The view is spectacular, especially from the top floor deck. Very short walk to the beach. The extra beach chairs and umbrella came in hand. The power went out while we were there and Mr. Randolph quickly contacted me to let me know about the outage and a projected time for the power to be back on. We appreciated his hospitality.

Our friends rent a beachfront house about four houses down every year and it was great to be so close to them and let the kids be able to go back and forth! I do wish there was a better vacuum though

My family of 10 and I stayed at this rental August 2025 and we had the best time! We have a hard time finding houses that have enough beds for the grown adults in our family and this house was perfect! It was close to the beach as well as close to the sound side. We have fishermen in our family, so being close to the water is important. We also had family members who used the kayaks, and that was great. Dan is super friendly and helped with anything we needed. We are already planning for next year's trip.

The beach home was amazing!! So clean, up to date, & comfortable. I also very much appreciate good communication with the owner. It’s a short walk from the beach and served our family well!! I would definitely recommend it to my friends & family!!

Check in was very easy. Our friendly host responded immediately to any email I sent. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and serving food. We prepared nearly all of our meals. We had everything we needed. We appreciated the trash bags, dishwasher detergent, toiletries that were available upon arrival. There was plenty of dining room seating for all. We loved the large porch with breezes and ocean views. Beach access was a couple of minutes away, very convenient. Would give more stars if I could!

Great trip- great house

Just returned from OIB. The house was everything we hoped for. 17 people and we never felt crowded. The rooms were perfect. The 2 living rooms enabled the kids to have a place to go and watch their videos and play.We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening watching the waves - great views!!! We had plenty of parking for ALL our cars and golf carts and the beach access was a 4-5 min walk at the most. Dan was easy to work with. We were expecting weather the night we arrived and Dan gave us forecast and followed up with us throughout the storm. We had no issues during our stay. Just a really nice trip and everyone enjoyed themselves.We will definitely be booking again.Thanks Again Dan

Excellent. It would be nice to have an elevator. My husband and I are in our eighties and it was rough climbing the stairs. lol!! Well furnished, everything we needed.

This is a beautiful home located near the west end of the island. The beach was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the mat beach access area. It was so much easier to bring the wagon & beach gear. This home is immaculate with plenty to space for our family.The kitchen is well equipped with anything you may need. Beware, the coffeee pot is NOT auto shutoff so make sure it's off. For the price and quality of families renting the only thing was the lacking of quality of decor in the home and lack of outdoor seating. There were only 4 rockers on the first floor and 3 chairs on the 1st floor. There was no comfy seating for morning coffee or ocean breezes. A hammock would have been great for afternoon naps as there was plenty of room to have one.The Host was most approachable and ready to help with any questions. He did have 3 additional rockers from Home Depot delivered for our family of 12. A few upgrades would make this a 5 star home!

Lovely home!!

I was very impressed with this home! The layout (two living rooms, basically) was perfect for everybody to be able to unwind. The home was really spacious and clean. There was plenty of parking under the home for all of our vehicles (including my Harley and trailer). The communication with the homeowner was very professional and timely. The weather didn’t cooperate at all while we were there, so we were in the house quite a bit more than usual on vacation. This home made the best of it and I will definitely stay here again if it’s available on our next trip!!

Beautiful House

This was the perfect house for our family. Our son, daughter-in-law, and children had the whole lower floor to themselves, with my husband and me upstairs. A wonderful location right at the ocean was so convenient for my husband to surf fish and for us to enjoy the beach with the grandkids. The house was very nice and clean; the photos don't do it justice! We encountered no issues whatsoever. A great place to stay!

Golf Trip

Great house plenty of room for 7 guys on golf trip. Quiet location, everything on property as described and pictured on VRBO. Would definitely stay here again!

Exactly as Advertised

Our vacation was amazing and a big part of the reason was the fact that this home was everything we could ask for! Great location, awesome views, plenty of space, comfortable beds and furniture, and CLEAN! We did not have any issues so no reason to bother our host but he was very informative and communicated all instructions from check in to check out. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Spring Breakers

This house was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed having lots of room to spread out. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the decks in the rockers. The short walk to the beach was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

We have visited dozens of beaches along the East and West Coasts of the US and fell in love with Ocean Isle Beach and decided to build our dream beach home here.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

The east end of Ocean Isle Beach is our favorite. It is never crowded, has access to the widest beach in OIB along the Shallotte Inlet and has easy access to launch kayaks at Ferry Landing Park. The sunrises from the kitchen / dining room, decks, and master bedroom are amazing!
