Excellent condo in Kihei!

We had a fabulous stay! The condo had what we needed and it was in an excellent location. The boogie boards and beach chairs were a definite plus! Would stay here again.

Condo was perfect and had everything you could need including more ….so enjoyed beach chairs…multiple coolers and freezer packs. Plus kitchen so well stocked. Bed was so comfortable and wanted to take pillow home with me ! Highly recommended!

Our stay was amazing!! This condo has everything you would ever need and more!! We stayed as a family of 5 it was tight and we knew well ahead but this space was great for us all sleeping, showering and adventuring outside!The condo was very clean! This was our 3rd time staying on Maui vista grounds and they are so well kept and clean! Our host was amazing also! Communicating extra through the storm to ensure us it was safe to come! Maui never disappoints! We will be back as soon as we can!

Great unit in a perfect location!

A very well equipped unit with fantastic beach gear in a perfect location. The beach is an easy walk across the street, and there are lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

The condo was very comfortable for our family of 4. We truly appreciate that it was stocked with all the basics and tons of fun extras to make beach trips comfortable. The beach is walkable, but we chose to drive down farther and had no problem finding parking. The pool is right outside and we used it, too. No complaints here!

Great Place to Stay!

Aloha! We very much enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location is perfect for walking to close beaches or driving a short distance to Big Beach. The location in the condo complex is one of the best because it's away from the busy road and the lanai is quite private. The kitchen has everything you need, and the place is quite spacious with a very comfortable bed. We will take back fond memories of ordering take-out from Paia Fish house and enjoying it on the lanai with a bottle of wine!

Brie was very responsive when we had a problem with the air conditioning not working. She showed up within 15 minutes and made sure that it was working…We’re able to make breakfast and lunch no problem at all with even Rice Cooker . Thanks very much

I’m not sure what you mean by the check in process. I have a lock box and that’s it. Getting into the condo couldn’t be easier. However giving me a 3-star review based on what the front office has going on isn’t really fair. I have no control over hat happens there. In 7 years no one has ever complained about the check in at the office. 3-stars? Was the condo clean and to your liking? Then why leave a negative review for things that I have nothing to to do with?

Perfect for Us

Maui Vista is a great complex for those that want to stay in a quiet area close to lots of restaurants and a great beach! We had four adults in our unit and it worked out perfect! It isn’t huge, but we didn’t spend a lot of time in the condo. While we didn’t do a-lot of cooking, there was plenty of cooking items! Washer and dryer were great to have along with all of the beach equipment! There was an a/c unit, but we didn’t need it! The fans kept things cool enough. For the price, this is an excellent place to stay!

Great Getaway!

We were looking for an affordable place to do a 6 day vacation on Maui. Bri's property delivered! She had all of the supplies we needed: beach supplies, coolers, icepacks, kitchen gadgets, laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner/ body wash. The only thing that I could note to be addressed is that the window screens were broken. However, Bri was aware of this and had notes on them warning us to not open them. Oh! and everything was very clearly laid out and there were gentle reminders on everything (ex. don't accidentally leave one of the fridge doors open-- it will flood). She seems to have thought of everything. It was a great place to stay!

Nice little location, near beaches. Nice apartment/condo complex, clean, quiet & good security keeps eye on area. Easy check in & out. Nicely furnished, with everything we needed. We did need to buy some more toilet paper & small things but they provided enough for a few days. They had boogie boards, beach chairs, a wagon to carry stuff, snorkeling equipment, and a bunch of stuff for kids too. Only thing is bedroom air conditioner is a bit noisy but effective in cooling bedroom and another in living room. Maybe bring ear plugs but we slept with no problem. Ceiling fans too. Bed was comfortable but maybe pillows could be softer. This was our first vrbo we tried and We would come back to this place again if we return to Maui. Check out easy with throw out all the trash and put all used dishes in dishwasher, run it leave keys inside and go. Overall excellent place. Good job!!!

Very close to Charley young beach. Easy walk. Shops nearby. Pools are ok to visit- very small though. Kitchen has everything you need- even spices, vinegar, balsamic, olive oil. Unit laundry is a lifesaver. Great collection of coolers, beach chairs, etc..Current vrbo photos are not accurate. There is different furniture than in pictures. It kinda feels like the motel 6 type of condo room. Very dingy and not well taken care of. Too much furniture and everything is dark and kinda depressing colors- browns & blacks. Toilet seat is yellowed. Moldy shower curtain. Bathtub is very dirty and kind of impossible to clean. Dust under bed. Dirty tile baseboards. Marks on the walls. A few hundred bucks could fix these issues. Lots of dirt everywhere - especially in the closets.A/C is loud in bedroom and is on a 4 hour timer-so you wake up sweating in summer. Living room a/c is quieter If you are ok with this- it’s a great stay. Location is awesome- not far to the road to Hana and lots of beaches nearby.

Aloha. I’m very sorry that you felt that way. I’m a little confused though. It appears that I have you the check in information for the wrong condo which, fortunately was empty. The pictures you saw were for condo 2110 but you actually stayed in 2109 which isn’t dark colors but rather sea foam green mostly with lighter colored furniture. So I’m not sure which condo you are commenting on. Maui is an island as you know and being the ground floor, it can get a little dusty. I personally cleaned behind the couch before your arrival. I can’t vouch for under the bed but I will pass it on to my cleaners. Calling my condo a Motel 6 is quite harsh. I put a lot of energy into beach gear and decorations that reflect maui. A motel 6 is nothing like what I provide but you’re entitled to your opinion. I will look into a deep clean but I think what you’re looking for is in Wailea, however it won’t be at my prices. More like $300 /nt. Anyway, safe travels home.

Overall great stay

We enjoyed our stay here, great location in central Kihei, close to shops and restaurants. Walking distance to the beach, quiet and comfortable. We didnt experience any major issues with the property or our stay. Everything went smoothly and honestly we didnt experience anything we could consider a problem . Some notes for the owner, over all, everything was great. We did notice a couple things that were more of a minor annoyances than issues. But nothing we would consider worth avoiding this listing over. - ensure there are enough paper towels/garbage bags. We had roughly 1/3 of a roll of paper towel for a week, and 3 garbage bags for a 9 day stay. It would be nice to have a little extra on these since we did cook in the condo and did our best to bring garbage out regularly so it didnt pile up. But again, no major issue here, we got by with what we had, just ran out of stuff before even the 3rd night. - AC timer in the livingroom should be updated like the one in the bedroom. It again more of an annoyance having to set these regularly, but the one in the lvingroom wasnt operating very well, sometimes the knob had to be wiggled to start the timer. I get why these are in place with the energy cost in hawaii, but this should be updated a bit to make it easier to operate. Outside of these we had not issues, everything was great, bre was attentive to our check in and questions. Everything was clearly labeled and taken care of. This is a great place to stay

Excellent location but a bit uncomfortable

Despite its excellent location and wonderful customer service from Bri, I likely wouldn’t stay here again. The mattress and sofa beds were so uncomfortable (though Bri informed us that she’s replacing the sofa bed), so much so that we had to buy an air mattress and a mattress pad (paid for by Bri. Again - super awesome). There are AC units but they run on a 1 hour timer. For a tropical island with a hot climate, this was very frustrating. I barely slept because it was humid in the room and had to get up every hour to turn the AC back on. The TV in the bedroom was fuzzy. The space felt crowded. If it were just me and my partner, it would have been perfect but there were four of us and we were on top of each other. The lanai and community pool were excellent features.

Wedding guests

The property was recommended by the mother of the bride. There were over 16 guests that chose to stay in the complex and everyone agreed we had the best unit! Everything was perfect and it was hard to come home. A truly lovely vacation and an ideal place to temporarily call home.

A few nights is just right

We selected this location due to its close proximity to the airport, shopping and the beach gear. Lots of families renting properties and those kids take over all the pools. If you have kids, this is great for you. The unit is lightly stocked with supplies compared to other rentals. Bring what you need and assume it’s not in here. Still a decent place for a quick touchdown after flying all day.

I have to say that I am shocked. Please define "lightly stocked" as I provide beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, noodles, beach towels, 2 types of beach umbrellas, a fully stocked kitchen including 3 types of coffee makers, a tea kettle, blender, pots/pans, full compliment of dishes to feed more than 12 people, glasses, cups, rice cooker, blender, baking dishes, BBQ utensils, Apple TV, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, dish soap, laundry soap, complimentary shampoo/conditioner. You have enough toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags to last a week. Beyond that you will have to provide your own. I honestly can't think of what more you need. I go out of my way to provide the tings that would cost a renter the MOST. If I am getting a 3-star rating because you had to purchase more toilet paper then yes, you are correct, I do not supply and endless amount of toilet paper when there is an ABC store just steps away and I would rather put my money towards guests having proper beach equipment and complimentary AC in the bedroom.

Decent place, good location.

Nice little condo. Check in was easy. When entering the unit, found the condo hadn't been cleaned very well. Bathroom was dirty, especially around the toilet area. Floors hadn't been cleaned or vacuumed. Carpets in bedroom haven't been professional cleaned in sometime. Definitely needs improvement. Owner did refund cleaning deposit. Condo was overall comfortable.

I’m very sorry that you experienced this but as I mentioned, this was the first day of a newly hired cleaner. With the massive influx of people coming to Hawaii it has been difficult to find cleaners. They are all working excessive hours to keep up with demand. You failed to mention that I offered to send the cleaner back over. And yes, I did refund the cleaning fee. It is unfortunate that despite my best efforts, you still chose to leave a negative review. I strive to have the best experience for guests, especially when it comes to cleanliness. I immediately notified my cleaner who is aware of the situation with new hires. On this particular occasion the training cleaner had to leave on an emergency and was unable to verify the final job done by the new hire. With capacity at nearly full with back to back bookings, it is extremely disappointing that all my best efforts were met with this negative review. I go out of my way to think of everything for a guests best vacation. It would’ve been nice if you’d have mentioned the good as well.
