We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It was very cozy and we enjoyed having the private patio. It was very centrally located so it was easy to come back to the apartment throughout the day and then go back out around the town. The hosts were very accommodating and even helped bring our bags in and later take us to the airport. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Beautiful apartment with a lovely garden space we used for morning coffee and evening drinks. Our hosts met us when we arrived and personally showed us around the place, which included everything we needed. The location was perfect-close to the promenade and many wonderful restaurants. We highly recommend!!

Our stay at this apartment could not have been better. Karla and her husband, Stefan, met us at the nearby parking lot--for which they gave us easy and clear instructions on how to find it--then walked us to the apartment. The home was comfortable, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed for our 5 day visit. The kitchen was well stocked. The backyard and back porch were so relaxing, especially for breakfast. Our hosts already had some food and drink items in the refrigerator for us. Grocery stores were close by as well as great restaurants and pastry shops. It was an easy walk to Old Town, Diocletian's Place, and the harbor. In the other direction it was also close to Marjan Hill. We have stayed at many rent-by-owner places, this was one of the best--convenient, comfortable, and great hosts. If we return to Split, this is where we will stay again. -- T. M. (USA)

The apartment was lovely! And the owners were friendly and helpful - they even let us check out late which made our lives easier.Location was perfect - walked everywhere!My favorite thing was the garden and the grape vines - loved picking fresh grapes while droning coffee on the porch.I would stay here again, yes!

We highly recommend this place. Karla was wonderful to work with and the home is absolutely beautiful! Karla thought of everything when furnishing it. Our only caveat is parking around the area can be tricky.

Our stay in Split was wonderful. The city has a lot to offer and the apartment is just as pictured. Every detail is done to perfection. The gardens are amazing and a wonderful place to have coffee in the mornings.

We throughly enjoyed our 6 night stay at Karla’s apartment. The location was within walking distance to all of old town and the apartment was charming, cozy and clean. Karla had every amenity one could need. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property, convenient location

This apartment is in beautiful condition, nicely furnished, with excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. The beds are comfortable, and there is a beautifully manicured back garden with grape vines and other fruit trees. We had a short walk to reach Old Town and a variety of excellent restaurants. The hosts were friendly and welcoming.

Live like a local

We loved this property! It is so quaint and you feel like you are living amongst the Croatians. It is a nice walk to the waterfront. We loved the outdoor area too! It was great for playing cards and having a glass of wine.

This lovely apartment is in a great location to explore Old Town Split. It has been beautifully renovated with thoughtful touches. This home was an unusual find with three bedrooms and bathrooms as well as a private large outdoor space. Our group of three couples enjoyed exploring Split and the surrounding area during the day and relaxing in the apartment in the evenings. Karla was a wonderful host and very responsive from booking through checkout. Her husband Stefan provided limousine service from the airport at a fair price which made our trip so much easier. Karla met us at the apartment to show us around and answer any questions about the apartment or the area. Everything was very clean and the kitchen well stocked with dishes and utensils needed to prepare simple meals. If you’re considering this VRBO, do not hesitate to book quickly before someone else snatches it up.

Fabulous historic home!

Karla and Stefan could not have been nicer. Meet us when arrived, walked us through the home, and even had dinner for us. This historic home with a beautiful garden exceeded our expectations. And the location was perfect. We loved everything about it!

Excellent property!

We were a party of 6 ( 3 couples in our 60's). The property was perfect for us! 3 masters with bathrooms. Close to most things, very clean and excellent communication with the owner. Highly recommend!

Apartment was in a great location and very clean! Easy access to get to port and old town. Host was easy to keep in touch with. Host left drinks and snacks which we very much appreciated. Charming small apartment. Host put up baby bed for us, which we really appreciated, but would not say apartment is child friendly. Very small which is typical for a city.
