Perfect summer holiday!

We absolutely loved our holiday. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable and clean. We especially liked the trees and bush land setting. We even had a visit from a kangaroo one evening. Walking to he beach and shop was very easy. We would love to come back and stay again.

I can say that he Straddie experience was a highlight of there trip. The house on Billa street fitted their purpose perfectly. The 2 and half year old could roam around delighting in the wildlife even spiders. One evening sitting out the back a Kangaroo visited with a Joey in pouch. This was the icing on the cake after a terrific week. The house was perfect.

A very quite little pocket of Point Lookout with a peaceful backyard looking out onto bushland. Friendly roo visits from time to time and the outdoor shower with warm water is a winner.

The remotes for the spare bedroom controls both rooms and the single beds are very uncomfortable and too short as there is no room for tall people's feet to go

Beautiful peaceful little oasis

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had such a nice stay at shardlow. It exceeded our expectations completely. Can be hard to find a good house for a family with two young toddlers but this was perfect. Comfy but not tiny. A perfect little garden with beautiful kookaburras that the girls loved seeing everyday. So quiet and peaceful. I have been staying at starddie for over 30 years and it’s refreshing to find a house you can actually afford that isn’t a dump or falling apart. Thanks for the help ray white in finding our little family such a wonderful holiday home. We will hopefully see you again next year

Reviewer Comments: Overall very happy with our stay , the house is a good location close to beach,hotel,walks.House is well appointed re kitchen , BBQ & linen,washing machine &dryer.A little difficult to acess shower - 3 steps!I would like to see a vaccum cleaner(Dyson Style) available & a battery air broom/blower as outside dirt easily track inside. A hose would be great to wash down car, could be left in laundry tub for security? Ceiling fans in bedrooms are great,but maybe the lounge area next? TV & free WiFi are good too.

The wildlife was a treat with nesting curlews at the front and kangaroos out the back. Voucher to local cafe was a nice surprise, as was the recently upgraded bathroom. We hope to return soon!

The house is relatively in shade but ceiling fans only no A/Con . It’s well appointed otherwise, all amenities etc , new kitchen & reasonable sized fridge/freezer .

Would love to return if this was fixed (not just painted over). It’s a health hazard.

A property that is in need of some attention.

This property is in need of a good clean and refresh. It is close to the beach but a bit of a walk to the main Street. We would not book this house again.

LOVELY QUIET OPEN PLAN HOUSE SET AMONGST THE TREES

Nice open plan house. Very quiet street. Walking distance to the local pub and beaches. Well equipped kitchen with everything you would need for a lengthy stay. Good back yard area with seating and BBQ. 5 stars for the comfortable mattress in the main bedroom. Was quite clean when we arrived. Only negative is that you need to bring your own soap and soap-on-tap for a shower. I didnt read it in the email I was sent. However when I complained I received lots of everything. But remember to bring your own soap

Great Service

Great service from Ray White - friendly, efficient and thorough with wide range of accom available. House and fittings were a little tired, but it was the cheapest off peak rental at Pt Lookout. House is in a great location - vacant blocks on either side ensured a feeling of being in the bush (koala and kangaroos helped).
