Large house perfect for large families! Off Street Parking for 2 cars

This is honestly the most egregious review I have received in my seven years as a host. I have never had a guest completely fabricate an experience like this before. What makes this especially concerning is that during this guest’s entire 7-day stay, not once did he contact me about any issue involving pests. He never called, messaged, contacted VRBO, requested pest service, requested a refund, or attempted to leave the property early. There were also no photos or videos provided because this incident simply did not happen. Ironically, upon check-in, this guest asked if our locked storage/supply room could remain open so he could help himself to supplies during his stay. I politely declined. Based on the timeline and complete lack of evidence or communication during the reservation, I can only assume this review is retaliatory in nature. I also want future guests to know that I take the cleanliness and maintenance of my home extremely seriously. I have professional preventative pest control service performed quarterly as part of routine maintenance, and there has never been any finding of concern reported. Thankfully, my years of positive reviews and Superhost status speak for themselves. I encourage future guests to read my review history and make their decision based on the consistent experiences of the many guests who have truly enjoyed staying in my home. It’s unfortunate that VRBO has chosen not to remove a review they themselves acknowledged has no supporting proof. Still, I remain committed to providing a clean, welcoming, and enjoyable stay for every guest who books with confidence.
