À PROPOS DE SPLASH BEACH RESORT
Les équipements du Splash Resort sont assez uniques parmi les stations balnéaires de la côte du Golfe et il y en a pour tous les goûts. Il y a une piscine réservée aux adultes et un jacuzzi situés juste à côté de la principale aire de jeux pour enfants où se trouvent les toboggans et un énorme seau qui déversent des centaines de gallons d'eau toutes les 45 secondes. Il y a aussi un centre de fitness ultramoderne donnant sur la piscine et la rivière paresseuse. Il y a un bar et grill près de la piscine avec des tables au bord de la piscine et un menu à un prix raisonnable. Un accès Internet haut débit est disponible dans de nombreux espaces communs autour du complexe, dont un coin salon Wi-Fi avec des sièges confortables. Il y a un magasin de vêtements, d'accessoires et de surf pour la plage d'Alvin's Island. En outre, il y a une mini épicerie, un café et un magasin de crème glacée situés sur place, donnant à Splash à peu près tout ce dont la plupart des clients ont besoin pendant leurs vacances afin qu'ils n'aient pas besoin de partir avant d'être prêts à partir.

Perfect location

This unit has a spectacular view and a great location. Plenty of towels, and comfortable beds. The unit could use a new coat of paint and a bit of a refresh but this did not impact our enjoyment overall. The staff we interacted with was courteous and the unit was clean when we arrived.

Great family get away

Splash was a great family resort. My kids loved the pools, splash zone, lazy river, and game room. The beach was beautiful, plenty of chairs to rent. Our condo had some room for improvement. Numerous lights bulbs were out and there were no batteries in the tv remotes. We had to ask for extra pillows. When we called maintenance they were very nice and replaced everything quickly. The condo was quiet. We loved the location, as it was on the outskirts of town, but close to great restaurants and shopping.

Kid-friendly water park and lazy river stay.

Check-in was 4:06 pm and Registration was closed. Check-in was after 4, so no parking pass or resort bracelets that day. However, Security informed us what to do and no worries. Registration was open early, and Pam was very funny, helpful, and friendly. I remembered her from a previous stay in 2017or 2018. The resort was a little worn but clean. Facilities were good but some chairs and loungers were in need of repair. Our views were breathtaking and our kiddos loved it. Thank you

Good stay but be careful with elevator timing

THERE ARE ONLY TWO ELEVATORS! And 21 floors full of people, don’t expect to go anywhere any time fast around 3-6 the elevator line goes all the way to the over bridge, and whether they are going up or down if there’s room for you to fit just jump on and ride it. It is inevitable that if you’re a bigish family you will have to split up to let the elevator process go a little faster. Jump on that elevator as soon as possible no matter how cramped it is. Probably the worse part. We sat for 30 mins and finally said screw it my husband put our 3 year old on his back and we walked up the stairs to the 11th floor, 100% worth it because every time the elevator stopped it was crammed with people and we were already in the back of the line that was waiting to get on.

Splash Resort was nice. Condo needs serious maintenance and cleaning.

The condo itself was nice. It had a nice view also. Although, this condo needs some serious maintenance. When we first got there my daughter went to use the spare bathroom and the toilet seat fell off. Then when she went to take a bath the gasket just fell off the tub. Her tv never worked and all the furniture in her room was covered in dust. The kitchen lacked enough supplies to do what was needed and all the skillets were very old and burnt. Several of the dishes were broken and the dryer had no lint vent so, it took 3 times to dry a load of clothes. There were 2 leather chairs in the living room that were just shedding pieces of leather all over the floor. In fact there was hardly any leather left on the chairs. Most of the electrical outlets did not function properly. They either didn't work or the plug would just fall out of them. Our sheets in our room had brown stuff all over them. When I pulled them off to see what it was there was brown stuff on the mattress also. Strangely there was a box in front of the toilet with 5 empty boxes of Oil of Olay inside of it. Honestly, I reasonable person would request their money back considering the cost to stay in this condo. Overall, we had a good time at the Splash Resort but, very unsatisfied with the stay in this room. August 2017.

Overall, the unit was OKAY.

We’ve stayed in a few different condos at Splash. Overall, the unit was OKAY. Pros: - Plenty of towels/ wash clothes. - Unit seemed cleaned on arrival except under the beds and heavy dust around the top of the headboards. - The AC unit worked well. - Lots of utensils and dishes in the kitchen; would like to have seen more “kid friendly” cups. - Pool areas and splash pad were very clean, although it was closed for several hours due to excessive rain. Cons: - Headboard on master bed was peeling faux leather all over the bed. - Bed in second bedroom was not a king as advertised, it was a full/queen (we realized after we booked that the description said “queen” but on the main booking page where we were looking at bed size, we were misled and there’s a no-cancellation policy). - Heating element in dryer was shot, took several cycles to get clothes dry. - Only a couch and one chair in the living room for a 6-person unit (pictures show couch and 3 chairs). - Second table on the balcony was a waste of space; it was very large and took up a good portion of the balcony. It was peeling up from the moisture. There are only 3 chairs on the balcony, 2 at the main table and one lounger. - No dustpan for the broom. - The sliding door in the master bedroom would open but would not close; neither balcony door would lock. - The couch cushions were pretty stained. We tried to turn them, but the other side was stained also. One of the cushions had a busted zipper. - The sheetrock was crumbling onto the floor around the shower and the bottom of the wall in the guest bathroom. - Would have loved to have beach service included with what we paid for the week.

It was a blast

Perfect for smaller kids. They enjoyed the water park and took advantage of the donuts and ice cream shop. Having the balcony door in the bedroom was a plus.

Family Friendly, Quiet Beachfront Resort

Splash Resort is a very family friendly, quiet beachfront resort. It's located on the quieter west end of Front Beach Road (the farther east you go, the more young spring breakers). Tons of restaurants and shops are located nearby on the main strip and parkway. Grocery store about 1 mile away. Despite the unit being directly across the elevators (and we were in between two family filled units), the unit were very soundproof. The 11th floor balcony was the perfect spot directly overlooking the beach. It was nice to open the sliding doors in the living room and main bedroom to hear the waves and feel the ocean breeze. Beach access was located just steps from the resort pool areas. Water activities like jet skis, a banana boat ride and parasailing were available right on the beach. One of the pools and the lazy river were heated. Unfortunately, another pool was closed due to construction and the zero depth bucket zone was way too cold for the kids to enjoy. Ample parking is across the street. An indoor walkway connected the parking garage and resort. The unit was advertised as two King bedrooms. Unfortunately, only a full/queen bed was in the second bedroom. Having two King beds was a determining factor in choosing this place over others. Needless to say, we were a bit disappointed to find a full/queen bed for the kids to sleep in.

Great Trip!

Great amenities, beautiful view, close to attractions but far enough away from the noise. First time at the Splash, we will return in the future. Part of our group went fishing with Reel Addiction Charters and had the best experience and caught some amazing fish.

Quick Getaway!

This was a last minute quick getaway for us and everything went almost too smoothly!! The condo was great, the property was perfect for the kids, the management company made everything super easy!! We never even left the property!! Splash is AWESOME and we will be back :)

We LOVE Splah

This was our families 5th time to Splash and as always we love it!! The condos are always clean, the ladies at panhandle getaways are forever in the office (until 10 their there). This was our first time in this condo but again right on the money. If you are a family with kids this is the spot...we love it. The pool side grill is a nice touch for the long days at the beach too. I would recommend Splash to anyone! Thnaks again ladies for another great year!!

Not very clean....

We were so excited to take the kids and so we left early. We called to see if we could check in earlier than 4 and they did not give any thought to it and told us it was policy. We could only check in at 4 because it was being cleaned. (We were ok with this, because we knew it was the busy season). Well when we finally got in our room, it was NASTY!!!! I would have rather them let us in early and let me clean the place. SAND Everywhere, floors, couches, beds, etc... (I realize we were at the beach but we were there 2 minutes and it was like walking down by the ocean). It smelled awful!!!! Like burnt bacon, and I think it actually happened because the smoke detector was off the wall laying on the counter. The toaster and ice machine did not work. There was no shower curtain on the master bathroom SHOWER.... We only got 4 towels for a six person condo. The pool area was not clean, all the gates to the pools are broke. They now give you paper wrist bands that do not last but 2 days and you have to get new ones. Overall, I have stayed at this condo before and it was nice, NOW after this stay we will not be going back.

Not all bad

The resort is perfect for families with kids. However, the menu prices at the poolside grill were high and the pools were quite small. The condo itself was just okay. It had not been cleaned when we checked in and the AC was not working. The cleaning crew finally came around 7 pm and the AC was working again about 24 hours into our stay. We could have used more towels, though. They only gave us six towels for six people staying for four days. There was no trash can in the kitchen until the afternoon before we checked out. Panhandle Getaways did offer a refund on the cleaning fee, but a refund on our first nights stay would have been appropriate considering the other issues.
