Les enfants sont partis, le quai est vide et cet endroit est trop spécial pour ne pas être partagé. Nous avons converti l'étage en un appartement d'une chambre pour votre plaisir. Il dispose d'un lit queen-size et la cuisine / coin repas comprend un ensemble de lits superposés jumeaux. Toutes les chambres partagent une vue sur le lac Pend Oreille et les montagnes de Selkirk. Nous venons de construire une rampe directement du parking à la porte d'entrée. Notre maison est entourée de cèdres géants et donne sur le lac à Sandpoint (6 mile en voiture) et Schweitzer Mountain (18 mile en voiture). Accès complet à toutes les autres commodités de la propriété comprenant notre foyer (Smores quelqu'un?) et bain à remous en hiver, ou le quai, barbecue, toboggan et lac en été. Les équipements supplémentaires incluent un local à skis chauffé et un entretien expert des équipements sur demande en hiver, ainsi que l'amarrage des bateaux sur place en été. Mais ce qui distingue vraiment cette propriété, c'est d'avoir les propriétaires comme ressource à temps plein. Nous avons élevé nos enfants ici, connaissons toutes les activités et destinations locales et pouvons vous aider à résoudre des besoins de voyage imprévus. Une sorte de service de conciergerie.

The private dock and lake access, along with the view, is what makes this property really shine. The hosts are so welcoming and accommodating and they went the extra mile to make our stay great.

Beautiful place, wonderful people

Beautiful lake place with wonderful hosts. Our kids absolutely loved the slide on the dock and gorgeous setting. The beds were cozy and place was so clean. We’ll definitely be back!

Couldn’t ask for more

We had the pleasure of staying 3 nights at this beautiful location. Our trip took an unexpected turn with a storm and a nearly sunk boat. The property owner Shep and Joy went so far above and beyond to help us. We cannot thank them enough. Please do not hesitate to book your stay. Fishing, swimming, and paddle boarding from their dock will be fond memories for years to come.

A Serene Retreat

Shep and Joy have a beautiful home, it had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. Shep drew us a map and listed out the various xc skiing options for our weekend in Sagle, so helpful! And we loved soaking in the hot tub afterwards with that amazing view!

Gorgeous spot on the lake with the most gracious hosts

My husband, daughter, and I stayed here for three nights and had a wonderful time. The property is clean, beds are comfy, and you have access to the lakefront from their dock. We rented kayaks from our hosts, and they were helpful getting us out on the water. Shep and Joy are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Highly recommend staying here.

Little piece of paradise

We had an absolute amazing time at Shep and Joy's place. The water slide, garden, and kitty cat made being on the lake extra special. Shep and Joy were especially kind to our children. We will stay again!

Amazing ! Gorgeous setting !

My daughter and grand daughter and I had a lovely one night stay at his beautiful Place ! Shep welcomes us and made our stay wonderful ! Gorgeous view of the lake as well as access to it , and the hot tub was glorious !! I was happy it wasn’t too far off the highway too after driving for hours from Portland . We would all highly recommend this fantastic place .. ! Close to sandpoint too !

Beautiful place with great hospitality

Beautiful quite place on the lake. The private garden and dock are great places to relax. Shep and Joy are very hospitable and available if you need anything. I even borrowed a belt because I forgot to bring mine for a wedding!

WONDERFUL!

Clean, comfortable, Loved the private dock, hot tub, and the wild raspberry's. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings looking out over such an amazing view! Shep is a wonderful host and it was a great pleasure to meet him. Hope we can meet Joy next time!

Great property! Great hosts!

Our family of four had a great time at this location. The accommodations were clean and just the right size for us. Despite not having a kitchen, it was well equipped with many kitchen tools and utensils that were useful. Our kids loved swimming by the dock and the slide. The hosts were beyond caring and informative. They went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Hôte : Shep Snow

We're both career military officers and travelled all over the USA and the World for 30 years. Shep is now the director of an alpine ski racing team, and also runs an avalanche school. Joy is an avid skier, sailor and kayaker when not keeping a lid on things at home.

As we prepared to retire from the military we searched for a small town to raise our children. Another essential ingredient was finding a place where we could pursue our hobbies of skiing, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, etc, etc. Sandpoint has it all!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our home offers the quiet of the South shore while being minutes away from downtown Sandpoint. Most of the residences on our road are vacant in the Winter, and few things are finer than sitting in the hot tub, gazing at lights across the lake with the only sounds being snowflakes floating through the trees. In the Summer, the lake gives us fast and easy access to everything town has to offer.
