Notre maison nouvellement construite est directement en face du chemin de la plage (arrêt de la plage 11) sur Lake Shore Drive. La maison a été achevée en juin 2018. La maison a un plan ouvert - la cuisine s'ouvre sur le salon / salle à manger. La maison a 7 chambres à coucher, 4 salles de bain, un sous-sol complètement aménagé, une grande terrasse et un porche à l’arrière.

---------- Tous les commentaires sur cette liste qui sont avant 2018 sont pour le vieux chalet de plage que nous avions à cette adresse. Cette maison est nouvellement construite en 2018. ---------

Notre maison a 7 chambres à coucher et 4 salles de bain complètes. Les dispositions de la chambre sont les suivantes:

Chambre à coucher principale - 1 lit king, TV, salle de bain privée avec douche et baignoire
2ème chambre - 1 lit queen
3ème chambre à coucher - 1 lit queen
4ème chambre - 1 lit double, 1 lit simple
5ème chambre - 1 lit king
6ème chambre à coucher - 1 lit queen
7ème chambre - 2 lits superposés, les deux jumeaux sur plein, et 1 lit jumeau supplémentaire

L'espace

Vous allez adorer cette maison de vacances juste en face du chemin de la plage sur Lake Shore Drive. Notre maison offre plusieurs options de plein air: une grande terrasse à l'avant de la maison et un porche à l'arrière. L'intérieur de la maison est ouvert et la cuisine s'ouvre sur la salle à manger et le salon. La grande table à manger peut accueillir 10 à 11 personnes (8 chaises et un banc). Nous avons également une table et des chaises pliables pour 4 personnes supplémentaires dans le garde-manger qui peuvent être ajoutées à la table de la salle à manger pour un grand dîner. Le salon a un grand canapé en coupe. Le sous-sol a une salle familiale avec 2 canapés et 2 fauteuils supplémentaires.

Il y a 3 téléviseurs dans la maison: le salon et le sous-sol sont équipés de télévisions à grand écran avec accès à Comcast Cable et à Roku. La chambre principale a une télévision Roku. La maison a internet sans fil (wifi). Il y a de la place pour 5 véhicules dans l'allée devant la maison.

Cette maison a beaucoup d'attrait tout au long de l'année. Il est idéal pour les vacances d'été à la plage, une escapade automnale pour admirer les magnifiques feuilles, un week-end de football Notre-Dame, une retraite d'hiver neigeuse et tranquille, une pause détente au printemps ou une fin de semaine de dégustation de vin!

The property worked well for us

This location was perfect and the home was large enough to meet our group’s needs. The common areas were also large and open, easily accommodating our size group. We enjoyed the beach! The hosts were responsive when we had questions. The home also left a bit to be desired - it was clear there was some water damage to the home at one time and many areas that had been patched, but not sanded or painted. TV and fan remotes were either missing or didn't have batteries. There were some drainage/plumbing issues in the upstairs bathroom. The furniture was worn and dated. Cleaning service also appeared to have skipped an entire bathroom.

We were a large group- 5 families. We all fit in the house with plenty of room. Kitchen and eating area work well for big meals. Beach access was perfect. House is a little run down, but all just cosmetic and what I expect from a vacation rental. I would rent again.

Family Wedding Spot

This was a great place to host our family and friends who were coming into town for a family wedding. Lots of rooms and great location. It seems like it has some wear and tear so don't think it's brand new but the owner was super attentive to the repairs needed and made sure to respond to my messages quickly. I'd definitely recommend it for a family and friends get together!

A great long weekend stay.

The house was wonderful. Our group of 11 friends found the house to be a lovely getaway for a long weekend. When we checked in we noted a few small issues and the host , Colin, came to address them right away. The layout is great for a large group and having two porches is a nice bonus. We are already making plans to return to this house again.

We had the best time! Location was perfect!

The shore line was just steps away and being out there looking at that huge body of water was breathtaking! It was cool but refreshing at the same time! The house had plenty of room the beds were comfortable and we all slept great! I had some questions about the area before we arrived and Collin our host replied within the hour with all kinds of resources and we appreciated that so much! We hope to be back again next year!

Thanksgiving weekend away

Our family of 17 stayed for 4 nights, the house was perfect for us - plenty of very comfortable beds and space. Kitchen was very well stocked and house was very clean. The owner Colin was very quick to respond to the few questions we had. It was too cold to be at the beach but water was literally across the street. I would highly recommend this house!

The house is awesome for 13 people however it needs a deep clean with some numerous minor repairs needed, have a list of 13 items which need repair. Also some TLC but overall perfect location but not paying listing price for next year!

Great House and Location

This was a great spot for a beach vacation--the house was spacious and an easy walk to the beach. We'd stay here again if pets were allowed. The hosts were very responsive--there were a few minor things that would have been nice to have (salt/pepper shakers, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent), but the hosts had more pods delivered when we asked about their location. They also had a new coffee maker delivered when the current one stopped working.

Tidy but microwave didn't work!

The home is tidy and stocked at the level expected of a rental but not super clean. The microwave by all appearances should function - timer runs and it makes noise but doesn't heat anything which is tough when eating out and with children. Overall a nice stay, easy check in and out, and great access to the private beach a short walk away.

Great house for large group

Property was great. Host was very quick with responses. A 2nd refrigerator would have been very helpful with a large group. We agree with others about the towels. Definitely need an upgrade. We all felt like the towels were so old and picked up at the Goodwill from an estate sale. Air conditioner worked great since it was very hot and humid during our stay.

Book Club 20th Anniversary

This house was huge and the bedrooms and bathrooms were most sufficient and comfortable. The host was very easy to work with and accommodating on a few small issues we had. The access to the lake and beachfront was so easy and accessible. Beautiful beach. There were 10 of us and this property was more than sufficient for us. It does need a bit of tender loving care though. The sun porch was dirty and the metal strip on the stove was coming off. A few towel racks had come down and not been replaced but just left with the mounting hardware. Little things like that which made it good not excellent on the review

Lake House

The place is in a great location and sleeps a lot of people but it was not clean, bare minimum furniture which was old and uncomfortable. Provided only the smallest amount of staples - Toilet paper, paper towels, etc. (although he stated that in his instructions). Deck and porch furniture was falling apart. The place looked like a college apartment. For the price we were Very disappointed

Great stau

Was a great place for 10 adults and 13 children to stay. It was very cold and windy unfortunately but people still walked to the beach and enjoyed it. Lots of space. We didn't use the downstairs living room, as we wanted to be together. But there was plenty of space on the kitchen level. We even fit all 13 at the dining room table by adding some of the bar stools at the table. A few upgrades would definitely help: towel rack off wall on middle level; broken bench on deck by beach, definitely needed more than 2 dishwasher pods with so many people. A couple beds supported on corner books, downstairs bath had rusty vent and could use some paint.

Great Summer Getaway

Our family celebrated Thanksgiving here and had a wonderful time. The views of the lake are stunning. My only reservation is that the place appears to be focused on summer rentals. For example, there are no extra blankets, just the thin ones on the beds. Also while there are two excellent gas grills on the deck one propane tank was empty and the other was one third full. Despite that it worked out great for our family. In our master bedroom the toilet roll holder was missing from the wall. In another bedroom our daughter said the first pull on the paper roll and it broke from the wall. This is the fifth year we have celebrated Thanksgiving at Lake Michigan and this place was one of the best.

TLC

This property has a lot of space and a lot of rooms. The location was ideal. We had two kids (4 and 6) who could easily walk to the beach with no hesitation. We didn't have a stroller, but a stroller would have a tough time accessing the beach. The house itself needs a lot of TLC and/or updates. There were a lot of missing paint patches over the walls, cabinets falling apart, stained sheets on the bottom of one of the bunk beds, the dishwasher was broken and the fridge never got cold enough for drinks. So, for the price we paid, it was a little disappointing. If those things are fixed or updated, we will definitely be back.

Nice home; needs some TLC

This is nice home and can be a really nice home again with some TLC. Main areas were clean, however, needs a deep clean. A lot of cosmetic fixes are needed. Kitchen cabinet door missing, crown molding missing. Floor bulging around kitchen sink/dishwasher...i am assuming a leak somewhere. A whole lot of light bulbs need to be replaced. TV in basement is broken...cannot see the screen damage until you turn it on. We did a walk thru as soon as we arrived and took a lot of pictures of what was wrong. Be happy to send to someone. Excellent location and neighborhood.
