Great layout & tons of space

First time staying here and would absolutely stay there again. We’ve rented probably 15 homes in Galena and this is one we will definitely try to get again

Great couples retreat!

House was perfect for five couples. Bedrooms each have their own baths. Kitchen and living area was spacious. Only downside was proximity to neighbors.

Girls weekend 2025

Great house! Plenty of room for 2 or more things to be going on at once. Excellent communication with H.A.L.M. rentals. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen that is stocked with anything you need. Talking about returning next winter.

Nice Location and Stay

We had a very nice stay. Beds were very comfortable. Had a hot tub concern and it was fixed within 24 hours. It was very hot the week we were there and the air conditioning struggled to keep the main floor comfortable by late afternoon. The floors in the kitchen/dining area were not the cleanest when we arrived, but the rest of the home was clean. The kitchen was very well equipped with items for cooking. Overall a nice place and great location!

Beautiful Get Away!

This house is so beautiful and roomy! We had 12 adults and a few children and there was room for everyone and not crowded at all. Plenty of dishes and cooking supplies, very large grill and an open deck and a screened in deck. The clubhouse had two pools and plenty of chairs and umbrellas to go around. The Galena Territory is so beautiful and downtown is very quaint with lots of places to eat. I would have to say that Dirty Gurts was my favorite. We will definitely be coming back!

Great place to get away!

The home was perfect for our 3 families to get away from all the school projects and travel sports! All five bedrooms have full bathrooms which was excellent for each family. The kids LOVED the recreation center with indoor pool and basketball court, ping pong and pool. The center was a mile and 1/2 from this home and very easy to drive to. The home was so beautiful and clean--the pictures do not do the place justice. We utilized the grill, fireplace and hot tub and the kids had their own TV room downstairs with an XBox for games. We would for sure go back to this home!!

Perfect for our family reunion

We rented this house (and the property next door) for an extended weekend. Twelve adults and ten kids fit perfectly into the two houses. It was nice to have king beds in each bedroom, rather than the typical array of queen and twin bunk beds that a lot of large rental properties always seem to have. The Galena Ridge Territory had plenty activities to keep the kids entertained. We had great communication with the owner. He responded quickly to the couple of communications we had over the weekend. The house was well maintained and provisioned very appropriately. Almost every child expressed a desire to come back "Every Year", and we'll likely try to come back next year.

Perfect size for Girls Weekend

The house was perfect size for 9 adult females in their mid thirties trying to escape their children and work life :) The full bathroom in each bedroom is WONDERFUL! So much space in kitchen and living room to relax and catch up. Short drive to downtown Galena. Hot tub was a nice bonus. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook. We cooked a fully loaded breakfast one morning. If there was one thing I wish was better - the WiFi is not the most reliable, so make sure you have a backup if you have work to do. We did NOT make the trip to be on our phones all day so it was not a huge deal! We will definitely look into again for our next trip to Galena!

Our stay was just about perfect.

This house and the entire Galena Territory was perfect for our Christmas stay. Our party of 12 family members had plenty of room. The large main floor with open kitchen, dining room, and living room, was a great place to spend most of our time. Having five bedrooms all with their own bath and shower helped everyone get along well. The Owner’s Club, with swimming pool, game room, and basketball court gave everyone in the family a memorable time. We didn’t spend much time in Galena, because the house was all we needed, but what little we saw made us want to visit again someday. The only negative was that the home WiFi did not work at all during our stay. It’s amazing how reliant we all are on it! The fact that it didn’t work was definitely felt. All in all we definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful stay in Galena.

The house was great for our group of nine adults. Well-equipped, beautiful high ceilings, plenty of space for all of us, and the ability to have everyone eat together at the large dining table was fantastic. Host was great to work with and if we're ever back in Galena we'd definitely stay here again. Thanks for the great Thanksgiving memories!

Well maintained and comfortable. It couldn't have been nicer to stay there.

Exceptionally well maintained, quiet and comfortable for our group of seniors. We had a bit of trouble finding our way around Galena Territories, but that was because it was huge. We wish we has more time to stay and enjoy all the amenities, but maybe next time. We certainly would stay here again. It was just lovely.

Christmas Holiday

Our family decided to go away for our Christmas celebration this year. Unfortunately due to Illness, one family was unable to attend. While it wasn’t the celebration we had hoped for, those of us who were able to attend had a wonderful time! We even had snow on the day we were having our Christmas celebration —- A White Christmas
 which didn’t happen for those celebrating on December 24/25th this year! We would definitely go back to celebrate Christmas again!

Very well appointed house, great for family reunion

Surprise 40th birthday get away!

This house was perfect for us and 4 other couples to spend a weekend celebrating my husband’s 40th. The kitchen was so well stocked with cookware. The dining areas were spacious! The hot tub was a great temperature! Every couple enjoyed their rooms & having their own bathrooms! Definitely would stay here again!

It was perfect for our get together

We are a group of friends - going back 35 years. The VRBO met our needs 100%. Having 5 bedrooms - each with their own bathroom was great for the 5 couples. We ate all of our meals here. The kitchen was well-stocked with the necessary dishes, etc for this. We spent most of our time in the living area visiting and laughing. Due to the fact that it was 90+ and very humid out, we didn't get to use the hot tub. This VRBO is located in a beautiful setting in a quiet neighborhood. I would recommend it to anyone!
