We had a wonderful time at this property! The house was bright, clean and comfortable. It was a treat to hear and watch the ocean from the front porch. Wonderful location and very well kept property. We greatly enjoyed our stay. Thanks for having us!

Awesome front covered porch. House was "clean" but the floors need a good scrub. Our feet were very black every night from the floor. Didn't let it bother us. Would stay again next visit.

On the Beach Road

You can see the waves between the houses on the beach and hear them. House is basic but fine. Well stocked kitchen. Carolina Shores was extremely accommodating. I really like the location. Really enjoyed our time there!

Its a great house. Brand new floors and kitchen. Had great kitchen supplies. Location is midpoint between beach access so tough if u have mobility issues. We loved it. Would recommend renting directly from Carolina Shores. It may be less expensive.

However we thought we was without a washer and dryer for a day till we discovered the key to the down stairs with the fly swatter. Things were clean and organized. The only thing that was off was we thought we was going to get a gift from the owner for booking a week stay. We ate out at Dare devils pizza and shopped for gifts in all the local shops. walked every day on the beach and did some fishing. But no fish was caught. We did not want to go home yet ! The week went to fast !

This house has everything you would need. I love that you can see the ocean from the front porch and it’s just a short walk to the beach!

The house is very accurately described and was clean. Nothing about the home will wow you, but had everything we needed for our family of four. Rental company was quick to respond to the only issue we had (dryer wasn't working) and offer a good, alternative solution.

Cute House, Great Location but two Issues

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We initially loved the house. The location was perfect. It was very quiet, cute neighborhood and the beach was not crowded at all. It felt like a private beach. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the inside was cute. Nothing fancy but enough for what we needed. Initially we thought the house was clean because it smelled like bleach when we walked in. However, we realized the house was not vacuumed as there was black dog fur everywhere and we kept finding other people’s hair. It was also dusty. What really bothered me was not only did we find a dead cockroach but the one night I went back out to the kitchen and turned the lights on and a cockroach ran across the floor. I was so freaked out the rest of the trip we slept with the lights on because I was afraid more were going to come out if we turned the lights off. I also was disappointed I couldn’t do laundry before we left because not only is the laundry area outside, down the steps in a dirty storage room but the washing machine was full of mold. The house would have been much better had it been cleaned properly. The property management company was good though because when we got there our toaster wasn’t working and they brought us a new one in about a half hour but they need to get a better cleaning service.

But one thing absolutely upsets me, I called 2 weeks prior about a review of the house having roaches and talked with one of your associates. We'll we come down guess what we had roaches, you did send exterminator over but why did this have to happen. Especially when it was brought to your attention. My wife and I felt uncomfortable all week because of this.

Great Little Spot

Reviewer Comments: We've rented thru Carolina Shores for 5 years I believe, all with the same rental property, because we loved the property, the location, the fact that we can bring our dog and although we are on the other. side of beach road across from the beach, we can clearly see the ocean from our one story raised house because of the breaks in the homes that are oceanfront. It makes for an easy and quick jaunt to the beach. Carolina Shores is really good, and has gotten better in recent years. They provide a welcome bag of goodies and I feel like they do a good job of breaking down all the expenses so that you know what you are paying for.
