foil wrapper on the front porch floor. There was an ear plug on the floor near the Master night stand. Multiple long black hairs were found on the furniture, on a curtain, and in various dust bunnies. We found an expired passport in the couch cushions! I’m not kidding! And to top it off, we found a 4T kids bathing suit bottom under one of the beds in a pile of sand!!! I had emailed the management company ahead of time about my concerns for a good cleaning. I was assured that approved parameters were set in to place regarding COVID precautions. Based on what we discovered at the house, I think not. I let the management company know we weren’t satisfied with the cleanliness at the end of our stay. They said they would address it. I recommend wiping everything down before unpacking just to be on the safe side. On a positive note, bedding, towels, bathrooms all appeared to be clean. This house provides beach towels, toiletries, dish soap, laundry detergent. But no bikes, beach cart, beach toys, cooler, beach tent etc. bring your own! It has a nice grill too!

The house was wonderful, first impression needed improvement.

We had an awesome week and the house was a beautiful beach getaway home. We loved the screened-in patio, the pool was cleaned thoroughly multiple times, and the management was quick to communicate with us whenever needed. My only disappointment was my first impression on arrival-first impressions are very important, especially when you've spent a lot of hard-earned money on something...We entered through the front porch and saw 3 empty drink bottles and a snack wrapper on the floor, so my first impression was, "Well they didn't really clean this place for us." (Door access code was wrong but was quickly resolved.) Two of the couch pillows had long strands of dark hair on them-that's yucky. Then my sister-in-law went to take a shower and the spigot literally blew off the wall and clattered down into the tub, so it couldn't have been cleaned because that would've happened when the water was turned on to clean it. We ended up having a wonderful week and the house was really beautiful and well taken care of, but I think whoever prepares the house for guests needs to pay more attention to detail.

Loved the home, hated the beds

We loved the home but the beds were so hard and uncomfortable. We all woke up with back and body aches. We went and got 2 mattress covers for the king bed to make sleeping tolerable. We also got air mattresses to sleep on instead of sleeping in the beds. We would love to stay here next year for two weeks instead of one. Please let me know if the owners update their bedding. The staff at the rental office were so kind and accommodating. It is a beautiful home and we loved everything about it except when it came time to sleep.
