Beautiful place

We had a wonderful stay here. The apartment is beautiful and the location is perfect, right on the Seine. Great communication with the owner made it a very easy stay. Highly highly recommend!

Excellent and beautiful place

Stunning views, great location and Caroline is the best. Would recommend this place to anyone. Looking out the window to see The Eiffel Tower, the Seine, Norte Dame. Spectacular.

Excellent location

We could not have chosen a better location to stay in Paris. Plenty of room for our family and a lovely view! Caroline was also very welcoming & responsive.

Very well managed with a very attentive owner. The location was great and very easy to walk to nearby stores. I highly suggest Aux Petits Cakes on the other side of the block. Also close to major metro lines allowing convenient access to major attractions.

Great location!

This is a very old but maintained building. Keep in mind the unit is on the 3rd floor and no elevator. Would not be good for older people with much luggage.

Thank you Chris for your review. I understand that these 3 floors were maybe a bit hard for you. I’m sorry if that was a hassle. As I mentioned it in the description, the building in which you have stayed is listed as a historical site. Therefore, it is impossible to do any changes to the core of the building. Hence a lift. I do emphasize that I usually help guests, when possible, with their luggage’s. I do understand from what you told me, that you enjoyed your stay and liked the flat. I hope you appreciated also all my little attentions and help. That is for me, the main objective. I was very happy to meet you and I hope to see you again. Have a great day Caroline

In the heart of Paris

Our stay was comfortable and welcoming and was well equipped with outlet adapters, guidebooks, and treats. All seven of us slept well, there was plenty of seating, and the view was fantastic. We really appreciated the well appointed coffee and tea station and the breakfast items that were available to us. One block away was a fabulous boulangerie and also amazing gelato. Caroline was helpful and kind. We would easily stay there again.

Feel like a Parisian

I booked this flat because my favorite hotel in Paris was booked and the location is so sublime. It was a delightful surprise to find a spacious, charming, elegant residence with a professional and gracious host. Many stairs to the residence but they are wide and easily managed (with help from Caroline with luggage). I highly recommend.

Chez Caroline is Paris at its Best

We had a perfect time at Caroline's beautiful, ancient, and commodious home on the Seine. The apartment is spacious and exquisitely appointed, and Caroline is a perfect host. We were a family of 5- grandparents, daughter, and two grandchildren. All had their "space" and space to gather as a family. The apartment is conveniently located near great restaurants, metro, playground, shopping, left and right bank. It was, utterly, a perfect vacation. We thank you Caroline, for seeing to our every need and for opening your flat to those who crave an old world space with modern accoutrements. Bravo!

Fabulous Stay along the Seine

We were stunned at how beautiful the 17th century building was, right along the Seine. And inside, the windows look out onto the river and central Paris, leaving a sense of spaciousness. The bateux mouches go by periodically, which is festive and fun; otherwise, the apartment is beautiful and quiet.This apartment is homey and very well organized, with separate sections and doors, making it the perfect place for our group: a mom, her son, and his friend. My son stayed in the living room, his friend stayed in one bedroom (that could accommodate two people easily), and I stayed in the back bedroom. We all had different schedules, so having a separate kitchen worked perfectly.This feels homey, not like a hotel, as the home is decorated and lived in. The kitchen was perfect with all the coffee and tea one could imagine, and all the pots and pans one might need. We cooked and ate at home a few nights.The neighborhood is amazing: the trails along both sides of the Seine are the best way to get around Paris, in my view. I would walk out going east one day, west the other, and went running on the pedestrian paths several times during our stay. The shops on the islands carry everything you need.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chez Caroline, and you will too!

A magical place in Paris

Caroline's 17th century building is incredible. It is located very centrally, but was also quite peaceful in the evenings. I would highly recommend anyone staying in Paris to stay here!

Fabulous Apartment in Fantastic Location

The location is fabulous - the apartment is clean, bright and safe. It is very close to lively restaurants, cafes and easy to walk to many of the attractions - Notre Dame, Louvre, Le Marais and many more. You can even see the Eiffel Tower from the large windows. Caroline is very helpful and accommodating and went over and above to ensure we enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend staying here primarily because of the views you definitely know you are in Paris!

It was such a wonderful property in a wonderful, quiet location. Caroline, our host, was kind and helpful with advice. She has a beautiful apartment with beautiful views and left us the most delicious chocolates and basic groceries. I would love to stay at her flat again one day!

Ein perfekter Kurzurlaub

Der Aufenthalt im Objekt war außerordentlich! Die Gastgeberin Caroline ist in allen Belangen sehr bemüht und freundlich. Die Lage der Wohnung ist absolut zentral und man von dort zu Fuss viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in Paris erkunden. Die Wohnung hat einen Atemberaubend Blick auf Paris, vor allem am Abend und in der Nacht. Wir würden immer wieder diese Wohnung buchen.

Fantastic Apartment on Ile Saint Louis

What a fabulous apartment!!!! Chez Caroline is in a perfect location in Center City Paris overlooking the Seine River. But the great location only scratches the surface of this fantastic apartment. The apartment is beautiful and well decorated. Although there were only 3 people in our party, the apartment is large enough to handle 4 to 6 guests comfortably. And with a full-size kitchen, we were able to have breakfast and lunch in the comfort of the apartment (although we ate most meals out). There were numerous amenities near the apartment including a grocery store, wine store, and numerous small restaurants. The residents in the surrounding apartments were locals who were very nice and added to that feel of “living in Paris with the locals”. And finally, Caroline was the best host with whom I have ever worked. She had a Welcome Package that orients guests to Paris as well as the vicinity around the apartment. And she was always easily accessible during our stay when we had questions. I cannot more highly recommend Chez Caroline. In fact, we have already planned a return trip to Paris next year and plan on staying at Chez Caroline, again. Thanks for a wonderful time and place to stay, Caroline!!!
