Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a good experience. I would recommend letting people on B and C not to dump sand or coolers on their deck. On multiple occasions while sitting on the deck we got water and sand dumped on us.

We're so glad you enjoyed your Christmas vacation in Sandpiper 13A. We regret that the pool was not available to you during your stay. Oftentimes, repairs have to be scheduled last minute when supplies and labor become available. We hope that you will keep Bender Realty and Sandpiper in mind for your next visit to the Gulf Coast!

Our stay in 13A

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very good stay. The improvements such as plumbing...new bathroom...appliances made to upgrade the condo were very good. However, the bedroom furniture needs a major overhaul. Broken drawers and outdated beds/mattresses make it hard to be comfortable. The condo was spotless when we arrived.

Great experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have been staying at the Sandpiper for many years. Generally try to book 13A as owners put a lot of effort into keeping anemnities up to date. This condo is very nice. Prices have gone up a lot over the years. I understand this is necessary, but I noticed several empty rooms this year (middle of June) which is not typical. I hope this doesn't continue to be the trend.

Sandpiper 13A is a great unit in a property that is known for its friendly atmosphere, and we certainly appreciate your repeat patronage. We see that you like to come at various times of the year, from mid-June to the latter part of August, when rates drop. Booking closer to arrival, as you have done at times, can help you get a better rate. Booking trends are shifting, but we are always glad to see our Sandpiper friends!

A Little Piece of Paradise

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a group of 30 that came to see my youngest daughter get married on the beach. All the rooms were a little different but all were large enough for us to do what we needed. They were basically clean, could have used a little elbow grease around floorboards and on the walls but I'm a clean freak so that just may be me. We had an amazing time the entire week. All our neighbors were kind and joined in on the celebration.

Great condo.

It’s a great condo right on the beach. They have a great pool, and security there is nice. My only problem is that after 10pm, you’re apparently not allowed to be outside. The security guard they have, granted was an older man, but continuously asked if we were going inside. Even though we were quietly sitting on the deck, talking after the kids went to bed. Even though there were all kind of younger kids running around, causing chaos and raving all over the property. We weren’t even allowed to be outside. We were told “10pm is quiet time, and we expect that rule to be followed.” None of us were even being loud? We just sat, drinking a few beers and talked about plans for the zoo the following days. I won’t return to Sandpiper.

13A Sandpiper

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at the Sandpiper for years and often in 13A. While most of the amenities were ok, here were the fixable issues that need addressing:The room was not clean. Bedspreads were filthy and actually changed colors when we washed them. The bathrooms were not clean and required us to clean them.Carpet was not vacuumed. The dryer was broken and noisy...we called maintenance and nothing was done. The second bathroom shower has a drainage issue and has for years. Been reported more than once.

Pros and Cons

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As a repeat visitor I was always satisfied with the Sandpiper until this time. The condo was well decorated and tastefully refurbished, but the floors had obviously not been vacuumed, swept, nor mopped. The counter top had spilled, dried coffee beneath the coffee pot. The air-conditioner was broken but was immediately repaired. The largest drawback is that this property is not smoke free. Smokers on the verandas completely destroyed the ambiance. The no-pet, parking and curfew rules were not enforced. I shall not return which is disappointing to us because of the unique, beach accessible design, and good experiences in the past. (Has smoking always been allowed?)

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We come every year and stay in 13A every year..The unit was clean. Great condo and great location. Our only issues with the unit is the beds are so big in the 2nd bdrm that you can’t get into the closet. Also, the chest has a broken drawer. Why can’t you heat the pool? It’s too cold every year. Makes no sense. Everyone commented on this issue.

Retirement requirement

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the kitchen was stocked enough kitchen utensils, glasses and plates, but lacked towels. The view of the gulf and beach was amazing but at times hard to see due to dirty windows. Maybe a window washing service once in awhile would have helped. Also the unit could replace those wicker chairs with a better option.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo has all the amenities you would need. Updated appliances. Ice maker is slow to make ice. Condo needs a broom for the floor. Beach rental chairs need to not take the entire beach front so the patrons can have access as well. There were 31 people in our group with 8 condos and we could not get a set in the front row.
