Another lovely stay

This is a perfect cottage for our family (including our dog!) Second time we've stayed and the addition of the air conditioning and microwave were upgrades I didn't realize we needed. Wonderful!

A Slice of Heaven

The proximity to the Lake and the Rail Trail was perfect! Emily had all the bases covered to entertain from board games to Netflix. It was our slice of heaven.

Fantastic Stay!

This was our second time staying at this property and had a great experience both times! It is close to the beach and has a nice quiet backyard with a patio, fireplace and hammock! The new A/C unit was refreshing after a long day in the sun and the place was super clean and had all the necessities. The pwner is super friendly and accommodating and the bunkie is great for extra sleeping space. Highly, highly recommend!

Fabulous Experience

This was our 3rd year staying at this property and once again we absolutely loved it. My son celebrated his 4th birthday during our stay and he absolutely loves the backyard hammock. The proximity to the best beach can't be beat. The property manager is friendly, helpful, and very responsive. Fabulous, fabulous experience! Can't wait for next year's stay!

Lovely Week

My family and I had a fantastic time. The cottage is meticulously clean. We felt so cozy during the night sitting around the wood burning fire and it was nice having a bbq in the sunshine the next day. Emily (the owner) is wonderful. She even had wine and chocolates waiting for us as a welcoming! We had a wonderful time and would recommend this to anyone!

Fantastic stay

Our stay at Emily’s Southampton cottage was beautiful. The place is very clean and cozy and well stocked. I love that it has an air conditioner.! The location was great with a beautiful yard and less then a 5 minute walk to a stunning beach.. Emily was very kind and thoughtful and very responsive. Arriving with a bottle of wine and chocolates and a kind note waiting was a beautiful touch and gave us a very warm welcoming. We will definitely stay again

Perfect cottage!

Loved your cottage Emily! I’ve never been on south beach before (and I’m from Southampton) so it was a pleasant, quieter surprise😊 Your kitchen is stocked with pretty much everything you need which was nice because you never know what you could be making for dinner so it made meal prepping super easy. We enjoyed a few fires together, which we all love doing, as we had a trailer when my kids were smaller so it reminded us of those times. Thank you. Over all we really loved being “home” and your place made that possible for us. 🙏💕

Bad and Good

I ended up leaving after the 2nd night (and lost both my money and my vacation). Whether or not you'll be happy depends on why you're there. I was there so I could take my dog to the beach. (The host knew this in advance) After I booked I learned there are no dogs allowed on the beach. The host reassured me, saying there were dog beaches. One dog beach is full of slag (incl fishing hooks & line) and not safe. The other dog beach is comprised of big round rocks impossible to walk on (not safe - I fell). The response of the host was, "I'm sorry the dog beaches didn't meet your expectations" - I actually wasn't expecting much, and basic safety is not "expectations", so I was rather unhappy with this response and the lack of honesty at the outset. The whole thing could have been avoided if she'd been straight with me. I would have rescheduled to October and it would have been great and I would have been a regular customer. As it is, I won't be going back. If you are not bringing Fido you will enjoy the property. The location is great, the kitchen is well equipped, and the host leaves a nice welcome. You do have to take out the garbage (including the garbage of the people before you if they didn't stay until garbage day). You are expected to clean, which I thought was reasonable, but I did find myself cleaning things when I wasn't the one who made them dirty. The place is tidy and in good repair. There's a fire pit and firewood outside as well as extra outside chairs which is nice if you're going with friends. It was nice and quiet.

Laurie, I was honest with you from the outset. The majority of my guests this summer brought their dogs and were thrilled with the beaches and trails they were able to explore with them. Again - I'm sorry the dog beaches didn't meet your expectations.

Cosy Southampton Cottage

The cottage is a very clean 2 bedroom space with a bunkie, a big yard and a 3 minute walk to a private beach. Emily was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. I would certainly recommend this to friends and family.

Fun in the Sun

We enjoyed our impromptu stay at this cottage. It was exactly as described. The cottage was very clean, and had everything we needed. Emily answered our questions quickly, and was very helpful. Nice and near to Southampton's South Beach.

Cozy cottage

Great little cottage, location was excellent as it was only a short walk to the beach. It didn't have a microwave which was a pain but we managed. Since there is no air conditioning the cottage heats up pretty quick on hot days and when using the oven. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Beach and Sunsets

I really enjoyed my five and a half days at Southampton and my daughters did as well. The big plus was the short distance to the beach and the good weather. However, O did not like having to bring all the linen, including towels , blankets, and pillows. Since my one daughter was flying in from Vancouver and the other very busy with an upcoming move I had to provide for all. I felt the COVID issue was overplayed and will look for a place next year that provides more amenities.

Lovely cottage

A lovely clean cottage, just perfect for a family with older children who can stay in the Bunkie. What a treat to be able to walk to the beach. Highly recommend

Great find.

Pictures are old. Newer more modern furniture now. Only Netflix on TV. No microwave but great to have washer and dryer. Close to the beach and very quiet especially during the week.
