Pamela, thank you for your review from your stay at Sandy Paws! We are delighted you loved the property and it was nice and clean on arrival. We hold our housekeepers to very high standards and work with them closely to ensure they are meeting those standards on each clean. The owners have really thought of everything at this house with labeled kitchen cabinets for easy finding of items, to stocking trash bags and other helpful kitchen supplies to make your stay a breeze. We can't wait to see you back next time!

Hi Paul- Thanks the feedback. We hate there was an issue with the hvac but happy to hear the guys were able to get it up & running in a timley manner! We apprectiate you alerting us regarding the public sound access steps, we were unaware as this has been the first mention. In the meantime, we have removed that photo. In speaking with some of the neighbors on the street, everyone is working together to pool resources and money to get these repaired/replaced since they are not maintained by the town, we are gathering that it happend druing this most recent hurricane from a boat that drifted away from its dock. Sorry to hear of the minor inconvenice but hope everyone enjoyed their week at the beach!

Ricky, thank you for your review and feedback for your stay at Sandy Paws. It is wonderful to hear you found the house nice and clean on arrival and it was stocked well. We hold our housekeeping staff to very high cleaning standards so we always appreciate positive feedback. We are disheartened to learn that our company did not meet your expectations. We strive to create memorable and enjoyable vacations and we are always saddened whenever we fall short of that mark. As stated in your contract, an early check in is not guaranteed - you signed for a 4PM check in and on a busy Saturday in the middle of peak season, 4PM is very likely. We do our best to turn over 100 houses between 10 and 4pm, as you can imagine it is quite the task so we appreciate your patience waiting for the standard check in time. There are many behind the scenes procedures that contribute to a property being ready including needing to be cleaned, inspected, maintenance cleared, owners sometimes go to the property, vendors, landscaping, our team searching for lost/found, etc. We are trying our best to get guests into the units early this year but that is inherently a gamble. We are sorry to hear you left some items behind in the property - it is always best to walk the unit before leaving to ensure you have all your personal items before vacating the home. We are not liable for anything left behind. It is not fair to the current guest to barge in on their vacation to search for your missing items especially if you (a stranger) showed up asking to check the property. As discussed previously, we promise to check the unit on the next turn day and make you aware immediately if anything is recovered. It is a shame that this upset you so much that you would not work with our locally owned company and hope you will change your mind in the future as this is just standard practice once the home is already occupied with new tenants. We wish you nothing but the best with your future rental endeavors.
