Shorewood est un bâtiment avec ascenseur de cinq étages situé à South Forest Beach. Parmi les commodités offertes sur l’île de Hilton Head, Shorewood se trouve à deux pâtés de maisons du Coligny Beach Market, un centre-ville pittoresque qui propose à ses clients un large choix de restaurants, de boutiques et d’activités.
Cet espace de vie confortable de plus de 1 200 pieds carrés comprend une chambre principale avec un lit king-size et une chambre d'amis avec un lit queen-size et des lits jumeaux. Il y a aussi un canapé-lit queen dans le salon.
Shorewood 338 est une unité confortable avec Internet sans fil et un grand téléviseur de 55 pouces dans le salon. La cuisine est entièrement équipée pour tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour préparer un repas. Il y a une laveuse et une sécheuse pour votre commodité hors de la cuisine. Ce condo au troisième étage a une vue magnifique sur l'océan et la piscine depuis le balcon. La piscine est chauffée du 1er mars au 30 avril et du 1er octobre au 30 novembre.

We love the location of Shorewood Villas and have stayed in many of the properties over the years. The location is great for walking down to the Tiki bar or over to Coligny Plaza. However, this specific unit is a bit tired and smelled musty. Overall clean but has paint chipping in the bathrooms. Also the living room furniture is very uncomfortable at the end of a long day.

A friend recommended Shorewood. We were so happy with our Condo and the location. We had easy access to the ocean, pool, restaurants, shopping and a paved trail for walking and biking. This is a gated community. I did not worry about our safety during the entire trip.

The condo was clean and very spacious. The property was well maintained. We enjoyed the pool and easy access to the beach.The only negative thing to say was that the shower head in the second bathroom needs to be replaced.The property owner was very responsive to all of my questions, and check in was very easy. Would definitely look to rent from this property owner again!

Cleanliness and location were great. Check in was a breeze. The unit just needs a little refresh. The master bathroom had a bit of mold on the ceiling and some peeling paint. The other bathroom needs a new shower curtain. Master bedroom lamps need replaced. Overall, the unit suited our needs and we had a great time. We are considering renting for next year.

My husband found the king size bed a bit soft, but the queen mattress was much firmer.The only criticism I could find is the shower heads. Both were in need of being replaced. Great Condo!!

We booked this vacation last minute and had never stayed in this area. This condo is prime location, close to the pool and beach with a beautiful view for this cost! It is extremely clean and the master bedroom bed is very comfortable! We looked past the fact that it isn’t totally updated because of the price and cleanliness! We will definitely be back to stay again! Thank you for a great week with our family!

Great complex and location, disappointing condo and bad timing

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed with Seashore Vacations and at the Shorewood many times and Shorewood is one of our favorite places to stay. However, this particular condo we were disappointed in. The king mattress has deep depressions in it and very uncomfortable. The living room furniture, especially the sofa, is very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. The master bathroom cabinet doors do not stay closed and could stand to be replaced. The hall bath shower nozzel did not work very well and needs to be replaced. The light switch in that bathroom also has issues - sometimes it came on and other times it would not. There was maintenance going on in other condos around us during our whole 2 week stay, which created lots of noise all day long and debri blowing onto our deck constantly, preventing us from using it. Also, we could not use the parking garage as planned because it was totally unavailable. We were made aware of this work going on one week prior to our arrival and had made reservations several months in advance. If we had known this would be going on when making reservations, we probably would have stayed somewhere else. We will definitely rent through Seashore Vacations again and will most definitely stay at the Shorewood again but will be in a different condo.

Great location

Easy walk to Coligny shops. Easy Access to beach. Unit is located right off the elevator. The decor is dated but the unit worked really well for our family of 4. Needs nicer/softer bath towels and I was not expecting to have to buy laundry detergent or Kleenex. You get a 4 digit code for the unit and another 4 digit code for property gates. It’s very easy to remember. The unit feels tucked back a bit which we prefer. The pool was very busy while we were there and it was nice to see it but not hear it. You can sit out on the balcony and still feel a sense of privacy. The stretch of beach is very nice and far enough away from the public access so it does not get as busy or crowded. It was just right. We would stay here again.

There were only a few minor repairs that needed to be taken care of, like the ice maker not working and blown lightbulbs. These things did not hinder us from enjoying our stay there. The condo was as described in the write up.We have used Seashore Vacations for years and find them to have a very professional friendly easy to work with staff! There were lots of families with small children, but the pool deck was large enough to accommodate without feeling crowded. We were four sisters looking for a place to spend a quiet relaxing week together catching up. This place definitely provided this for us. We will be coming again to stay here and eat at our favorite restaurant Skull Creek Boathouse.

Room with a view!

The zero entry pool and walkway to the beach are convenient and easy to navigate. It is a 5 minute walk to Coligny to take advantage of shopping, eating and drinking. Yes the toilets are low but that shouldn’t keep you from renting this condo! Seashore Vacations couldn’t be easier or nicer to work with! We would rent this unit again!

I would have hoped we could have done better.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Th condo flat out was not worth over $2800. It was advertised as able to sleep 7. I’ll bet the owner, nor the management group, ever spent a night on the pullout couch. Also, we had 6 adults, and felt very cramped. Another issue was the air conditioning. The condo felt very damp and clammy. This happens when the air conditioning unit is oversized. The air gets cooled quickly and the unit shuts off. The humidity never gets removed. I know this is very negative. But I think people should be aware. We paid a lot of money and deserved better.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this property for many years. This year was unusually disappointing. We accept the situation that "housekeeping & cleaning staff" are not easy to find and employee at this time. That being said, we were very surprised at the condition of our condo upon arrival. Floors were dirty and sand was on the floors of three of the rooms. Bathrooms were not clean. There was no toilet paper in either of the bathrooms. Ice maker was not working and the bottom shelf of the refrigerator was missing so the vegetable drawers were not usable for produce. Beds only had one flat sheet laid over top of the mattress covers with a quilt on top of flat sheet. I intentionally did not contact the rental office because I have used Seashore Vacations for many years and they have always been "top notch". I believe that cleaning services is challenging right now and the rental office was doing the best they can do. Based on my history with Seashore Vacation Rentals, I will use them again in the future based on their track record with me for over 20 years.

First stay at Shorewood

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You could tell that our unit was a rental. Every cabinet was over stuffed with extras previous guests left. There wasn’t any cabinet or closet space in the kitchen to put groceries. The floors were filthy. Our grandchildren were covered with ??? when they got up from being on the floor. After seeing how dirty the floors were, it felt like everything was dirty and full of germs.
