A very roomy cabin with excellent views! You'll be able to watch clouds roll over the mountains from your bedroom window and balcony. There's a loft area with a desk if you need to work remotely. There's also 3 nice bedrooms. I'll be back to rent it again soon!

This is our second stay at this house (2025 & 2026). We enjoyed our stay although this year we noticed that it was not cleaned as well as before. There was dirt/popcorn/stuff on the floor under the sofa/coffee table. We notified the hosts and they were great about responding with apologies and stated that they would talk with the cleaning staff. We also encountered a bear both days we were there late in the afternoon. The bear came up on the deck and the first day opened the screen door until it was frightened off. The second day our dog scared it off. It was a little unnerving but the guards at the gate told us it has been happening. Overall, we would rent this house again. The whole area is beautiful and it was quiet (even with the bear:) ).

Thank you for choosing to stay with us again! We truly appreciate your continued visits and are so glad you enjoyed your time in the area. We sincerely apologize that the cleanliness of the home did not meet the expectations set during your previous stay. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and allowing us the opportunity to address it with our cleaning team. We can certainly understand how encountering a bear so close to the home could be unsettling. Wildlife is part of the beauty of the Lake Lure area, but we understand that unexpected encounters can be a little unnerving! Thank you again for your kind feedback and for considering the home for a future visit. We would love to welcome you back!

The bedroom layout was good for our family needs. We did need to request three fans because the first day we could not get a main floor cooled down.

Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear the bedroom layout worked well for your family's needs. We appreciate your patience regarding the temperature on the main level. During your stay, our area was experiencing an exceptional heat wave, which made it take longer than usual for the home to cool down after being unoccupied. We're happy we were able to provide additional fans to help with your comfort, and we're glad the air conditioning was ultimately able to cool the main level. Thank you for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back for another visit! MR LAKE LURE VACATION RENTALS

The pictures of the property were misleading. My husband and I are older and I am scheduled for hip replacement surgery in October. I learned a lesson this time. I relied on pictures rather than asking about stairs. Also we noticed evidence of roofers in the yard. Pieces of old shingles in the trees and roofing nails in the driveway. After our visit we discovered a nail in our tire and had to get the tire repaired.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry the home and stairs were not what you expected. So future renters do not get discouraged, there is about 5 steps you walk up to get in the home. We’re also sorry to hear about the roofing debris you noticed and the issue with your tire. We take that concern seriously and will be looking into the area to make sure any remaining roofing nails or debris are addressed. Thank you again for staying with us and for bringing these concerns to our attention. MR LAKE LURE VACATION RENTALS

Thank you for the amazing review. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. To clarify for future guests, we do have bears in the area as they often forage for food. We kindly ask our guests to be mindful of this by locking up all trash or keeping it indoors, and by thoroughly cleaning grills after use. We look forward to hosting you again in. MR. Nice stay near lake lure

We spent the weekend here for a wedding at rumbling bald resort, and this was a quick 5 minute drive from the lake. It was clean and spacious with plenty of room for our family. It did have some windy roads so we recommend getting there in the daylight.

The host was very welcoming and quick response to any questions. They checked on us throughout our stay. Everything about the house was perfect for our family! The only thing I need to add is that the basement needs to be sprayed for spiders. We killed 4/5 large spiders there. I did not let that influence my rating as the beautiful home does sit right in the middle of nature!

Nice cabin on a fun resort

The property was clean and well stocked. Check in was a breeze and had good communication with property manager. Wi-Fi can be a little tricky with several people on, but if you plug in directly to the router, connection is fine for work.
