De la Casa del Falcetto aussi loin que vous pouvez voir dans toutes les directions, la vue à 360 degrés sur le parc national est spéciale et magnifique. Il y a un accÚs facile et beaucoup de stationnement sans bords précipités à craindre.

Que ce soit depuis le balcon du salon, de la piscine ou de juliette, une caractĂ©ristique des deux chambres principales, vous pouvez voir la petite ferme locale, la jolie petite Ă©glise et au loin les aigles, vous pourriez dire, sont les villages forteresses Ă  flanc de colline de Castiglioncello et Pugliano, oĂč Ă  l'heure du dĂ©jeuner, le bar local sert certaines des meilleures pĂątes de la rĂ©gion! À Reusa (3 miles) se trouve le restaurant Spino Fioretti oĂč du lundi au vendredi un superbe dĂ©jeuner est Ă  seulement 12 euros, eau et vin compris. Demandez «Pranzo del lavoro».

Dans un parc national, toute la zone est totalement prĂ©servĂ©e et il est parfois difficile de croire que vous ne vivez pas Ă  un Ăąge diffĂ©rent. Vous pouvez conduire une vingtaine de minutes jusqu'Ă  Fivizzano, la ville principale de la commune, prendre un cafĂ© Ă  Elviros, Ă©changer librement vos livres et peut-ĂȘtre ne voir qu'une ou deux voitures. Les restaurants sont nombreux et ont une qualitĂ© rustique et charmante, et les Italiens toujours amicaux toujours prĂȘts avec un buona sera ou buon appetito.

En mĂȘme temps, nous ne sommes pas isolĂ©s. Les agrĂ©ments locaux, c.-Ă -d. Banque, PO, supermarchĂ© peuvent ĂȘtre trouvĂ©s Ă  Casola Ă  cinq minutes en voiture. Temps de trajet similaire Ă  la petite ville de Pieve San Lorenzo et avec un parking gratuit, puis prenez le train pour la charmante ville renaissance fortifiĂ©e de Lucques (une heure et environ 6 euros), ou Ă  peu prĂšs n'importe oĂč ailleurs de Rome Ă  Milan. Alternativement, une heure de route vous mĂšnera jusqu'aux plages cĂŽtiĂšres ou Ă  Portovenere et au cƓur du site du patrimoine mondial des Cinque Terre avec ses petites criques de type cornouaillais et ses falaises abruptes plongeant dans la mer. Encore vingt minutes de route vous amĂšneraient Ă  Ravello, Viareggio ou Ă  l'intĂ©rieur des terres Ă  Parme, la maison du fromage parmegiano, ou redescendez la cĂŽte Ă  Florence !!

Beautiful villa with absolute privacy! Loved every minute. Amazing view, comfy rooms, great pool and just the lovely sounds of Nature. You feel isolated in the best possible Way - and great eateries and shopping not to far away. A car is essential and you Will need to plan shopping as the roads are for the confident driver and it takes approx 20-30 min. To the nearest supermarked. But if you LOVE relaxing, sunbathing, swimming in the beauty that is Tuscany you Will not be dissapointed! And the hosts are absolutely lovely too. Definitely recommendable!!!

2 weeks in the mountains

We recently enjoyed 2 weeks at the property and it was exactly as we had hoped - quiet, relaxing and a great getaway from our hectic lives. The road in was not as precarious as others had mentioned and once at the home it’s fantastic. The views are wonderful and all the conveniences one would expect are at your fingertips. 3rd time in casa del falcetto- again amazing stay

We spend wonderful 2 weeks in this beautiful and relaxing house. Tony and Linda are wonderful hosts and have made some small but nice adjustment to the house during the years. We love the outdoor shower, the well maintaned property and the stunnig view with the pool and the mountains. Communication as always uncomplicated. If you are looking for a peaceful and close to natur place- this it is.

Nice and peacefull villa

Linda & Tony are gracious hosts and know their villa's surroundings well so all tips were spot on. The villa is beautifully situated with no immediate neighbors so a relaxing stay is guaranteed for those of us looking for peace and quiet. For off-season stays its best to check carefully the restaurant opening times, but plenty good places around. Car with a higher clearance recommended, especially if venturing to smaller back roads.

This home is just wonderful! The house, the views, all of it. If you want a cozy spot with peace and quiet, one with good restaurants around, or a kitchen to try your own Italian cooking in, this is it. And the pool is an added bonus. Tony answered any questions we had and left us some lovely wine. Such a pleasant place to spend a vacation! Was tough to leave!

Magic Mountain view

This property is magical. From the house to the pool very very private to the most amazing view. Well appointed beautiful and clean. Could not fault it. We had the best time there and highly recommend if you want peace and quiet. We went on lots of easily accessible day trips with our car but the train and bus stations are close by if needed. We had some authentic Italian meals in the many restaurants dotted around the district. Can not recommend this place highly enough.

Peace and Tranquility

After spending 3 weeks in Casa del Falcetto in 2020 we were very excited if we would love the place again so much. What should I say? We felt like coming home! The house has everything that we need, the pool is lovely and the view is stunning. Linda and Tony are lovely and welcoming hosts given all the current information you need ahead. Away from it all

This was a beautiful property in a beautiful location. We had an issue on the first night with the outside lights not working but we emailed tony and it was sorted the next day by a local couple who look after the property. Although we like rurality we struggled for things like bread as it doesn't keep overnight and we had to be more organised or go out every day. The holiday was fantastic and we would recommend this property.

Lovely private villa

My partner and I had a lovely week-long stay at Casa Falcetto. We wish we had booked another week! It's very relaxing with breathtaking views over the mountains. The villa is well equipped with everything you need - everything has been thought of from a well stocked kitchen, BBQ, pool to insect repellent (not needed during our stay), replacement light bulbs, beach towels and linens, etc. The recommendations provided by the owner of nearby towns and restaurants to visit were much appreciated! We especially enjoyed Spino Fiorito, where we had a traditional, very reasonably priced dinner twice. We will definitely be recommending the villa to family and friends looking for accommodation in Italy and hope to return one day ourselves.

Paradise place with heated pool

First of all, it was a pleasure to communicate with the owner Mr. and Mrs. Perkins. We even received mail with the exact arrival details before the trip and the current situation on site due to the pandemic. The house and the surroundings are beautiful and exceed the photos. The view of the mountains is breathtaking. It is a very peaceful and quiet place to relax and recharge the batteries. The pool is stunning and we sprend a lot of time swimming with the kids. Everything is well maintained, for example the pool cleaner comes twice a week. We had an incredibly impressive and relaxing time and would go back anytime.

Great House in a beautiful location

It was very lovely staying at the beautiful house of Tony and Linda. Views from the House are stunning and the pool is great. The house is perfect for summertime and perfect for exploring Tuscany. With trips to Lucca, Pisa and Cinque Terre. We came out of season in end september and unfortunately the weather was not great and therefore the house felt a bit small for 5 persons as we were not much outside. However the heating functioned very well. Many of the restaurants in the neighbourhood were closed most days because of the time of year. The communication with the hosts was great also during the stay and they were very helpful. The house was very clean, however unfortunately the previous renters didn’t clean the cutlery and dishes very well. outside.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Our journey began rather unexpectedly. After my husband Tony experienced a health scare, we found ourselves searching for a project—something positive to focus on, without any real expectation that it would lead anywhere in particular.
That search brought us to Lunigiana, the ancient name for the northernmost corner of Tuscany. As we drove higher into the foothills of the Apuane Mountains, approaching the edges of the National Park, almost every bend in the road revealed either a charming village scene or a breathtaking panoramic view. Eventually, we arrived at the fortress village of Casola, dramatically set on a rocky outcrop, just as you might imagine from a travel book.
The surrounding landscape is completely unspoilt, and when we first set eyes on what would become our home—a delightful old barn tucked among vine terraces and olive groves, high on the hillside—we knew, despite our best efforts to remain sensible, that it was “a done deal.” That was in 2004, the year we lovingly converted the barn into our house.
Since then, it has been the setting for countless relaxing holidays and happy weeks, both as a couple and with children. Over the years, many of our guests have told us what a truly special place this is—a sentiment we never tire of hearing.
More recently, we have continued to enhance the property for guests’ comfort and enjoyment. These improvements include a new kitchen, upgraded outdoor furniture, and a new patio designed for al‑fresco dining, allowing you to fully appreciate the extraordinary views.
