Le chalet est situé dans le parc national historique Keweenaw. Il peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes confortablement, il dispose de 2 chambres avec lits queen, et deux futons en taille réelle dans les autres pièces. Il y a un grand manger dans la cuisine, laveuse / sécheuse sur place, et une pièce fermée pour stocker du matériel. la cabine est situé entre Houghton 12 miles au sud et Copper Harbor 45 minutes au nord, et se trouve au bord de la ville, donc il est calme et pourtant à proximité des commerces et d'autres Active intérieurs ou extérieurs. Mt Ripley est de 12 miles au sud et Mt Bohême est de 18 miles au nord. Le principal sentier de motoneige est 1/2 mile away et facilement accessible.

Theresa the host was most helpful and accommodating. We were in Larium for our annual ski trip to Mt. Bohemia and on our second day the area was hit with a blizzard that dropped 18 inches of snow. Theresa had the parking area timely plowed which allowed us to travel. The home itself was very clean and the kitchen fully equipped. We recommend this place as a central home base to enjoy the Keweenaw

We came for a 3 day snowboarding trip. Terese was wonderful, very responsive and friendly. Check in process was easy and the house was beautiful with super unique and fun decor. However , the porch was my absolute favorite part of the house! Absolutely stunning and so much character! We loved the whole vibe and would definitely stay again. Thank you so much!

It was an absolute joy to stay at Theresa's place! We felt right at home. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed to make many meals there. The area is beautiful and the house itself is on a quiet road. I would stay here again!

This was our first stay in a rental house, and we loved it! Very cute property, hosts had put a lot of personal touch into the decorations and furniture. Hosts live right next door and were easy to contact. They provided local suggestions, and we got to see the chickens! We were mostly using the place to crash between adventures, so we didn't take advantage of all the amenities, but what you see in the pictures is what you get (We forgot to take pics of our own)! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Comfortable House

Comfortable house. Even with continuous snow drive way and sidewalks were clear of snow and plenty of parking for our work trucks. Better than staying in a hotel all week.

I have lived in this area for 33 years and have enjoyed all that the wild outdoors has to offer from fishing to hiking, biking, back packing, skiing, wild berry picking, rock hounding, and much more. This has made me very familiar with the off the beaten track areas which I like to share. I have worked in the local service industry and like to give recommendations of favorites to experience.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

I purchased the property to use it as a family guest place. My guests suggested many times that it is such a great place that I should offer it to vacationers, so I have. The neighborhood is peaceful and the woods have a walking and biking trail and is just across the street from the house. There's also an amphitheater only a few blocks away that has entertainment throughout the summer months. There is a small restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch, only a block away. There are quite a few other businesses located close to the cabin in Calumet including a grocery store, laundry mat, theater, gas, restaurants and many gift shops. Lake Superior beaches are located only 4 miles from the cabin. Groomed ski trails and a sledding hill are a mile and a half away. its a wonderful central location to all the actives.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

It is easy to fall in love with the area because of the small town feel and peacefulness of the area where couples take evening walks hand in hand with their children .There is a 10 pm curfew for kids under 16 and a whistle sounds at 10pm to let them know. The woods are across the road making it a quiet place yet close enough to town that you can get there quickly. There is a local hospital Aspirus only 2 blocks away. The main snowmobile and ATV trail is 1/2 mile away from the cabin, you don't have to go on main roads to get to it. When community events occur and there's fireworks you can see them from the windows of the cabin. Off street parking that can accommodate up to three trucks and trailers.
