We loved staying at the Kiva, it was so unique and homey. We loved the outdoor spaces and the firepit. We would definitely recommend this place!

I already miss the kiva

What a lovely stay! The loft bed did make me a bit nervous - the stairs to get up are very narrow, it's practically a ladder, but overall it was such a lovely stay and I'll absolutely be recommending this to anybody who is thinking of a trip through the area.

Cactus paradise

Nice property btwn our airport in pheonix and next stay in sedona. Had everything we needed. Great way to enjoy what life might be like in cave creek. We loved it.

Quick weekend get away

The Kiva had all we needed for a short get away to the desert. Sarah was very accommodating. The loft bed was a different experience but very comfortable.

Ever heard of a kiva?

Neither had we but if you’re up for a bit of an adventure and don’t have mobility issues, this is a super-cute place perfect for two! Quiet, great birds, dark skies, accommodating host. Highly recommend!

A Great Find

Perfect for people who like short distances to what they need. The room/house is an octagon. All furnishings are smartly arranged so you’re only 4-8 steps from the kitchen to the bathroom to the bed/living room to the dining table to the entrance. It’s very comfortable and quiet. Great also for inviting a friend over and eating in!

The cutest little piece of heaven in AZ

I fell in LOVE from the moment I got to the house! It was perfect for my stay and I loved everything about the house! It is in a great location close to Cave Creek and lots of hiking! It was peaceful and isolated but yet in a neighborhood where I felt safe and comfortable! Thank you for sharing your home with me!

Magical Kiva

This is a small space, but it feels totally spacious. We had a lovely time in this well-designed, well-appointed, comfortable kiva celebrating my daughter's birthday. Sarah was communicative and flexible. Check-in could not have been easier.

Quaint Kiva in Beautiful Sonora Desert

We loved our short stay at this Kiva! If you are a lover of bungalow style homes it’s cool alone for that reason. To find out it was built by the owners parents makes it even more special. We loved our stay in Arizona and exploring the trails in the Sonora Desert!

Unique “Kiva” Experience

We loved this unique property in a quiet secluded setting! The interior was clean comfortable and well furnished. Bathroom includes all updated fixtures. We enjoyed the peaceful outside seating areas and really didn’t want to leave the property! We highly recommend especially if you want to just relax and enjoy!

Perfectly cute, cozy and comfortable.

Really great little place. It was a perfect private crash pad for me and my spouse while visiting friends in the area. Comfortable, clean, appointed nicely with conveniences- comfy bedding, big fluffy towels and all of the appliances needful for a weekend getaway. I’m only sorry we couldn’t have stayed longer and enjoyed more time in the gorgeous scenery or taken a moment under all those stars. Next time!

Great hospitality and peace!

Amazing place to stay! My husband and I came from Utah to love the Arizona weather and get away! This place is a little bungalow built with love and hospitality! Everything you need! The sofa bed is what we chose to sleep on after sleeping on the loft bed! We were able to play Netflix and prime off chrome cast and it al worked out perfectly! Thank you so much for allowing us the visit!

Awesome out-of-the-ordinary

Great and fast commutation was awesome. We loved the unusual spot and house (well we are from the PNW and not use to the dessert). The outdoor spaces were we spent most of our time after dinner. The views of the hot-air balloons was a pleasant surprise. Oh..... the art in the yard is fun!

Awesome...

This was the coolest place I have ever stayed! The kiva was unique and comfortable. The neighborhood was nice with wildlife and cacti galore. I would definitely return!

Hello,

My parents built this special space. I grew up nearby and we have lived here our whole lives. I live in Cancun mexico,with my husband, has our first daughter and realized we had to be close to my parents.. so we live in the kiva until we had our 2nd child and then we outgrew the space.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This is amazing, a little small to live in all the time, which gave me the idea to make it a vacation rental.
Its one of a kind..

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This is a octagon shaped home, that is partially built underground. The upper half is all windows that look out into the beautiful AZ sky. The sleeping loft is on ground level so when you wake up you have your own little nature show. This home is on its one 1/4 acre, with a private drive. Super peaceful and secure.
