Great spot on the mountain given the huge amount of fresh snowfall! Beds comfortable, kitchen well-stocked, plenty of space.

Great location for family to ski and stay

Great location just feet from the Sunset chair lift. Clean, comfortable and home-like feel to the property. We plan on booking again for next year's trip.

Brendan was awesome. The place was perfect for my family of 3 boys. Clean, spacious, comfortable and convenient to mountain. Sunrise village was great. My one son who can’t ski, skated and took shots on net, and we also did a 2 mile hike on snowshoes and cross country skis. Great spot! Thanks B

Awesome condo, lovely host!

The VRBO system screwed up on some logistics but Brendan went above and beyond to help with that and ensure we had a great weekend.This condo is spacious and homey, with a perfect location truly just 10 seconds walk from the trail right above the lift. We would love to stay here again.

Family getaway

Spent a long ski weekend with our three adult children and this condo was perfect for our group. Plenty of room to spread out, literal steps to the lift, clean and all the essentials provided. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome place

We came up for a beautiful fall weekend & loved staying here while enjoying amazing hikes right out the door. The condo was absolutely lovely & we were thrilled to be able to bring our pup. The ONLY downside was that the indoor pool was still listed, but then turned out to be closed (indefinitely) due to covid.

Thrilled to hear the condo met your needs. Fall is a great time to be in VT for sure. The pool is a favorite with many but for safety reasons it has remained closed since the pandemic. Most of our tenants have been happy to get away and easily accepted the reasons for the closure. We hope you enjoyed the Welcome Basket of goodies I dropped off on your check in day.

Wonderful slope side location!

Our family of five enjoyed a long weekend at this wonderful Killington condo. Was super clean and ultra convenient to the slopes. Loved all the extra blankets to cozy up with by the fire at the end of a long day of skiing. We liked that this location is a bit removed from the busy-ness of the lodges and brought all our food in to cook with which worked out well.

Nice Condo

We enjoyed our stay. It happened to be the coldest weekend on the record books so the Sunrise Lifts were closed until Sunday and half the mountain was closed. We found the condo very clean and comfortable. It felt a little far away from town for us which was our only complaint.

Thanks for taking the time to write your review -- we always appreciate feedback as well strive to deliver an experience our guests will enjoy. That said, I am sorry you were not familiar with the Sunrise condos or its proximity to some of the restaurants and bars. Had I known I would have been happy to direct you to one of the many maps of Killington or suggest you Google where you wanted to go to see the drive is about 10 minutes or so.

Well stocked, great communication

The condo was very well stocked, tidy, and comfortable. We loved the mud room area for storing all of our gear. Excellent communication with the property manager. The owner was very flexible when a snow storm required us to stay an extra night.

Cozy ski getaway

Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and pillows, blankets galore. We didn’t want to leave. Well-appointed kitchen for cooking and baking. Great mud room for ski gear. Sunrise lift wasn’t open but super easy access to Bear Mtn Lodge.

President's week

We had a great stay at Sundog Lodge! Everything we needed was in the clean, well-appointed home and the amenities of the Sunrise community were plentiful! Our group loved being able to ski right out in the morning and come home for a long lunch break on these frigid days!!Great snow this week, lots to do on property and Killington in general. Great communication with the host and everything just as expected! Will happily return!

Christmas Present!

We are very grateful for Carol and our host family. The condo was fantastic. We were right at the base of the Sunrise ski lift which made it super easy for our large family to access the mountain. The host was conscientious about the care of the rental and for good reason. Great time.... , would definitey stay again. Happy New Year !

Great time!

Carol was wonderful to work with! The condo was sparkling clean and beds were so comfortable we felt like we were at home. Kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs. Condo has tons a family games in the coffe table- no need to bring a deck of cards. The only negative is we had no snow, only rain😔 Next year will be better and we will definitely be staying in this condo Thank you!

Comfortable and Clean

This is a very nice condo, with comfortable furniture and large rooms. I picked it because we hoped to ski out - not wanting to spend time in the lodge with Covid. But the lift next to the condo was not running - they do not make snow there.

Michele - Nice to hear you enjoyed the condo and it met your needs. Sorry that your experience was impacted by the lift not running and if i could have waved a magic wand and changed that I would have. But COVID, low snow count and staffing shortages were stronger forces affecting the lift schedule during your stay. I also want to note that Sunrise does indeed make snow on this trail, contrary to what you stated. We get the disappointment but we ask that all renters be reminded this is still a pandemic and sometimes things happen that are out of our control. For sure-thing ski in/out conditions please consider booking in February next year.

Met my expectations

The unit was right next to the Sunrise lift. You can’t get any closer to it. There were plenty of paper towels, napkins, condiments, etc. The washer, dryer and dishwasher all operated with no problems. Overall, I was pleased with the unit and the communication with the owner before and during our stay.

Well Appointed Ski Getaway

We had a fantastic ski vacation thanks in large part to our lovely accommodations. This unit was clean and very well appointed. Everything we needed was available in the unit. While we didn’t do much cooking while there, they had everything available if you choose to dine in. Plenty of towels and nice linens for bed and bath. Loved the large mud room that had space for everyone to fit all at once and lots of hooks to hang up ski clothes to dry. Brendan was fantastic with communication both leading up to our stay and while we were there. Neighbors were lovely as well. Highly recommend.

Great experience - First visit to Killington slopes

We had the pleasure of staying at this ski-in/ski-out condo for a long weekend, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The location is absolutely unbeatable—right on the slopes, so we were able to hit the runs first thing in the morning and ski back to the condo whenever we needed a break. The condo itself was spotless and very well-maintained, with all the amenities we could need for a comfortable stay.As first-timers in the area, we really appreciated how responsive and helpful the owner was. From providing detailed instructions for everything in the condo to offering tips on the best local spots to visit, they went above and beyond to make sure we had a seamless stay. It made our trip even more enjoyable knowing we could rely on them for anything.If you're looking for convenience, comfort, and excellent customer service, I highly recommend this place! Will definitely be booking again.

Another memorable ski trip

Another memorable ski trip at killington Location is excellent! Even though the condo trails were not open yet, getting to Bear base was simple. A few minute trip up the street. Bear has the easiest parking of all the lots so it was not a big deal for us. The condo is exactly as described with plenty of room for our group of 7. Unit was clean and had many well thought out features. Condo was stocked with soaps, lots of towels and household items. Felt right at home from the minute we arrived. My group are all skiers but we did wish we booked an extra day to explore the many things the activity center and condo area has to offer. Would highly recommend this condo unit
