Peaceful and near the beach

We enjoyed the proximity to Salisbury Beach with convenient access to other towns in Eastern Massachusetts. Walk to large open sandy beach and ocean is wonderful.

Melo's beach house

Great stay. The apartment is perfect for a family of 3 or 4 and is a short distance from the beach. Host offers most appreciated amenities (coffee, snacks, etc.). I recommend.

Great stay at Salisbury Beac

I had a great long weekend stay at Melo’s Beach Stay in Salisbury. The accommodations were nice and beach sea worthy. Communication with the owner was consistent and open. I would recommend staying at this location . JR

Great Location - clean, cozy

This space was perfect for our family of four (2 parents, 2 young children). We had family from the area come over for dinner and they were impressed with the location as well. Our host was reached very easily when I had questions. I would definately stay here again.

We loved the cleanliness; it was updated; had everything we needed and more; was close to the ocean and MANY stores and dining options and we could walk to them all! We loved the balcony and the enclosed porch. We felt very safe there. The communication was excellent and so very kind. Thank you very much! We loved it!

A perfect little place just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. Dalia is super responsive. I let her know when we arrived that the storm door would not latch and she had someone come fix it right away.

We were really only there to sleep. It was off season so we parked right out front every time coming and going. Super short walk to the beach. Wish it was summer! Condo had everything needed and very clean. Perfect for four adults. Would love to come back in summer!

This cozy apartment was thoughtfully prepared for our relaxing long weekend. We were amity from the moment we walked in and saw the array of complimentary snacks on the table. An easy walk to the beach, we were able to enjoy a moonlit stroll and daybreak coffee. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great time here for our quick little vacation! The inside was newly done over and very cute and cozy! It was very close to the beach and a quick walk to the boardwalk. The owner was very thoughtful and left me a bag of birthday goodies! She also responded very quickly to my messages and couldn't have been more helpful! Hopefully if we get more time off, we will be back! Thank you for helping us create more memories with my family!!

Great Beach Property

We had a lovely time staying at Melo. The layout of the apartment is very nice and functional. It is slightly dated, but well maintained and all the appliances, as well as the grill, and AC work like a champ. There is very hot water and the towels, while older, were very soft, and there were plenty of them. The linens were very nice and the beds were comfortable. It's an easy walk to the beach and the boardwalk. We felt that the host was available for any questions or concerns we might have had. And BONUS, you have your own parking lot, a big deal near the beach! Keep in mind that the street the parking lot is on is a one way street and your GPS will tell you the lot is on the right...it's not, it's on the left. Oh, and to the person who said the neighborhood was "iffy." What a snobby attitude! It may not be the most posh neighborhood, but my 11 year old and I walked around to and from the beach and boardwalk, even at night, and all we met were friendly, helpful neighbors. It's a very quiet area with quite a few senior citizens living there, we never felt unsafe. Thanks Dalila, we really enjoyed our stay!

Coastal guest house

The host did a wonderful job preparing for us to be there! It was me and four other adults that stayed and it was a breeze. The check in was simple and the owner gave us a code to the door so we were welcome to check in at anytime after 4pm. When we left, she gave us specific instructions on how to leave the place and it was very simple! Great experience and great host!

August 2022 Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Melo's Beach House. The pictures are accurate, but it's even better in person. There are so many charming features that appear to be original to the house or at least true to the time period. We really appreciated the screened in porch, the outdoor shower and the private back patio. The bedrooms are big. The walk to the beach is very easy and we had young children and older adults make the walk with us. There is a sidewalk most of the way and then there is a wheelchair accessible path on the sand once you get to the beach. We were nervous about finding on street parking, but it was no problem at all. The hosts were very responsive. The light on the steps was burned out and they changed it the same day (within hours) of being informed. Thank you so much to the Melos!

Great apartment, iffy neighborhood

The property itself was very clean and the communication with the owners/check in was easy. We were there with our 2 year old son and had some concerns about the neighborhood with drunken neighbors yelling at night and dogs barking. Proximity to the beach was great, we basically had the beach to ourselves since it was off season. There's a boardwalk with an arcade a couple blocks away, but not any amenities within walking distance. We went to Newburyport for coffees and food. Overall happy with our stay, but will probably choose a different location for vacation with young kids in the future.

The property was very well furnished and stocked with all of the necessities [dishware, linens, silverware, etc, etc.] Really enjoyed my stay as did my guests. Definitely recommend and hope to return again soon.

Such a nice place!!! Lots of extras! The owner was very responsive to any questions I had and the place was clean and bright! Nice back deck and a screened in porch. Would definitely recommend staying here, in any of the units!

We had a perfect vacation!

My friend and I LOVED this apartment. A nice walk to the beach or the main boardwalk area. Sweet deck with grill. Sitting on the deck was a nice atmosphere. There are many decks facing each other and many had people out grilling and chilling. The apartment was super clean and the owner super attentive and nice. We had some questions and the Owner responded right away. We are already planning to return next year. An absolutely perfect time.

Lovely Getaway

We had a great time! The beach was a 3 minute walk away and the boardwalk was 10. At night you can hear the waves from the deck. A wonderful weekend getaway.
