Superbe appartement au dernier Ă©tage dans l'une des plus belles rues de Nice, la belle rue bordĂ©e d'arbres Alphonse Karr. Cette propriĂ©tĂ© au sixiĂšme Ă©tage d'un immeuble Art DĂ©co (avec ascenseur) est parfaitement situĂ©e au cƓur de la CarrĂ© d'Or. Avec un double aspect, l'appartement a une vue ouverte sur l'Est et le Sud assurant un ensoleillement du lever du soleil sur le mont Boron jusqu'Ă  la fin de l'aprĂšs-midi. Un balcon s'Ă©tend sur toute la longueur de l'appartement et est accessible depuis toutes les piĂšces par 4 portes françaises. Il y a de belles vues sur les toits de Nice, les collines et les montagnes au-delĂ , et dans la rue chic bordĂ©e de boutiques ci-dessous: l'endroit idĂ©al pour le cafĂ© et les croissants le matin ou un verre de vin rosĂ© local l'aprĂšs-midi. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral in der NĂ€he von der FußgĂ€ngerzone mit vielen Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der Bahnhof ist in ca. 12 Minuten zu erreichen, die nĂ€chste Straßenbahnhaltestelle in 5 Minuten. Die KĂŒche ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit einem Kombi-Backofen, Herd mit 2 Induktionsfeldern, kleiner SpĂŒlmaschine und Waschmaschine. Es gibt einen Ordner mit Anleitungen zu allen technischen GerĂ€ren sowie Informationen zu Nizza. Das Bad ist groß mit viel AblageflĂ€che. Die WohnungsĂŒbergabe erfolgte persönlich, der Kontakt hat gut funktioniert. Der Balkon geht zwar um die ganze Wohnung herum, ist aber sehr schmal wie oft in französischen HĂ€usern. Er wirkte etwas ungepflegt. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung schön hell (Anfang Januar Sonne bis ca. 15 00 Uhr). FĂŒr kĂ€ltere Tage gibt es einen kleinen HeizlĂŒfter zusĂ€tzlich zur Klimaanlage. Das Haus hat einen hohen Sicherheitsstandard. Wir können die Wohnung empfehlen.

It was a very convent home base to visit the Nice area. Had to adjust dates because of possible Air Craft control strike and owner was very kind and flexible and quickly refunded the dates that I rescheduled.

The space was good. Location also good. There was an issue with the shower draining and that was not so good. Some days it would drain fine but others it would flood the bathroom. The property manager was responsive in our concerns about it but it did not get resolved in our stay due to the inconsistency of it. Overall the place was good and the patio was great for morning coffee and evening wine.

Beautiful rental in a great location

This was a great place to stay for my week long trip to Nice. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station and 5-10 minute walk from the waterfront, so the location was perfect for both exploring Nice and doing day trips nearby. So many nearby shops, restaurants, and things to do, all walkable. The apartment had everything you could need - full kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom. The balcony was lovely and the area nearby was safe and pretty quiet at night. The host was very friendly and helpful, and very responsive to messages. Highly recommend this rental and would love to come back some day.

Carnaval 2025

This was our second time staying in this apartment for Carnaval. The location is perfect for the Carnaval events as well as for exploring Nice and the surrounding area. The building is clean and quiet and the apartment is well equipped. Mehran was very accommodating and attentive. My friend and I plan on making this our annual trip together, and certainly will continue to stay here.

Place is tired

The couch is uncomfortable. The floor is lifting by the windows where rain damage has caused the wood to lift. The place needs a deep and thorough cleaning. The washer dryer combo never really dries anything, especially the bath towels. The stove only has one burner but it works fast! The location is fantastic and it is quiet at night. We loved how close all the transportation hubs were to the apartment. The restaurant across the street has great takeout.

Perfect location

The apartment is perfectly located, just a few minutes from the tram and buses and a 10 min. walk to the boulevard des Anglais. It is in walking distance to the old town and to most of the sites. Bakeries and grocery stores and many restaurants are also nearby and a 15. min. walk takes you to the train station. The apartment has a modern kitchen with all appliances and plenty of dishes. We were disappointed that because of two large portable air conditioners two of the doors to the balcony could neither be completely closed nor opened. All in all, we recommend this apartment.

When we moved into this apartment, the stove didn't work, there were also ants crawling on the floor, there weren't enough toiletries, shampoo, shower gel.

A few little things were annoying. (1) Only 2 toilet rolls for 3 people for 4 nights so we had to request more (2) there were no garbage bags (3) no instructions for the washing machine so had to waste time on Google to find some. (4) No instructions for oven and microwave (5) didn't discover the drying rack on balcony until day 3 of our stay. Would have been better to be told on arrival. (6) Noisy Aircon. Maybe the owners should prepare a welcome pack with all these things in.

Great Location

Quiet apartment on top floor. Nice view, and really close to Old town,Train Station, Patisserie (Right across the street), supermarket(1/2 block away). Mehran, checked us in early, and did a walk thru. He even installed a portable A/C. Great spot!

Super klasse fĂŒr eine StĂ€dtereise

Das Haus befindet sich im Herzen Nizzas, nur ein paar Schritte von Place Massena, Promenade des Anglais, Avenue Jean MĂ©decin etc. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist hervorragend. Die SchlĂŒsselĂŒbergabe war total unkompliziert. Mehram ist super nett und aufmerksam. Die Kommunikation mit ihm lief problemlos. Was braucht mehr? Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Merci beaucoup et au revoir!

Une belle vacance en Nice

This is a lovely snug apartment in the Carre d’Or in Nice. Everything you need from pots and pans to comfy beds and a breakfast balcony! The location is superb being a short walk to Place Massena, the Promenade, Vielle Ville and train station. The neighbourhood is full of lovely shops as well as a sinfully good patisserie just across the street. Mehran was always available and responded quickly to any text. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Nice is a wonderful city - there is something for everyone to do or see, and the weather is fantastic whatever time of year you choose to visit.

The property was completely refurbished in 2011. We have sought to make the most of the space available in a simple, relaxed, practical, modern yet stylish way. All materials and fittings are of high quality giving a little bit of the good life in the French Riviera - we could all do with a bit of that from time to time.
