This cute little beach house had a lot of good about it, but it also needs some TLC. We loved the location, in a beautiful neighborhood close to a quiet part of the beach. We also loved having the bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas to use and the front porch was lovely each morning. The host was kind and generous. The house itself is in need of care. The master bed was horrific. The mattress itself was not comfortable and much too soft and each time myself or my husband would move in the bed, it would wobble and squeak. We got very little sleep in that bed. It was so bad that we ended up sleeping in the twin beds after the first night, which was certainly not ideal. The second night, the twin bed I stayed in was not clean, I'll spare the details, we cleaned it but it made for another rough night. There are several places throughout the house that need some love and look worn out or were fixed in haphazard ways. I realize this cute little house has been rented for over twenty years, so wear and tear is normal. I just wish I had been able to read a review that gave a genuine picture of what the house itself was like inside. So, here's that review. Cute house, but in need of some TLC after 20 years of renting.
