Situé au bord de la mer, ce condo de 2 chambres à coucher et 2 salles de bains se trouve dans le centre de la belle Longboat Key, une île à quelques kilomètres au nord de Sarasota. LaPlaya Condominiums possède une plage privée, une piscine couverte avec solarium et des barbecues au bord de la mer, pour que vous ne manquiez pas une minute du coucher de soleil. L'unité a une cuisine entièrement équipée, laveuse et sécheuse, et tous les draps et serviettes de plage sont fournis. Bienvenue dans notre style de vie insulaire!

Le plan d'étage ouvert de notre condo est confortablement aménagé pour refléter la vue sur le sable et la mer depuis le spacieux salon / salle à manger et la cuisine, avec une véranda en front de mer et une salle de bains au premier étage avec douche. Le deuxième étage comprend la chambre principale avec lit king-size et un balcon idéal pour les couchers de soleil ou l'observation des dauphins et des lits jumeaux dans la chambre d'amis.

The unit was so clean and mere steps to the beach! The available beach loungers and supplied beach towels were so convenient. We enjoyed playing cards on the lanai in the evening. The condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The on-site manager was kind and professional. We didn’t utilize the pool, but it looked lovely with plenty of comfortable loungers available. The complex is in close proximity to many restaurants.

Great vacation

First time to Longboat Key and we had a wonderful time. The condo is beautiful and was the perfect size for a family of 4. We will definitely be back.

Relaxing trip to see the sun

We had a great time at La Playa. The beach is beautiful. The condo is nice, well stocked and quiet. Will definitely stay there again. Maybe next February.

Best booking with vrbo yet! But Disturbing rental agent that put me through mental anguish by threatening to terminate my rental because I had a difference of opinion. I was very professional but asked for clarification on the billing. She said that I was probably the “ Type of person that they did not want at their resort” I was astonished and at the end of our phone conversation she dismissed me and then hung up. She would not answer when I recalled so I went to VRBO and they had a difficult time getting in contact with her as well. Vrbo was able to confirm my confirmation but it took 2 days in limbo before I was told that the reservation was ok . Then I received a snitty email from the rental agent putting me on notice that she was not going to correspond with me and that I was put on notice of her power to terminate our stay. Vrbo said the she had the right to terminate even after confirmation!! This all originated by a billing inquiry! I am 70 years old and not a difficult person to get along with. I was taking my ailing friend to enjoy the beach but was put through anguish by this property manager. What a disappointment .

Cozy, clean, and quaint

Great retro old Florida feel. Nice small complex that is well maintained for an older property. We enjoyed walking straight out to the beach as well as having the pool as an option when it was windy/chilly on the beach. Our unit was nicely updated and we didn’t have another unit above us. We spoke with another renter and she said some of the same families come back year after year. Just as an fyi, the property is in the flight path of the airport but we got used to hearing the planes after a day or two.

Perfect for a relaxing getaway

It was just as described, if not even better. Very quiet couldn't hear any of the other occupants at all. Just about 50 steps to a very quiet, relaxing beach. We will be back! I am from Tennessee and have been to the 30a area and would much rather prefer this area over the hustle and bustle of all the touristy things up there!

Just as pictured

We had a great stay. Check in/ out was easy. Property location was perfect. Unit was just as pictured. Unit was clean but some surfaces appeared to not have been wiped down or were not wiped down well-( several side tables with water rings). All the essentials were provided- towels beach chairs and umbrella. Getting to the beach was as easy as stepping out the back door. We enjoyed the pool as well as the ocean. The Family room TV stopped working 2 days before end of our trip due to a faulty HDMI cable- it had previously been taped together and it had come apart and wires were exposed - was a bit of a disappointment not having TV downstairs to watch news in morning but we managed without it. Would definitely stay again.

Great beach location

This place had everything we needed. Cupboards were stocked with every pan, dish, bowl, utensil you could possibly need. Lots of pillows on the beds and extra towels. They even had starter supplies like bars of soap, dishwasher soap and laundry soap which made it convenient. The master was very spacious. We really loved the big blinds in the master when the sun got hot on that side. We could choose to either hang out on the beach or by the pool. There were plenty of beach chairs. No having to secure a beach chair like other places. Plenty of beach umbrellas to choose from. This condo had extra books to read and games to play if we wanted something extra to do. Publix was just down the road for groceries. I would recommend this place to friends. We have only one recommendation for the owners and that would be to upgrade the living room TV to a Smart TV. We enjoy watching apps like Netflix, Hulu and Apple TV. Whenever we wanted to watch those we had to watch it from the bedroom.

Fall Break Family Getaway

LaPlaya 102b was the perfect place to get away and relax. We loved the closeness to the water and loungers provided for the beach. The condo was equipped with everything we needed and we slept sound in the comfy beds. We would definitely stay again!
